[The Force]

Philosophy:
For the longest time the force has existed as a persistent enigma to the scholars, philosophers and scientists of the galaxy. Those that study this ethereal presence note of its nature as being omnipresent and omnipotent, with it's influence being found in all that we know; from the development of civilizations to the very evolution of our species. It, of course, manifests at different levels depending on some sort of unknown factor we have yet to decipher. However we know that there is a specific threshold to be met before an organism can use the power of the force in any meaningful way - this is the reason that force users and non force users exist.
This is not to say that there aren't components of the force that we cannot make reasonable conjectures on. The basic premise that force sensitivity can be increased or the threshold for sensitivity met more often via selective breeding, gives strong evidence to the idea that an element of the force is genetic to some degree. Despite not justifying it's presence in inanimate objects, it is the only reasonable use of logic before resorting to the explanation of destiny or the force itself having a consciousness of it's own to decide such things. I find myself pondering on what is present outside of biology that gives this aura of the force. Allow me to offer an alternative question, is it perhaps intertwined within the fabric of space itself? Acting as an incorporeal or metaphysical wellspring, with such genetic factors deciding on how much of that wellspring we can draw upon? I do not know, nor do we currently possess the capabilities of finding out.
Moving on from abstract theories, we come across two sides of a coin, the Dark and Light sides of the force. In which I will primarily be talking about the Dark side due to its counterparts incredibly apparent flaws as an ideology. The Dark side is the truest expression of the force, utilizing the emotions present in sentient beings to strive for freedom and perfection. In essence, it strives to use the force as closely related to how the force actually exists, as a perfect entity - in face of the reality that perfection itself is impossible. Instead trying to be as close to the idea as can be. It is important to note that utilizing the dark side itself is not one in the same as being a Sith. Although being a Sith does indeed mean utilization of it. A classical example of logic equivalences, in this case A not necessarily implying B, yet B always implying A. This is why there is a distinct difference between that of a Sith and that of a Dark Jedi. With the Sith being the purest definition of the dark side and thus being able to use it to it's true extent.
Upon consideration one might imagine the Dark Side as the intended state of the force due to it's focal point being that of emotional freedom. The Jedi seek to restrict what is the natural order of all sentient beings - that of passion and thus the emotions that come with them. By embracing the Dark Side the user embraces the freedom to be how the force has created them, hence why it's triumphs over its lesser twin. I find it ironic, in fact, that the Jedi despise Sith Alchemy for "going against the natural order" yet their creed itself is fixated on doing the same thing. Just one of many flaws present in their contradictory mantra and beliefs.
Further pedantic investigation of the philosophical sides divulge into categories created by Scholars of the force. Acting as a sort of divergent organisation to it's details. Two primary categories consisting of; the Living Force and the Physical Force. In which the prior detailed how the force is connected to all living beings, one birthing the other. In such we are created by the force just as much as the force is created by us. The latter category is the much simpler Physical force, which details the interactions with the force physically. Such as manipulating objects around you and thus linking to the Alter force tree which I will explain in more detail further into this document.
Alter:
This tree consists of abilities that project and manipulate energy or the force around you for, usually, disastrous effects. Such ability examples consist of: force lightning, force push/pull, force wound and so on.
Control:
This tree's theme centers around the control of one's own body and mind. Such ability examples consist of: Tapas, Thought Shield, Tutaminis and so on. Rumors say that progress of this tree can even increase the lifespan of the user beyond the natural limits.
Sense:
These techniques are based more so around the Living Force and the environment. Such ability examples consist of: Telepathy, Force Sense, Force Sight and so on.
Last notes:
To know the Force, or more specifically the Dark Side, one must study both it's practical and philosophical uses and meaning. To truly understand - to truly appreciate the Dark Side, you must educate yourself in it's beauty. I am personally eager to indulge in at least the basic knowledge of Alchemy and Sorcery. Perhaps not practically, due to the limitations set by Horuset on my blood. But certainly the theory. Know first and foremost that the Force is not sentient, it is a tool for us to use and enact our will with. Such is the way of the Sith Code. Such is the way of the Dark Side.

