The Taurill invasion, a loathsome creature, another to emerge for the Sith Empire to be affronted with, a hive minded monstrous species that would once again test the military might of this Empire and I as one of its warriors would be forced into confrontation with the creatures, but it matters little, fighting is within my veins as it has been within my ancestors.
Raeniu stood beside a communications relay, in the mountains of Sernpidal along a communications network, the Acolytes and a few Apprentices guarding the upper relay and the superiors guarding the comms hub lower down in the valley. The wind dragged at Raeniu's ponytail, she paced in her red and black leatheris armour with her saber held firmly in her right hand, on the wind she could hear them approaching, the growls and whines of the monsters as the doorstep.
In a moment they were upon her, she brought her red blade to bare, cutting down the nearest Taruill drone as it assailed her, firing lightning into a group before stepping back and slicing down two more that lept for her, their bodies thudding to the ground at her feet as she readied herself for the next assault. They began once more in the same manner they had before, a group of drones assaulting her witch claws and teeth, the front few being taken down swiftly with another burst of lightning from the Neophyte before cutting down the next few who had survived the lightning.
Do these abominations toy with me? I am a warrior of the Sith, worthy enough to fight alongside Trakaton and Hirak...my old shadow hand, If Temekel and Occularis were here, this would certainly be no challenge at all, but we all have our different callings. Surely the others are doing fine if I am able to dispatch these mons-
Raeniu would have her thoughts cut short by the intrusion of pain, she looked down at the source, two pointed claws protruding from her abdomen, before being pulled back out with a jerking motion from the Taurill warrior, she turned around quickly, slicing off its head. Her left hand gripping her stomach as a gasp escaped her lips and tears started to well in her eyes, looking upon the relay tower Taurill were starting to swarm it
Not while I still walk...not while my saber is in my hand, I am a warrior, I am Sith.
Approaching the metal steps of the tower she'd cut down the two closest warriors, both of them hissing in pain as they collapse, Raeniu doesn't make it more than a few steps before letting out a yell of pain as another claw pierces through her right leg and she nearly buckles. Dropping her saber it clatters to the ground and she releases her left hand from her stomach, blood spurting out onto the grated metal at her feet, letting out tears and gasps of pain.
Not here, not to these unworthy creatures...Trakaton, Hirak, Temekel and the others, what weakness will they think of me falling here, no I am a warrior and power runs through my blood, if it is to be spilt here, then all here will pay for it.
Sparks of electricity dance across her hands then up her arms, as death approaches, as Typhojem whispers her name she finds herself bursting with rage and power, letting out a mighty scream as she throws her arms out to her sides, lightning arcing out from both arms, striking all the Taurill who swarm the tower around her, jumping between all of the alien warriors who would see her undone, her golden eyes glowing brighter in her death throws. From all the lightning the Taurill start fusing to the metal frame of the relay tower, slowly twisting to become a macabre monument to the fury of a Sith on deaths door.
Raeniu's roaring would cease as she falls to her knees and the lightning stops, her arms smouldering from the exertion and her fingers charred, falling to the ground the golden glow of her eyes would dim as she lets out a long shallow breath, her blood dripping through the metal grating to the ground below, the sound of the wind was all she could now here as she closed her eyes
The wind...like across the plains of Korriban, the cold...like hiding in the shade of our monuments, Soti..tuti..ri..Vipion...
Her breathing stopped, another motionless body amongst the relay tower, her last breath carried on the winds that remind her of home, simply another fallen warrior of the Empire, not the first and not the last.
