Khirus' journal

#3
Entry# 3

A furious yell filled the medbay as Khirus nearly started to punch the wall at his left but the Pureblood chose not to. He nearly ripped the sheet of flimsiplast out of his robes using his left hand and tried to start writing but his anger was too much to handle and he threw the pen before the sheet followed. The young Pureblood took his time trying to calm down enough that he could write, and after some curses uttered in Sith he collected the pen and the sheet of flimsiplast from the floor and started to write, even though the letters were little shakey due to his fury, atleast he was ambidextrous so the writing wasn’t hard with his left hand.

“Again! AGAIN!? Has my damn mother cursed me to be a failure in what ever I might do!? For once I started to progress with my studies and I learning new skills but then when it was the time to practice Force Shock with our fellow Acolytes it backfired before I even got to start properly!”

Khírus turned his amber hued eyes to his injured right side shoulder and then from his elbow to fingertips, seeing the injured and slighty burned flesh.

“I can take a beating from my superiours, hell, it is expected but once again I was bested by a fellow Acolyte.. I respect strength and their skill and only things what makes this pain slighty more tolerable is the mutual respect we have between us and our race which we share. It is better to lose if you learn something, than to win constantly and learn nothing but this.. This constant failing is something I cannot, I -will- not tolerate anymore! From this day on, I will train more harder, more longer and more vigorously than I ever have trained before. I shall abstain from anything what might take my focus away from my goals and I will eat only such things what my body requires for it’s optimal performance. I.. I was made to crawl from the training room to the Medbay after I lost to Acolyte Avestia.. To crawl!”

The infuriated Acolyte released another yell before he simply rolled the sheet and pushed it inside his robes and snapping the pen in half being too angered to write down more about the past week, before the Medical Droid came to treat his injuries.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
