Two Arch (Defense) Report

#1
Two Arch Report (Leviathan)
To: Command
From: Crix Rennab

Mission: Reaction to the Enemy attack of Two Archs, unplanned.

Execution: Groupings of Leviathan was spread out all over our terrain doing all kinds of tasks. Suddenly the enemy attacked Two Archs, Leviathan was ordered to react to the attack as a rapidly assembled QRF (Quick Reaction Force) along with some grunts from other units. We were conducting this attack with vehicle support, 3 walkers, and 1 light tank. As we reached the edge of Two Archs we were hit by a republic artillery strike, it took out quite a few of our side units and forced us to move for cover somewhere in the open. We could see fighting happening deeper in Two Archs and knew that the garrison there was engaged. At this point we received two contradicting orders, Ensign Trisdane told us to push forward and seize terrain; I judge so we can reinforce our troops engaged within two arches proper to properly retreat with them. While I heard later, that one of the Sith wished for us to retreat and abandon the troops in Two Arches. I decided to follow Ensign Trisdane's orders, as those were the ones I could hear and were aware of.

We don't manage to get into Two Archs proper as an I hear the call out for 50 Incoming light speeders moving towards us Ensign Trisdane told us to begin preparing our missiles, I told a gang of infantrymen to hold their fire as well and prepare for that charge. On Trisdanes opening of fire the rest of us followed suit, essentially stopping a large majority of enemy Light Speeders with our barrage. A few slipped through but they had lost their cohesion. I'm not entirely sure what happened but Trisdanes walker began taking damage, I suddenly had a Jedi moving up to take me down as I abandoned the walker and ran off, calling it in over the radio as an alarm report. One of the Sith engaged the Jedi which gave me time to run to the other squad of soldiers and begin the retreat away from the Jedi while the Sith was fighting it. The Sith who was engaged with the Jedi was struggling as other Sith decided to engage the Jedi, our riflemen could handle the remaining Republic troops and speeders circling us as I saw the soldiers scoring quite a few good hits.

As I was taking the long retreat way in the engagement to the rest of the Leviathan forces I saw that Ensign Trisdane was injured by a rock near the Jedi, while the Jedi was fighting 3 Sith I believe, it went so fast I could barely keep up. I ordered Carys, Kienix, and the lads I found to be ready to cover us as Miriadas and I ran up to the Ensign to begin extracting him, he was injured. The Jedi seemingly disappeared and was suddenly up on the rubble that had now become a collapsed arc, threatening and taunting. Ensign Trisdane pushed me away and grabbed his weapon, taking his jetpack and flying straight up to Engage the Jedi, telling us to retreat with the injured Sith. I ordered Kienix to turn his vehicle into a CASEVAC as we all got onto it and began pulling back. The enemy's infantry had managed to push through the rubble of Two Arch and was at first engaging us, then Ensign Trisdane forced them to engage him instead. Very few bolts flew our way. Since then we only heard Trisdane from the comms, I saw him engaging everyone in a display of sheer willpower until he disappeared in the smoke and said his last line over the comms. "For the Empire", Long live the Empire.

See the Battalion report and Logistics report for lost equipment and spent resources.

Commendations:

Specialist Miriadas for excellent maneuvering of her walker and initiative. She took care of the first aid of the Sith while the rest of us were, admittedly, in shock during the Ensign's engagement. She should also be awarded "The Saviour's Medal".

Request: Promotion of Ensign Trisdane to the rank of Lieutenant. He qualified for the rank long ago. As well as the Mark of the Blade.

Long Live the Empire

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
