Report: Crowd Control

Report:
Upon request of Lord Kalkoran we were debriefed on a situation regarding a riot and several targets that required extracting. These targets were prisoners. Upon arrival, the entire ward and prison was overtaken by inmates as was reported. With us were Privates Geskar, Tan, Tib, Specialist Quinton and Captain Igneel. Before we made our way into the prison we went by protocol and call signs. McCarthy was aiding us from affar and guiding us through te prison wards. We came upon a group of prisoners and took them out as silent as possible before moving further down into the ward. We did some recon and noticed that Imperial Soldiers were taken captive and beaten by the first Redshirt we encounterd, several Orange shirts watched this ordeal.

When we engaged in combat, we took a few hits but it wasn't threatening. The Redshirt managed to toss a Detonator or two in, however they malfunctioned. Upon his retreat, we captured him, and let one of the surviving Imperials take him back to the ship. We moved further without issue till the point inside one of the tunnels. I spotted several coming our way and I order to backtrack and take up ambush positions. Two of them were taken out and we came to the conclusion to take their uniforms to blend in with the prisoners so we could get to the Security station. This idea came from Private Geskar who I want to add did a fantastic job, hoping he could receive some form of Commendation.

As we made our way past the prisoners, the were beeing riled up by our priority target, a Republic lacky who seemd to promise them santuary and a clean slate. We were faced with two security guards at the Security station, they were taken out quickly and we tried securing the room as well. Private Geskar was wounded during this action and is beeing treated in the Medbay for his wounds. I managed to patch him up enough on the ride back to avoid infection of the wound and lessen the stress on the flesh and muscles.

After securing the room Private Geskar activated the turrets, at the time were were not aware where Private Tan was as she seemed to have not been able to keep up with the group, or took the wrong position. She was told to hit the deck once the turrets would open fire, however from what I could see as I took position to take out our Priority target, she failed to do so and aimed to stand up and fire in a chaotic crowd. The target was secured, however the Republic was sending reinforcements to the Prison and we had to be quick to extract our targets whom are now in custody. The State of the prison is unknown since our departure and we are unware if any Republic forces are inside it currently.

Signed,

Specialist C, Quinton

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
