By storming Republic defenses, they can abandon their posts, allowing Imperial forces to advance into enemy territory where hundreds of Imperials would otherwise be lost. This trait, while appearing strong, has a much stronger counterpart. That of being able to boost the morale of your troops. People who fight with conviction in their hearts, fight with such a ferocity that is only seen in Sith and wild animals. To Imperials, we as sith stand as the peak of society. The true power of the Empire. Wherever we are, they know that victory is near. This too can turn the tide of a battle.

A Sith can affect the tide of war in other ways than just affecting the troops. A single Sith has the power to fight for a hundred. Their unique skills allow them to take on missions that a normal imperial cannot. With the force on our side, we are perfectly suited for covert missions. Infiltration and extraction. This is crucial in war, as we can more safely acquire information to our troops so that they know how and when to engage the enemy.
