Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"The war effort in the Northern Territories has progressed according to the plan devised by the Conservancy of the Horuset Powerbase in liason with the Imperial Military of the region. Our troops have become renowned, our fleet winning glory that will be remembered for many decades to come as we beat back the Republic dissidents from our rightful rule of the Galaxy. Information trickles in across the entirety of the region, yet we barely know anything about the planet upon which our own War Camp is settled.
While the war in the north continues, it is imperative that we garner as much information about what surrounds our War Camp as swiftly as possible. The planet of Plooma and its geography remains largely a mystery to the Sith Empire, a fact that will hold us back remarkably if we are ever forced to defend our War Camp with blade, blaster and boot.
The objective of the Operation is simple. See the surrounding area around the War Camp mapped and make an analysis of the geography of the area. Evaluate and see what holes remain in our defences and what can be done to improve them. Scout positions for snipers and spotters alongside looking into how we can use the War Camp's location to our advantage.
To  those who see this operation complete, you will be rewarded proportional to your position in the Sith Empire.
An Acolyte, will receive a singular piece of armour to protect a body part of their choice that they will wear under their robes.
A Sith, will receive a reward of their own choosing.
An Imperial Soldier, will be personally commended alongside receiving a stipend of credits to do with as they wish."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Plooma.

((OOCly: Balmorra, our War Camp! Th'Asidra is currently in orbit of the location.))

Current Information: Currently, it is known that there is an abandoned Mining Complex to the South East of the Horuset War Camp. It has been lightly explored by past incursions and has been cleared of any critters that were within, but the mine itself has not been tapped for resources. To the South-West is an abandoned Mining Town, largely unexplored. A rancor was killed by the first scouting party in the region, finding the Rancor's lair and seeing it made aware to the Beastmaster's of the Powerbase is of the utmost importance. Far to the North-East lies an abandoned Republic Base. The depths of which remain unexplored due to beasts remaining inside. No intelligence has been gained on what remains inside the structure.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.

Primary Objective I: Scout the surrounding area.

Primary Objective II: Analyse the defenses of the Horuset War Camp and offer suggestions for improvements.

Secondary Objective I: Deduce where in the nearby landscape that enemy forces would likely land and increase the chances that they will land there by clearing any nearby animals while simultaneously planning traps that could be laid in their place to be sprung during a defense.

Time Frame: The team will have 7 days to complete this task before alternative methods of scouting are used to map the surrounding area.
((The 22nd of March will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of no more than three will be necessary to oversee the scouting and planning of Plooma.

((3 means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at 3 people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than 3))

A mission report would be filed by Neophyte Kalkoran, containing attached observations of all three individuals participating including a detailed map of the entire area surrounding the former camp site. Spots for snipers to make use of is marked as well.

My Lord,

Plans were laid out to cover the initial grounds of the camp and the abandoned mining town to the south-west. Splitting up to cover as much ground as possible, we were hit by the republic before any measures could be planned out. On the initial reports on the camp, I can however conclude that we would have required far more time than held for it to have made a difference when the republic struck us. So to keep things relevant, I will note the respective areas surrounding the camp that can still be of use.

Aboanded Minning Town
-Structures still mostly intact outwardly and inside
-A good place to put an ambush given its one-way entry to the complex area through the valley
-Few pieces of salvaged equipment within, of no great value.

The last two areas were scouted out by those signed up some days following the bombardment, where we went in with a shuttle - I scouted the northern path leading east while Apprentice Cerberus and Acolyte Orgkez went the south road. Below are our findings.

Abandoned Minning complex
-No presence of predators, merely base rodent lifeforms that fled on approach.
-Main entrance appears to be blocked by a heavy rock slide, presumably from the bombardment. Alternative entrance found through a hatch nearby.
-Acolyte Orgkez took pictures of mine cards seemingly with a bit of leftover ore. It has been marked for recovery to perhaps shed light on what the republic was mining.
-A republic shuttle mentioned by Apprentice Areos to me earlier was confirmed to still be relatively intact (A brief inspection of the interior confirmed most damage was to an engine). Its location is marked for recovery should you wish it worth salvaging.

Abandoned Republic base:
-Since our last visit, a Rancor seems to as of late have made home of the initial area just before the area. It didn't seem fully grown judging by the height, however with the distance it was hard to gauge. Neophyte Kalkoran was able to make initial scouts of a possible lair, confirmed with sightings from Apprentice Cerberus and Acolyte Orgkez. The possible lair has been marked on the map, however it should be noted the rancor perhaps merely was passing through to feast on the nexu.

Due to the presence of the rancor, unknown depths of the base and darkness falling were concluded the scouting at this point. Despite the loss of the war camp, Plooma could still hold use to us once we finish crushing the republic.

This concludes the report.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
