Report: Search, Retrieve, Destroy in Tatooine, by Apprentice Orgkez

#1
<<This file would be accessible only to the upper echelons of the House Horuset powerbase>>
From Apprentice Orgkez

Here follows a detailed report on the Tatooine Mission protracted by the Apprentices Adilea, myself, Vax, Flavian as per procedure. Formed up by Lord Sanguinis, the group thus set towards Tatooine.
The Mission
An abandoned vault was located in the Jundland Wastes of Tatooine, with potential artifacts inside.
The primary objective was thus that of gaining access into the vault in any way possible and loot it of all it contained.
The secondary objective was of course that of destroying the vault- leaving nothing but ruins in its stead.
The Setup
The group quickly formed and prepared, departing towards Tatooine and proceeding to prepare ahead before further proceeding towards the Vault's coordinates. Apprentice Adilea and myself were discussing which approach to take, for what were the informations at hand the Vault was supposed to be abandoned and thus we were to expect no resistance- yet I was just about to suggest a potential splitting into two groups in order to approach the Vault from two sides and thus catch any unlikely presence in between our force when Apprentice Flavian, unwilling to plan ahead, spotted another group.
The Confrontation
By then, planning was not feasible anymore. They had spotted our numbers as we had spotted theirs. Light sided presences, all Jedi and, as we came to learn the hard way, all skilled in the martial arts. We thus all agreed on meeting them head on with the intention to eliminate their presence so that we could proceed. In the initial confrontation that insued, the Jedi, as per their norm, offered us a chance to retreat and then, when we refused- the real battle ensured.
In the few moments that passed before sabers clashed, a certain Jedi with potential rank above the others commanded the others in facing us. Thus the four versus four was streamlined into four different duels that, at times, mixed.
Jedi Vroso, a Zabrak, was pitted against Apprentice Adilea. For what she gathered during her duel, he is quite skilled in the use of Telekinesis as well as hiding his presence through assumedly the Dampening ability. Regarding his main Form- such was not able to be noted as the combat hardly was one of melee confrontation if not for brief moments in which Apprentice Adilea managed to scar the Zabrak's eye. Apparently, he was not too content of being bested by a female- a factor that could be used against him, if proven true. His saber is equipped with a yellow crystal.
Jedi Rai, a Human of pale complexion and blonde hair, was sent against Apprentice Flavian. For what he gathered during his duel, he is a passive and defensive frontliner whose focus is also in bladework, apparently. He fights with a single saber and seems mostly proficient in Form III and possibly else, but the only other ability used was Telekinesis. His saber is equipped with a green crystal.
Jedi Bek, a Human of pink complexion and brown hair, was sent against myself. For what I gathered during our duel- he is an aggressive frontliner whose focus is mostly into bladeswork. He fights with a single saber and seems proficient in Form IV and Force Speed- taking at great lengths the quick attacks that the aggressive form offers. His saber is equipped with a blue crystal.
The assumedly more experienced Jedi, a human, fought against Apprentice Vax. His saber is equipped with a blue crystal. (Soon to be updated)
The Outcome
Bested by the Jedi prowess in bladeswork against our two duelists, one vibrosword armed and myself out of my element- we were forced to retreat from the zone with little accomplished if not some wounds inflicted, and many others sustained mostly by Apprentice Vax who seemed to have faced the strongest Jedi of their lot. The area was then swarmed by Sand People attracted by the sounds of battle- leaving the Vault's state unknown.
Considering the Jedi were not yet tired and hardly wounded, it might be possible that they have proceeded to fight back the Sand People and claim the Vault's contents for themselves, or they too have decided in retreating in favor of another better future attempt.
With this, the report is concluded.
Our mission has failed, yet this was but a mere setback.

This report's access is limited, but feel free to check it out OOCly nonetheless.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
