Makashi small report.
Makashi's use against Shii-Cho.
It protects the main body in rapid arcs and body motions. In forms where a person's physical attributes are key, this form is made more dangerous by the people using it. It requires a person of Keen Intellect with a sense of timing to make this a truly monstrous form.
Where Shii Cho is double handed, broad, blatant and relies on the whole arm and forward motion, Makashi is one handed, precise, subtle, and relies on wrist control and body movement which borderes on dancing.
This is why Makashi overpowers Shii-cho, where Makashi has freedom of mobility, Shii-cho has more restrictions when it comes to footwork. Though all Forms stem from Form 1, all have counters to each Form, this is heavily shown in Makashi versus Shii-cho.
