[IC] The Standings.

#1
"One truly doubts one will ever finish this document, however... It will be something one will find most useful in the years to come. Afterall, one has found oneself placed here, within the Sphere of Logistics and within a powerbase that vilifies progressive attitudes in an attempt to hold true to the more ancient ways of our proud Empire. As such it is... prevalent that one keeps track of those pure of blood in order to learn the true ways of this powerbase, and so as not to make steps that are not "out of place" within the herd like mentality that afflicts those of lesser birth. So as to avoid foregone conclusions, rumor, and the misplaced thoughts of any that speak their ill informed opinions, I will base this purely off of the sights of my own eyes, so as not to sully these documents with the debased lies of the alien, the falsities of the traitor, and the blasphemies of the heretic."

- Syto Versune, Heir to House Virsune, Acolyte of the Sith, follower of the Old Ways.

Of the Pure:

Lord Saud - Ahandra Horuset: places even above Lord Tokiai.
One can simplify Lord Saud to one word - Captivating. While her partner is commanding, Lord Saud is... Something entirely else. Her choice of words, no.. her... choice of everything, down to the placement of the last strand of hair upon her head is undoubtedly entirely on intent. One could study her for a thousand days, and a thousand days again and still only manage to scrape the surface of Ahandra Horuset. She has understood entirely what Lord Virsune plans - the moment one explained ones reason for being present, she saw exactly his plan for what it was. Should she apply her intellect to the political arena, given her direct blood link to Darth Horuset himself, one would not be surprised to discover that it is the machinations of Lord Saud that truly pull the strings of the Horuset Powerbase. As an aside - her declination of offering a challenge is a challenge in its own right - One will accept it, or perish.

Lord Tokiai: stands tall above them - bar his wife.
Physically, as well as figuratively he is an impressive example of what it is to be both Sith and Pure of Heritage. He has a commanding presence, and one suspects it is not merely from his title. Should one be correct in ones musings, he is also of the noble House Vipion, but one will endeavor to uncover this without the necessity to ask him directly.

Zephra Aeros: A true traditionalist.
While some of her peers have been found... wanting, Zephra is one that is in line with the traditionalist ways of the household. Like oneself she is the heir to her bloodline - one that is in vassalage to House Horuset. Indeed, she is even to be wed to one of Darth Horuset's bloodline. One cannot say one is not envious - to have such a binding is politically favorable, and places her in high stead. Due to her... Zealous nature, understanding of the old ways, rank, and impending marriage, one must consider her above that of Aregra - although that may change should Lord Kalkoran's wife raise her position to that of apprentice.

Aregra Kalkoran: sits below Tokiai, but ahead of the others.
While one has come to the understanding that she is but a Neophyte of the Powerbase, she is none the less a respectable individual, who is evidently well versed enough to stand among those who would otherwise consider themselves her better. One is also keenly aware of her positioning as the wife of one Lord Kalkoran - although one is yet to meet him, that she could do such a thing while being so.. lowly within the ranks speaks volumes for her ability in the political arena, although she nowhere in the league of Lord Saud. One finds it interesting that she holds this standing, but also seeks to learn the so called diplomats form.

Jen'kaar Vipion: The apprentice of Lord Saud.
With only a short bit of information to go off, Lord Saud's apprentice stands above that of many - bar those mentioned thus far by virtue of her rank, her blood, and having the ear of her master. One suspects she has an odd sense of humor - and this is evidenced to some extent by her treatment of Apprentice Vaenra. She is also of a twisted nature. One does not have to be in her presence long to understand that she is of a dangerous mind, and although we are kin through distant blood (afterall, all of ones species shares common ancestry) one finds it difficult to level a great deal of trust in one who's eyes are of such a deceitful nature.

Vaenra: stands unsteady among those of pure heritage.
One unwillingly places the Apprentice, Vaenra, on this list above the Acolytes. It is by virtue of her rank, and her rank alone, for one has borne witness to her take public humiliation from an alien, of all things. One senses she brings shame upon her household, whoever they might be - especially given that she mistook herself for an Acolyte. It is also prevalent to note that her... knowledge of her own kin seems... Well. She is under the impression that one who is pure of heritage cannot perform more acrobatic feats. While she is hardly the size of a Massassi, one would think she would find it prevalent to cease the abuse of her cutlery if she is finding it difficult to move in a more nimble manner. On an aside - one has noticed she is incapable of looking after her attire. One wonders what else she is incapable of- other than ceasing the abuse of a fork near a cake buffet.

Syto Versune: Myself.
One must always measure where one is in regards to ones competition.

Raisil: Lacking notoriety.
An Acolyte. There is little to say about this one, as one knows many like him. He has yet to do anything of note, or make moves of which have had any real ramifications on his political standings within the powerbase.

Of the Alien:

Aljo: One was not aware that Darth Horuset allowed his pets to carry lightsabers.
Any creature that raises itself from the disability of their birth into the echelons of the Order, progresses through their time as an Acolyte and then survives that to become Sith is a creature that can be considered of note - and dangerous  (although almost certainly mentally handicapped and deeply limited in the level of intelligence they might perhaps have reached had they had a more noble birthright). Yet it is clear she still fights for her place within the Powerbase - after all, inflicting oneself on those who sit below you by virtue of rank is a sign of insecurity of ones position, and her insistence on being consistently vile is evidence of an ongoing attempt to prove oneself and "score points". That said, she has verbally chastised the Apprentice Vaenra with no repercussions... So one will tread carefully around this particular alien.

Leive: Were the Horuset slaves allowed to breed?
Vile. Truly. It thinks itself of interest, when in fact it is about as interesting as listening to the sound of ones bowel movements on a thirty eight hour loop.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
