Mission Report

"Sith Vipion asked for a group of Imperials (Sgt. Rennab, Cpls. Carys and Vask, Pvt. Miriadas, and myself) as well as Apprentice Syllel to come to the Rennar Comms Building. We were investigating the escape tunnel utilized by Colonel Manel Scyles and his team, and it was incredibly hairy from the start. The ladder lost a rung, and we spotted multiple mounds below. Mines - the Apprentice and I disarmed them, despite some slight incident, and passed them up to the others. There was then a set of laser tripwires, hooked to various things. After a narrow escape from a double-tripwire, we elected to come back to this with better equipment. It's easiest if I list the traps:
  • 8x Analog Mines (as in an Ion didn't disable them), 1x Detonated, 7x Retrieved
  • 2x Gas Mines(?), 1x Activated (Tear gas), 1x Retrieved (Unknown gas)
  • 3x Laser Tripwires:
-The first to a loaded Slugthrower (the scatter type), set off
-The second unknown, possibly an alarm, still armed
-The third a double-line that activated a barrage of darts with an unknown toxin, barbed for maximum bleed, set off

These were set up both against our ability to easily disarm, as traps for WHEN we disarmed, specifically against people trying to step over instead of disarming one by one... and with Sith in mind. Recommending extreme caution for any follow-up team."

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
