Tandankin Espionage

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Lord Saltaeon's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. She would be stood with arms by her side, one resting on her hip, the custom-fit plates of the armour looking intimidating in their bulk, a cloak falls off her shoulders to the ground. A gun metal helmet with deep and black eyes stare into the recorder. She clears her throat before speaking into the recording device:

"The Imperial war effort is driven by the great industries we have built over decades. At our heart is Dromund Kalakar, along with Sernpidal and Tandankin shipyards to assist in the demands of war. The shipyards of Tandankin have famously rivalled Sernpidal, and they now believe they have taken the lead. The development of the Ravager-Model MK-IX Turbolaser is a notable increase in ship based firepower, that all sources indicate that Tandankin intend to keep the design to themselves to allow for ships produced in their yards to be considered the premium and modern options. Sernpidal cannot be allowed to fall behind with this development. A team must infiltrate the Tandankin shipyards and retrieve data or schematics for the new weapons, without detection."

With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided. If you are uncertain you may reach out to me before hand to discuss what is possible."

Operation: Tandankin Espionage

Mission objectives:
- Retrieve production data for the weapon and do not get caught

Mission Participants:
Apprentice Vayek Vipion (lead)
Apprentice Rhave Vipion
Neophyte Esme Roi
Acolyte Zirion Arvanis

Mission Progression:
Our mission group opted to act as inspectors to the Tandankin shipyard. Myself piloting on the journey. Rhave and I acted as sith apprentices on the mission of a lord and Roi dressed up as an imperial captain. Being persuasive enough our inspection was said to be in the interest of the lord, who we named "Zeva", and his powerbase. The shipyard personnel issued us clearance cards and let us tour the assembly lines. I managed to overhear some of the technicians speaking of new command codes for their isolated terminal system for the restricted blueprints. We managed to act the part with authority over the imperials and they acknowledged us in turn after the proper encouragement. Rhave were of great help in influencing their minds to our will.

Rhave preoccupied the supervising Captain while the rest of us went to try retrieve the schematics. He reported to have found out that the facility is a well run one. Their in-house designers are responsible for building the new weapon. They might be worth abducting in the future for the powerbase's own productions. Additionally that their security is somewhat relaxed. He also notes that the captain in charge is easily manipulated, if one manages to appeal to his ego. The facility seems to be under one Darth Tzerkus Klagevus, apparently a rather influential lord within the Ministry of Production and Logistics. It appears that he has has a vested interest in the Tandankin Shipyard as a whole, we believe him to be the superior of it. Next we heard word of one Lord Sivus Meskal. He seems to serve Darth Klegevus particularly in the shipyards weapons department and oversees their work as far as we believe. One could conclude that he was involved in the work regarding this new weapon.

Esme and I proceeded to try get all the schematics. While she acted on her role as a Captain she called the technicians to inspection and to report on their work progress while I plugged into the isolated terminals one by one to download the divided blueprints. What I retrieved was the following a full report on the performance of the newest Turbolaser with comparisons, field tests and further statistics of it's performance.

Finally I got my hands on four sets of blueprints that can be used to recreate the new turbolaser model, specifically these were made up of it's internal electronics, gas to plasma converter, the heat resistant weapon barrel and the exterior shell structure of the turbolaser. We had no trouble leaving as everything seemed to be out of the ordinary and we were not caught or identified as part of the Horuset powerbase. All of us wore aliases and all purebloods were masked. The acolyte did an apt job of guarding the shuttle.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
