[War Operaton] First Strike

War Operations are a new idea that I'm testing. Each operation will form a part of a larger story being told, in this case the war in the Myto Sector. There will be plenty of operations in this story, hopefully one every two weeks or more often. To keep it fair for those that want to attend operations which are so very popular, if you sign up for a War Operation you cannot sign up for the next War Operation posted. So players A, B, C, D, and E sign up to Operation 1, they cannot sign up to Operation 2, but can sign up to Operation 3. This is intended to allow a rotating cast for the story being told.
Also being tested is a new way of GMing Operations. 5 players is the minimum and maximum, an operation cannot continue until all 5 slots are filled. And from those 5 players a GM must be chosen, GMing is not to be done by players who haven't signed up to the group. This is with the intention of allowing new GMs to build up their confidence. If all 5 players cannot decide on who will GM then straws will be drawn to determine who will be the GM fairly. If you GMed the last operation you attended you may be excused from GMing the next one. I hope this will lead to a series of scenarios where as many people as possible get to attend operations while not forcing the same players to constantly GM.
Rewards will not be handed out after War Operations, but loot may be found during the Operation, as well as attendance or success shining a favourable light on your character.

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Lord Saltaeon's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. She would be stood with arms by her side, one resting on her hip, the custom-fit plates of the armour looking intimidating in their bulk, a cloak falls off her shoulders to the ground. A gun metal helmet with deep and black eyes stare into the recorder. She clears her throat before speaking into the recording device:

"Members of the Powerbase, you know of Dubrillion. You fought there tooth and nail. It lies in Republic territory now, being rebuilt after we turned it to ash. Republic banners fly over ruined cities and piles of corpses. But more importantly, Dubrillion is the entrance to the Myto Sector, an area of space that I intend to turn into a metaphorical mine field to slow the Republic advance. Dubrillion is my first target.
Even with the combined power of Destroyer Fleet Ziost, Dubrillion cannot be assaulted. But it can bleed, the Republic there can be bled dry. The Fleet will jump into system and move in even smaller groups to ambush supply ships. This is the mission detailed in this public call. Board a Republic supply vessel, remove the crew, and meet up with the Fleet to return to Sernpidal. There is no reward for this action, it is our duty to continue the war even while the primary assault forces heal their wounds."

With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.

Objectives: In this task there will be one primary objective, one secondary objective, and one tertiary objective.

Primary Objective : Prevent the ship from getting to Dubrillion.

Secondary Objective: Return the ship to Sernpidal with cargo intact.

Tertiary Objective: Take the crew as prisoners.
