Operation: A Harvest of Prowlers - Report
Operation Team:
Apprentice Vaera Vipion
Acolyte Lyrissa Elvarthane
Sergeant Kienix 'Honour' - Beast Handler (ML)
Objectives:
Primary Objective Aurek: Infiltrate the warehouse and capture the Lurkers - COMPLETE
Secondary Objective Aurek: Do not reveal your identity as Sith - COMPLETE
Priority Information:
The Lurkers that were held inside two different pens were both collected unharmed and in a healthy state judging by a very brief inspection with only our eyes.
Per my decision, I released all the other animals caged away in the revolting hands of the cartel so they could not only cause chaos and give us an easy escape but also take their revenge on the abusive vermin. Vine Cats, a Reek and possibly a Gundark were released alongside a towering Drouk that began to pummel the compound and devour the criminal filth as we made our escape.
I mocked a Gungan's voice, who of which seemed to be bullied by its peers, as the cause of the chaos; the Empire's involvement shall never be discovered.
Full Report:
Upon touchdown on Nal Yeshu's soil, the team first scouted out the surrounding area via the use of Electrobinoculars before even deciding to make our approach. We would have spotted our target's compound, along side sentries stationed on the main entrance, as well as our future access point in that of a hole in the outer compound's wall that was "covered" up by nothing but boards. Leading on, the team came across a small bridge that loomed above a small stream. I had the team venture underneath it as we continued to scout. A probe droid could then be spotted soaring through the air and heading in our direction. It would soon pass and wander into the distance for now. However, upon now knowing the use of probe droids, I had myself and the Acolyte smother ourselves in the cold mud of Nal Yeshu in the hopes of somewhat protecting us from thermal captures that the probe droids no doubt held.
Continuing onwards, myself and the Acolyte find ourselves against the bark of a thick tree close to the compound and, more specifically, the hole in the outer wall. I had the Acolyte try to pull away the boards with the use of the Force but that unfortunately proved futile. Instead, the Acolyte managed to sneak her way up to the boards while I acted as overwatch. She then got to work by removing just enough of the boards for us both to fit through. Upon her confirmation that the other side was clear, I made my way to re-group with her, pulling a board over the entrance point to disguise our entry. We were now faced with a gate guarded by some revolting Gungan that surprisingly knows how to stand upright on all fours let alone carry a fire-arm.
After some discussing, and the Gungan almost hearing us, the Acolyte and I made our approach to the gate. She managed to snap the neck of the creature, killing it swiftly and efficiently, as I opened the gate and allowed us through. I went to hide the body, removing a comms unit from the corpse of the animal before we were forced to hide once more due to a patrolling security detail. Once the detail left, the Acolyte hid the body under some old vehicle which proved to be a good idea rather than some cover later down the line. We continued on a little further until we spotted the sight of a hover-lift. After checking if it was clear, we made our way over and managed to find ourselves upon the roof of a large one-story building in the centre of the compound. In the time it took for us to reach the roof, I managed to cause some disarray between the guardsmen by having the Gungan irritate them for its supposed "cowardice" when it was no longer stationed upon its post.
On the roof now, myself and the Acolyte had access to both a hatch and windows that allowed us to peer inside the centre building. This is where we spotted a plethora of things ranging from the towering Drouk, a transport vehicle, five guards, more cages and what appears to be a security room. The Acolyte now heralded us down the hatch, taking cover behind some crates as one of the guardsmen overlooked the others and the Drouk from a balcony. After having the Acolyte ensure the room before the guard was clear, we both managed to take down the unsuspecting guard with efficiency. We then dragged the dead and rather heavy guard inside the security room. The Acolyte went to investigate the controls whereas I began to search the dead Gamorrean guard.
The Acolyte managed to disable all of the cameras, after she used it to gauge guard positions exactly on the inside, before she attempted to connect to it via a data pad. Two droids stopped her in this but did not engage her in combat. Simply removed the cord from the data pad. After taking down the droids, I closed the door to the security room as the Acolyte finished connecting. Once she was done, a comms unit on a desk started to flair. It was a guard asking for their boss, which turned out to be the Gamorrean guard we had just killed prior. After I squealed over the comms to the guard, I managed to lure them inside where the Acolyte quickly disposed of them.
There were now three more targets on the inside. We devised a strategy before we then got into our positions. The Acolyte seemingly managed to kill the third target without raising any alarm in the others or even myself as I did not even know about her fresh kill. Once she and I were in position, I fired the only bolt I ever took throughout this entire mission and took down a target with my bowcaster while the Acolyte managed to eliminate hers. A quick and synchronised takedown had us go entirely undetected. After preparing the transport to both load and leave, the Acolyte beginning the tranquilisation process and loading them in empty cages, we eventually made our escape.
I may or may not of released all of the animals, except for our targets, to cause chaos and blamed the escape on the Gungan by actively stating over their comms that "You-sa suffer me-sa wrath now!" No trace of the Empire's involvement were found as we made our escape. The Drouk ravaged the compound but I believe it may of been felled. However, I high have hopes that the Vine Cats, alongside the others, managed to pick off a few more.
End Report
Additional Comment(s):
Acolyte Elvarthane worked extraordinarily; keeping our presence concealed was my main concern and she quelled the concern almost instantly. She followed given orders to the letter as well as her prowess in assassination and overall stealth in general caught me off-guard somewhat.
