Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"Since our resurgence, the Sith Empire has been both contested and amplified by pirates. Grand Admiral Harridax Kirill, otherwise known as the Voidwolf, was an Admiral who started his career as an Imperial Privateer before being promoted up through the Imperial Navy to reach such an esteemed rank. He gathered together a fleet of pirates at the apex of the fighting on Corellia, only for his flagship to be infiltrated and him killed. The Voidwolf's pirate fleet dissipated back to separate corners of the galaxy, with no single strong leader for them to follow.
With the onset of the war, once again the role of Imperial Privateers has become one of esteemed importance. Smuggling, stealing and destroying assets of the Republic in the name of the Sith Empire, it is now time to take a tactic of those at the very fringes of our Empire and see it used for the betterment of the Horuset Powerbase.
The Planet of Ord Trasi in the Northern Territories has served the Galactic Republic as a minor shipbuilding and maintenance depot for several centuries. Known for producing Quartermaster-Class Supply Carriers with large enough holds for substantial military goods, the planet has long since been one of importance to the Republic in ensuring that its supplies are transported across the vast swathe of the galaxy that it attempts to call its own.
The objective of the Operation is simple. The 'Raven's Talon' will be awaiting those who sign up within the assigned spaceport on Dromund Kaas. On the fringes of the Ord Trasi system, the 'Raven's Talon' will be used to take over a Quartermaster-Class Supply Carrier, with both ships being returned to the Horuset Powerbase upon the completion of the Operation.
Any who complete this operation, will earn my favour."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Ord Trasi System.

((OOCly: The Operation can begin in the DK spaceport, with a Bounty Hunter class grouped so that the D-5 Mantis can be used later! The point of this Operation is to have an event that is near entirely based on space flight and space combat. That means the majority of the RP will be done aboard a starship, so have fun with some potentially new RP!))

The Raven's Talon: The fabled 'Raven's Talon' was a smuggling vessel that was common in the Outer Rim. Once piloted by a figure known as 'Redrunner', the Horuset Powerbase captured the ship after an operation on Rishi when Lord Kalkoran's scouts tagged the ship. Both the ship and the crew, 'Redrunner' included, were captured. The crew was interrogated and swiftly replaced by those loyal to the Empire.

Once believed to have been several ships all acting under the same name to bolster a reputation, the Raven's Talon is a heavily modified D5-Mantis. Nimble, quick and agile the ship was used to break blockades and get supplies to the surface of planets that otherwise would go without. Both the Cargo hold and the Sub-Light Engines have been upgraded from the standard D5-Mantis, making the ship comparable in speed to the personal vessels of both Lord Kalkoran and Lord Sanguinis when not in lightspeed. The extended cargo hold ensures that if the Raven's Talon breaks a blockade, a second trip is not necessary.

As of recently, the Raven's Talon has been fitted with Ion based weaponry and its escape pod replaced with a boarding pod. Where once the Raven's Talon was renowned for its ability to be a smuggler's ship, it is now capable of small-scale privateering.

Past 'The Raven's Talon' Operations:

I - To Claim By Conquest

II - Fly Casual!

III - Outnumbered? Perhaps. Outgunned? Never.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.

Primary Objective I: Capture a Quartermaster-Class Supply Carrier without damaging it beyond quick repair.

Primary Objective II: Return both the Raven's Talon and the Quartermaster-Class Supply Carrier to the Horuset Powerbase

Secondary Objective I: Use the Raven's Talon's scanners to pick a Quartermaster-Class Supply Carrier that is either carrying passengers to become slaves or materials being shipped to Ord Trasi to use in starship construction.

Time Frame: The team will have 28 days to complete the task before it is expected that the munitions on Cademimu will be sent to various Republic fleets.
((The 22nd of March will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of no more than four will be necessary to crew the Raven's Talon

((4 means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at 4 people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than 4))

"The viability of this operation has passed. All assigned resources and personnel will be redirected to other missions within the Horuset Powerbase. To say I am disappointed that such an opportunity has passed the Powerbase by is a severe understatement. The Black Talon will sink its claws into a ship another day."

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
