Tales from the Unholy Raven

#1
Night 1: Welcome to the Moon
From the outside it looks enchanting, modest and well maintained. Plastered walls and huge, stone pillars make up most of the building's outer structure, it didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the red light district but it made it all the more alluring. It's difficult to see through the large, stained glass windows, but the inviting music from within can be felt outside. As you enter the tavern through the decorated, metal door, you're welcomed by the smile of a waitress and joyful music. The bartender is engaged in a conversation, but still manages to welcome you with a short wave. It's as alluring inside as it is on the outside. Several walls support the upper floor and the lanterns attached to them. The walls are loaded with hundreds of memorabilia, all signed and most likely donated by customers..The tavern itself is packed. Locals seem to be the primary clientele here, which could be seen as a bad sign, though you're sure it's not. Several long tables are occupied by several smaller groups of people. The other, smaller tables are also occupied by people who are playing games and, judging by their laughter, are either telling jokes or great, perhaps embarrassing, tales. Even most of the stools at the bar are occupied, though nobody seems to mind more company. You did hear rumors about this tavern, supposedly it's famous for something, but you can't remember what for. Though judging by the amount of women in this tavern and the amount of them trying to subtly eye the bartender, it's probably his good looks and charm. You manage to find a seat and prepare for what will undoubtedly be a great evening.
’’Ah! Why hello there! I haven’t seen ya before have I? Hehe, no I think not. Well you better be prepared, for this will be a night… or actually, several nights of great tales from personal experience! So order a drink or two and get comfortable!’’ the porcelain white-skinned man would grin at you for several seconds as he seated himself next to you at the bar. ‘’Oh right! I forgot to introduce meself, i’m Zarxi Abaeir! The owner of this lovely establishment! Oh and don’t tell me lil’ sis, she’s scary when she’s angry. She’s technically the owner… but who cares right! So, ya ready? Got ya drinks? Good! Let’s start at the beginning shall we?’’‘’So, it was many, many years ago when I was still me handsome self heh! I just landed at the spaceport when it all happened…’’
’’Oi sis! Just stay in there, i’ll talk to Davos for that home he mentioned ya!?’’ The man turned around, revealing the porcelain-white skin, a surprisingly dazzling face that was very angularly shaped. Raven black hair pulled back and tied into a tight bun that held a golden pin through it. Eyes, grey of colour in its sockets. The man would smirk charmingly at the mere thought of all the wonders he was going to experience on this new world. He raised his right hand to stroke the finger long, black haired goatee. Wearing armoured robes of black, silver and gold he stepped down the ramp of the ship.
A single twi’lek with yellow skin colour would walk up to him in clothes that were torn and made from junk, a devious smirk glued to his face as he rubbed his own hands. The twi’lek man was covered in strange patterns that went across the lekku. ’’Dotmheca mee peekasa, shlon an yanee kolka.’’
’’Right, you heard me right. That thing had tentacles growing out of its head! That can’t be healthy… i’m convinced those people are sick like all the time. And do you hear that? What’s he saying!? Its probably part of that tentacle illness. But this one looks friendly right?’’
Why hello there… tentacle man, do you speak proper language or are you asking for medical attention? If so, I don’t think you’ll find it in this hangar bay.’’ The charming man would send a sensual wink towards the twi’lek, surely it couldn’t resist his nagaian charms. The twi’lek would suddenly widen his eyes and pointed his left hand towards his ship. Zarxi would turn around and look around to see what was so distracting from himself. It was in that moment that a muffled blaster bolt could be heard and Zarxi fell forwards, his body paralysed. The twi’lek laughed and ran into the ship, which took started and took off shortly after.
’’Huh…. Who would’ve thought…’’
Five individuals would walk in slow motion, moving side by side. On the far left was a red-skinned zabrak male covered in more of those weird tattoos. Many horns on its head and several cybernetic implants could be seen through the skin embedded into his skull. Next to him was a hypnotically beautiful human woman with long blond hair, wearing a skin-tight outfit that made her entire physique very notable. In the center would the dashingly handsome nagaian we all love, Zarxi. To the far right would be another woman, or so it seems. It was hard to tell through the heavy armor and portable turret she was carrying. And last but certainly not least, in between the armoury and Zarxi would be the mystic warrior. A tall and muscular rattataki with not a single piercing or tattoo, wearing long black robes and a long wooden staff that was glowing a faint red. They all nodded at each other and whipped their arsenal of weaponry out. A warcry coming from all of them as the slow motion stopped and they suddenly ran into a volley of blaster fire.
’’You’re probably confused aren’t ya? Yeah, come back tomorrow right? I’ll tell ya another story then. Like, what is this tentacle illness? Or, what happened to me lil’ sis in the ship. Or what happened to the ship itself! Maybe we even get time to explain who those others were! Hehe, many tales to tell here at the Unholy Raven! Come back tomorrow!’’

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
