From noble to Sith.

#1
Spoiler: Writers note:
Avestia felt the first rays of synthetic sunlight connect onto her eyelids, causing her to turn her head, away from the nuisance it was, as minor as it were. Their estate on Dromund Kaas was located in such manner that the chance of waking up by natural sunlight, which already was so slim for others, was impossible. The movement of her head was followed by the so well known moment when one was waking up, wondering where they were.

She blinked a few times, her sleepy mind far from fully functional but barely functional enough to realize she was laying in her own bed. A moment later it sprung to her mind that the blanket was brushing directly against her crimson skin. It was an unusual sensation to her, an irregularity to her usual black nightgown.

Rubbing her eyes drowsily she started slowly waking up, closing her eyes as she stretched her arms upwards. Once she opened her eyes they were met with another irregularity, ruby digits setting themselves upon the masculine face that to her side, on the large pillow. Rapidly she tried to think back to the previous night, but between her sleepiness and the influence of alcohol on aforementioned night she couldn’t remember much to anything.

All she could remember was having a drink with..the man that laid next to her. She felt herself blush heavily at the thoughts of what might have happened, blood rushing to her face to cause the pureblood’s red cheeks to go a deep purple. It was too early in the morning for the disbelief and shame she felt, even though there was a rebellious side in her that felt proud.

This feeling of pride that she felt when she ran a velvety hand over his cheek, was quickly pushed away by another realization. Her father had told her to behave around these guests, as they were part of a diplomatic envoy of another noble house. While not publicly disclosed, rumours had spread. Rumours of political marriage, concerning herself and her older brother.

These fear inducing thoughts caused a shiver to go through her spine, her good mood having suddenly evaporated. An unaristocratic ‘kriff’ escaped her lips in inaudible manner as she raised from the bed, slowly leaving as not to wake her guest up. With light steps she moved over to her closet, gathering a quick set of clothes before opening the door to the bathroom.

She had hoped to lose the uncomfortable feeling that had buried itself deep inside her, but the attempt at forgetting everything around her in the shower proved futile. With an annoyed frown she left the shower to hurriedly dress herself once more.

Looking into the mirror she could only feel satisfied with her appearance. For the day she had chosen a pair of beige pants, a deep blue blouse that strongly contradicted her red skin, and a thick black vest to compliment her already tomboyish looks. There was neither many girlish things to her appearance, nor was there anything that hinted of her position as noble. Just as she liked it.

Glancing over to her bed she noticed the only change in his position had been him turning around, still fast asleep, which caused her to wonder if it was because the man usually slept in, or if it was because the activities of last night had been that abundant to drain him of his energy. Once again her cheeks turned purple, albeit a lighter shade this time.

Cautiously she left her room, allowing a long yawn to escape her lips. The shower had mostly woken her up, but a few traces of her sleepy state remained. Slowly she descended the staircase, speeding up her descent on the last few steps, as she felt her stomach rumble. A visit to the kitchens would be fitting she thought, only for her to be met by a human servant. Taking a deep bow in front of her she nodded and was about to leave, before he addressed her.

‘’My lady. Your father has requested your presence, for when you woke up.’’

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