[The Sith Code]

Origin:
Genesis of the code dates back to the era of the Jedi Exiles and their transformation into Lords of the Sith. Roughly between 3,247 BTC to 3,347 in which the Exile Ajunta Pall met the natives of Korriban and defeated their King in combat to become the first foreign Lord of the Sith. To not enthrall this document with the grand history of that time, I will detail more specifically the way the code was created.
Sorzus Syn. One of the twelve exiles; studious and cunning. After arriving upon Korriban it was noted that the great sith examined the habits and traditions of the ancient sith on the planet to study the dark side in it's purest form. The Pureblooded Sith species. Having evolved in the Dark aura of Korriban a planet incredibly strong with the dark side, the sentient species became the epiphany of the dark side incarnate. The Exiles, more specifically Sorzus Syn, recognized this with exceptional interest due to which she took to investigating their culture and abbreviating it down to a respected mantra to follow. The Sith Code. Detailed in the Book of the Sith her personal diary produced before her death. In making it digestible lines to follow, it taught the foreigners how to utilize the Dark Side to it's full extent - following the example set by the Purebloods. Note that the Sith Code was not taken from Sith texts or words, for they did not need the code - they already embodied it naturally. It was in their very blood, to them that was no different than breathing.
Meaning:

Peace is a lie, there is only passion

Through passion, I gain strength

Through strength, I gain power

Through power, I gain victory

Through victory, my chains are broken

The force shall free me

Peace is a lie, there is only passion -
At face value people see this as a galactic peace - no wars and general acceptance of rules. This is not particularly what it is referring to, instead, it refers to that of inner peace. Tranquility within ones soul is indeed impossible, for so long as passion exists within the consciousness of sentient beings then so do emotions and thus conflict. The drive to enact your passions upon reality acting as a constant internal conflict that indeed sometimes matures into an actual conflict. Some go as far as to speculate that the Jedi's acute focus on peace is their attempt to subvert the eyes of fools with blind hope. A fabrication used to control the masses - yet I am more willing to believe it is their simple ignorance more so. Their idealist nature is a toxin to the galaxy that we must weed out for the sake of the greater good.
Through passion, I gain strength -
The strive to enact our will on reality - passion. This is what keeps us from stagnation. A constant growth towards more and more that allows us to draw strength from. Emotions, sparked from passion, act as a pool for us to cup our hands in and draw upon the fountain of the Dark Side. Such is strength, individual power. Whether that is combative or political.
Through strength, I gain power -
Having determined the idea of strength it's important to link such to that of power. Power- true power, is the ability to enact your enforce your will both indirectly and directly. To know what you wish and achieve it. You see, by demonstrating your "strength" you likewise inspire that of fear and worship upon those lesser than you. You gain followers. You gain a powerbase. Once you have mastery over yourself in the form of strength, you now have the capabilities to claim mastery over those around you.
Through power, I gain victory -
Moving on we come to victory; a rather personalized term. To some this may entail victory in the efforts to enact their will on the galaxy freely. To others, it is application of your previous power - or the independence gained in totality to leave you no longer reliant on those around you. To me victory is whatever I desire it to be. Such is my view. If i wish it so that I apply victory to combat, it will be done. If I wish victory within politics, it will be done. If I wish victory of independence, it will be done. To apply a definitive term to victory is to deny it's right to be subjective.
Through victory, my chains are broken -
The chains that bind others no longer apply to you. Only via domination of your victory will freedom be guaranteed and the ability to enact your will be completely unrestricted. The prospect of chains can symbolize many a thing, it can be the doubt placed on yourself, the chains of superiors cast on you, or even your very species itself. To be free of the chains of your genetics is indeed possible for followers of the Dark Side of the force. Though you have only tasted freedom and must not lose it. Those below will nip upon your heels, in which you will fear for the loss of your newly found power. Use that fear as a source of strength and passion to constantly grow, constantly expand and squash those underneath you. Stagnation is death.
The force shall free me -
Ascension to that of a higher sense - this constant tempering towards perfection is a gift from the Dark Side. Take note and understand this greatly. The goal of all sith is to achieve perfection, with the recognition that it is impossible. In such we place ourselves in a feedback loop of constant growth - in where we ascend beyond our peers and are free from the ignorance of those without the Dark Side.

Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha

(For those knowledgeable in the Sith language, the prior text roughly translates to that of the Sith Code)

Last notes:
The Sith Code, at heart, is a perversion to the Jedi Code - it is the greatest insult to their beliefs and a revelation to the unenlightened of the Light Side's flaws. It acts as a guideline for those truly devoted to the ways most akin to the Dark Side. Though it's true meaning and philosophical idea will be of incessant consideration to me, something I will be constantly updating should I feel like a more accurate depiction of it is enlightened to me in some form or another. I am curious to see the evaluations of it from the perspectives of different sith across the powerbase and outside. Although unless I feel particularly moved by their explanation, to the point it makes me doubt my own beliefs, I will be hesitant to correct my understanding so swiftly.

For now I leave you with the words spoken by the Dark Lord herself,
Never waver, Never relent.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
