Apprentice
[Excerpts copied from a transcript of messages: Zartilda Varrixon, concerning the entity known as "Dark Edge"]

"Just to the southwest of Building 18 is this round power... thing. Cylindrical. On the east end, there was a pile of four limbs and a man impaled on two crappy swords. Now there's only one crappy sword and a blood trail out of the city.

The individual challenged us with a blade made of subpar metal, likely bought from some "vintage" store, in a round hat and a trenchcoat. He went down instantly to Lightning. After seeing the sheer amount of... alien paraphernalia just on the walls and some young, and the contents of his terminal which you could not even torture me for, I deemed this man an affront to existence.

The House has encountered a Gendai before that regenerated limbs, and I know of Shi'ido having extra body mass when you remove limbs. The man may not even know of this, that he was either.

Apprentices Vaera and Faelice are my witnesses, both of which should be easy to contact as part of the Immortus or Vipion spheres."

"If it is at all relevant, he's looking for some short alien named Keevan? Something about stealing a girl."

Scouting report: I've figured out how one can access the rooftops without the Force, and without busting in doors or using climbing gear.

A: There's a bit of maneuvering, but one can jump onto a large awning. As long as they're careful, they can make their way along to the set of rooftops.
B: This offers views of the north, west, and east, as well as has access to an overhang bridge between B and C. Plenty of security vantages.
C: More vantage, and right above the hospital. Good for keeping secure.
D: Another high vantage, a bridge-like structure south. It gets dicey from here, climbing along some pipes and the like, but it leads to E.
E: An unparalleled vantage of the northern Market, and the intersection.

All of this should be accessible in heavier gear, provided a minimum of risk and a decent balance. Of note, I did manage to go north of B and climb across some wings of a ship, but that's not viable for our men since I needed Jump and some Inertia - still, it gives a good vantage of the northern area, on top of our generator building.

Mosila - Initial Landing

Mission Objectives:

OBJECTIVE 1: Secure the market place sector

Strike Team Besh:
Sith Leive
Sith Vipion
Sith Sarias
Sith Vi'Kas
Apprentice Naile
Apprentice Vaera
Apprentice Syllel
Apprentice Mos
Apprentice Faelice

Report:

The landing went smooth, as well as approaching our designated sector to secure. As the team arrived Sith Vipion and Sith Leive rushed to the Police building to secure it. Sith Sarias and Apprentice Naile and Apprentice Vaera swiftly maneuvered to the other side of the sector to cut off any civilians from escaping. As this happened some civilians wanted to profit from the situation and started robbing market stands, storefronts and the likes. Sith Vipion gave the direct order to kill any of those looters and profiteers. Apprentice Naile, Apprentice Vaera and Apprentice Mos followed immediately to kill any of those mentioned before. Apprentice Syllel joined but disobeyed this direct order by instead trying to stun or disable them for the moment which Apprentice Mos swiftly rectified by executing them as the order given was. As Apprentice Mos moved to check on Sith Vi'Kas who was securing a building we received a comm call by one of the other strike teams where Apprentice Syllel disregarded Seniority and hijacked the channel to answer before any of the Household Sith could answer themselves. As Apprentice Mos went to exit the building and secure the rest it appeared Apprentice Syllel went out of our area, after inquiring about her location on the strike team comms she answered that she left to check on the cantina which was out of our sector. It was made clear to her that she left our sector and the buildings assigned to our group weren't all secured yet to which no further response was made, disregarding the plan made by the conservancy. The rest of the buildings were taken over quickly with minor resistance by the rest of the strike team and finally secured.

Addendum:
After the speech on the Th'Asidra from the conservancy about obedience and following orders it was highly troubling to see Apprentice Syllel so soon after blatantly disregard orders and plans and act on her own judgement. For the future I'd recommend that she is not to be used for highly sensitive missions and at best under surveillance on deployments.

Anx Minor Deployment Week 1

SUBJECT: After Action Report

INTRODUCTION:

The mission into investigating the sewers for activities of smugglers ended in a success. The team discovered multiple secret compartments, a tunnel network, and evidence to suggest our storehouses are being robbed.

Summary:

The following is regarding the incident itself.

Deployed Location: Planet Anx Minor

Deployed Personnel: Apprentices Zartilda, Charsette, and Syllel

Duration of Deployment: [14-03-23]

Details of Operation:

Our mission into the sewers to find traces of smuggler activity was a monumental success. Apprentices Zartilda, Charsette, and Syllel investigated three chambers hidden within the sewers. The first was a hidden docking bay, meant for receiving smuggler's ships in secret and offloading their cargo. This room also had connection points to tunnels which stretched out further than we could explore, due to their collapse. Likely from the mining activity that was occurring planetwide.

The second room was a storage room, likely a repository for goods however it was quite barren. This was likely due to it evacuated before, during, or immediately after initial occupation, likely out of a tunnel that stretched from the room eastwards. What was left were crates of metal scraps, ingots, electrical components, and a singular rusted droid. This droid is currently in the possession of Charsette as she and apprentice Syllel work to restore functionality and to plumb its databases for further information.

The last room was occupied by some survivors who had been living within the tunnels. After a brief discussion as of their nature the survivors were removed and a through investigation of the room took place. Here the group discovered pilfered grains and a distillery. All stocks were completely rotted, having long since been disused.

After the mission was accomplished we found two more hidden tunnel segments that were previously undiscovered and have updated the House Horuset mapping services to add the new information into the sewer records. It has also been determined that a smuggler named Cal, a blonde corellian woman with notable height and burn marks, is the most recent user of the smuggling tunnels but not their original creators.

Comments:

- Metal ingots, electrical components, grains, and alcohol were among the smuggler's goods. Suggested infiltration of blackmarket to find supplier.

-The smuggler tunnels are likely still in use as some of the tunnels opened up where recent escapees have been spotted. It is suggested that these tunnels either be patrolled or collapsed to prevent an exodus or republic infiltration.

- The Corellian going by the name of Cal could have information on local official's weaknesses and/or exploitable vices. It is recommended to track them down as part of an effort to stomp out crime along with using whatever knowledge she had as a tool to expedite cooperation or encourage resistant officials to turn coat, provided they have ties to unsavoury activities.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
