Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

*The image of a dark-haired pureblood woman flickers into view over the holo, blue hues doing little to lessen the unwavering stare presented to whomever was looking at the message. Her visage is but a calm face, with little else to be read from it. Her attire is expectedly maintained in dark colors, favoring lighter armoring though the tactical placing of armored plating and thicker armor weaves speaks of considerations. For observant eyes, her belt holds what appears to be anything from a medical kit to vials tucked on the hip opposite her lightsaber.*

"Though we have long since overcome the true depths of resource shortages exsperinced under Zakuul's attempt to break the empire into its fold, none the less shall there always be those who seek to steal and delay the imperial war effort.

"Major Porrel speaks of a shipment of high-end targeting sensors meant for the northern front, were stolen by smugglers during emergency repairs on the transport's engines".

"The targeting sensor's trackers indicate the smugglers have hidden themselves in a smaller asteroid belt mid-way between Serpindal, their original destionation, and Belkaden. They are to be retrived intact to keep them from the highest bidder's hand, or for the smugglers to become even more armed and put future transports at risk".

Location: Asteroid field of a smaller size.
OOC Location: Generally any interior-ship location could be used, or if the GM wants to be creative with a space/ship event that's also possible.
Added info: Transport will be provided by Sith Sarias.
Objectives:
Primary Objectives:
  • Locate and retrieve the targeting sensors -intact-
  • Disrupt the smuggler's operations, either by capture or elimination.

Secondary Objectives:
  • Locate any other stolen goods and see it secured for Serpindal
  • Obtain information regarding their activities in the asteroid belt. Do they operate alone, or is it used as a point of interest for smugglers?

Time Frame: 1 month (Due date: 19th of October 2023)
Estimated Party Size: 4-5  (NOTE: At least one apprentice or above is required to lead the mission).
Rewards: Acolytes can receive a lesson in a core force power. Apprentices and above will be able to request a lesson or perhaps a specific reward from Sarias. Imperials will have potential rewards discussed upon its conclusion.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
