Public Call for Operation Team Assembly
A Good Song Never Dies

As the file is opened the cyan blue image of Apprentice Zotam flickers into view, looking out from under his hood he smiles into the eyes of the viewer before he begins speaking - his smooth and comforting tone emitting from the viewing device.

"The Ancient Sith left many secrets behind, buried and guarded - this has attracted archaeologists and tomb raiders in droves. Unfortunately, whilst we recover a great deal of information for The Empire, a great deal of information is lost to Black Market trade - private dealers illegally obtaining pieces of history to lock away in their own vanity collections."

He tuts and rolls his eyes.

"What a waste! My rambling aside, I have discovered an illegal trade deal on a backwater settlement Krolore. There is a live performance from a band known as 'Rage Against the Senate', seemingly an Anti-establishment band, at the station's local cantina. My contacts tell me that there will be an illegal black market exchange taking place somewhere in the venue. Those who sign up to this task will be provided with tickets to the venue, with the objective of blending in and finding the exchange and discreetly claiming the prize for themselves. Oh, and do try to blend in - no black robes or heavy armour. They'd see you from a mile away."

"For the completion of this mission Acolytes will be offered a lesson in one of the core powers, Imperial soldiers will be issued a reward relevant to their service and any who have passed their trials and have become Sith may request a lesson in an ability of their choosing - within reason."

With that, the transmission ends and the holo-recording closes off.

Location: Krolore
OOC Location: Mek-sha Slugfall Cantina

The Exchange: The exact appearance of those partaking in the deal is unknown, but the package is expected to be in a secure, and old looking, container to protect the fragile contents. Do not open it, or risk destroying the contents.

Primary Objectives: In this mission there will be two primary objectives.
  • Objective 1: Find the exchange.
  • Objective 2: Secure the package and traders involved.

Secondary Objectives: In this mission there will be two secondary objectives.
  • Objective 1: Find information on the broker and his whereabouts.
  • Objective 2: Keep our involvement secret.

Timeframe: The assembled team will have five weeks to complete the mission. (05/01/21)

Estimated Party Size: Only four tickets have been secured for the venue, limiting attendees to that.

Reminder: Assets are NOT to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
