Public Call For Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage, which would play when selected. The form of Apprentice Rhysand Sekker appeared a moment later in the classical cyan-white hues of a holographic transmission, the electric tinge accentuating some features on the young Pureblood while diminishing others. Rhysand stood with his hands clasped in the small of his back, the long robe over the plating of the Warrior Armour shifting slightly as he stood, sharp copper-gold gaze glowing under the hood even in the holorecording. He’d faintly look to the left and began speaking, his deep voice authoritative and stern.

“Many things make the Empire great. The quality of its military. The conviction of soldiers and citizens alike. The power of the Sith. But perhaps greatest of all in the minds of citizens at home and abroad is its command of information. Information has played a key role in warfare since the Empire’s return: it has guaranteed victory on numerous occasions. Korriban was retaken before the Jedi High Council even knew what happened. The Tingel Arm Campaign saw the Republic outnumbered and outgunned. And the Sacking of Coruscant left the Republic reeling with images of Harrower dreadnoughts over Coruscant. All examples of the Empire’s control and dissemination of information at work.

“I’ve been informed of a Republic propaganda factory; a place where posters, holorecordings, et cetera are created for the use of the Great Enemy. Your task is simple: raid it. Take their equipment for the use of the Powerbase, and… Make it a stunning victory.

“Never Waver; Never Relent..”

With that, the hologram flickered and faded from view, leaving the viewer to access the rest of the provided information.

Operation Name: A Propaganda Victory
Location: Ussanil, Ussanil System, Raioballo Sector, Tingel Arm

Squad:

Ensign Crix Rennab
Sergeant Yalkirs Mays
Apprentice Kalrak Nagaz
Acolyte Thekla Saltaeon

Course of Events:

The operation commenced under the cover of night from a high elevation. Our team descended to a plateau for reconnaissance. We observed the enemy's setup, which included a walker, two guarded entrances, and a tower manned by two base defense personnel using binoculars. The entire enemy encampment was well-lit.

We opted for a ground approach, advancing alternately until we were within effective range for our blaster rifles. Once in a dip in the terrain, where we regrouped for observation, I devised a plan for an assault. It began with me using a grenade attachment on my rifle to take out the two sentries in the tower. Following this, Sergeant Mays, equipped with a jetpack, was to carry Apprentice Kalrak to the walker to neutralize it. Meanwhile, Acolyte Thekla was to advance either by flight by Mays or by charging.

As the walker suddenly became active, we initiated our attack. I eliminated the two sentries with the grenade, and Mays, with Kalrak, swiftly incapacitated the walker. Thekla started her advance while I moved to an alternate firing position to cover her approach. Once the enemy was subdued, our objective was to breach the enemy fortifications. Mays used a breaching charge, allowing us entry to engage in close combat.

Upon clearing the room, Mays executed an enemy combatant encountered by Thekla. Facing another door, we utilized another breaching charge. As we blew the door open, Mays threw in a fragmentation grenade. Despite continued enemy fire, I deployed a tear gas grenade, and Mays threw two more grenades until silence ensued.

Upon entering, we found all enemies neutralized. They appeared to be non-regular forces, pictures attached of them. We discovered a ramp leading to another door. Both Mays and I were out of breaching charges. We inquired with Thekla if she sensed any more life forms nearby; she detected six in the lower door.

While seeking explosives to create another charge, I maintained a defensive position as Thekla activated an astromech droid. She engaged with it briefly before shooting it, just as the lower door opened, signaling the enemy's counter-offensive. I opened fire, neutralizing one opponent before being hit by a flashbang. Disoriented, I retreated until the effects subsided.

Mays and Thekla were engaged in combat by this time. Once recovered, I reinforced them, helping neutralize several enemies and taking down the final target threatening Thekla. With the area secure and all opponents confirmed eliminated, we located the propaganda materials.

We called for transport, secured the materials, and exfiltrated to a safe area for extraction and return.

Mission Objectives:

Secure enemy propaganda material intact - Success
Leave no survivors - Success

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
