The Homework of the Sith Lorekeeper

#2
Darth Chaidus Horuset

Darth Horuset, former Dark Lord of House Horuset, succeeded by his son and current Dark Lord of the house, Darth Crannus Horuset.
According to Lord Creiia, their name had lost its power, and the family did not have the spire in which it resides today. Darth Horuset had to, over the course of many years, rebuild his name and the Horusetspire from the ground back up. The Dark Lord succeeded in both, but funny enough never used the spire himself. Instead, he went on to leave the estate behind and join the Isatri Triumvirate, together with his apprentice, Krattus, who is now knows as Darth Krayiss. On this subject Lord Creiia said the following, and I quote: "Once, when he left the estate behind, he planned to purge another order, and so he set out to do so, but the pathetic beings ín the order caught wind of it. He then used his knowledge of them knowing to send his apprentice as his pawn, to attack the order and get caught. As Darth Horuset was called to answer for his crimes against the order, he used his skills and turned most of them to his side. He emerged more powerful and more dangerous, with his newfound  position within the order, and then, over time, he took out all that stood against him and the old ways."
Darth Horuset's granddaughter, our current Lord Saud, said he was the old ways of the Sith incarnate. She deemed him stoic, powerful, ambitious and utterly dedicated to his family, and his strength in both sabercombat and the force was admirable. Darth Horuset his favoured sabefrom was Djem So, it was not explained why. His favourite forcepower was the force choke, it is said he was strong enough to lift two dozen guards and snap their necks with a mere flick of his wrist. He was also the one that let Lord Saud back into the family after the mandatory rite of passage of the Sith species, pulling her out of the Verdoorn powerbase, which she described as "A bunch of weakminded imbeciles that dare call themselves Sith".
Darth Horuset passed away at the age of 259 in a Kaggath with Darth Sylfia Verdoorn, a human female, with whom he clashed as he worked his way up in the Isatri Triumvirate. Darth Verdoorn did not strike the killing blow however, this honour was granted to Darth Zaria, a Sith pureblood female. She struck down Darth Horuset to save him from the disgrace of being killed by Darth Verdoorn, who was considered "new age".

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
