The Sith opened her eyes and found herself under the sky of Kaas. She recognised this place, it was ... home. But it wasn't quite right.
It wasn't quite right. Words to die by.
Why was she naked? Why couldn't she feel the breeze on her skin? It wasn't until then that the scene filtered in. Her home. Her haven, the place she built with her husband, was burning. Corpses were littering the ground all around her. A child cries out. A mother responds, she follows the familiar cry of anguish, her son, needed her right now. The rest mattered little. She pushed through the dense fog, lit up by fire, as a figure daned before her.
Temekel.
"Master, I... need help, my family, my home, it is bu... Master!" The figure starts disappearing, obscured by the fog again, swallowed by it. "Don't...leave me...", she pleads to no avail. Desperation starts to set in as the crying of a child sounds out again, leading her onwards into that dark night.
Rhave and Valeus.
Rhave is standing before her, cradling a crying child. He speaks: "You failed us."
She retorts: "I haven't, I am here, I will protect us, I ..."
The Assistant-Sorceror shakes his head, shielding the babe from her view. "You said you were in control, that you wouldn't endanger us or yourself further. I would have fixed you!" The man sounds angry, raising his voice.
Despite his smaller stature than the muscular amazoness, she seemed to shrink at those words.
She did fail them. She failed them all.
The sorceror lifted his hand and spoke an incantation. Dark tendrils sprouted from the earth and clung onto the Assistant-Blademaster's limbs. She was forcefully bound and her voice faltered, a scream muffled into nothingness as she had an out of body experience. Looking down upon herself, caught in a web of corruption. And soon the mist enveloped even her own body.
And then...
It would all start over again. Into perpetuity.
It wasn't quite right. Words to die by.
