Holo-diary of Acolyte Feyara Zerakona

#1
Entry 1: Reflection.

A holo projection sparks into activation. Soon after It's on, a rather half feminine and half masculine female Pureblood with acolyte robes with fair ponytail hair would be sat down, visible in the frame. Her full height nor body masculinity being rather hard to see as the Pureblood only appears to show half of her height - coursing from her upper torso to her face. Her gaze lingering onto the device as she seemingly looks pointedly at It, at the viewer. After a short moment, her pointed expression would seamlessly disappears into an blank, expressionless face. Her brow lowered.
"Acolyte Zerakona, first and likely only entry. Will look back for future updates."
The acolyte pauses as she raises her datapad half carefully half casually, with her left hand - as her right hand's fingers wander over and press several buttons. Her attention smoothly wavers over from her datapad to the camera.
"A tragedy. I believe many among Sith have born witness to it, in their very own lives. Some at a younger ages than the rest, while others only baring witness to It during their very end of a lifetime. It's an amusing subject. Tragedy. Especially tragedy with Sith Houses, as far as they go."
The young Pureblood tilts her head to the right for a moment, before speaking again.

"House Zerakona was always a relatively unimportant House. Small in numerical size. It's roots coming from Korriban, and Dromund Kaas. The only notable part of It, is that it provides better advising men and women rather than strong and powerful warriors. Both Sith and Imperial. Now, many would often say 'oh, what a weak, pathetic, insufferable house awaiting extinction.'. And many may be right, but power does not always come from clear strength, as one would assume."
The young Pureblood's face darkens a little, as she turns her attention back to the camera.
"As such, one main line replaces another in such Houses. Brother turns on dead brother, and the main legacy and line changes, alters, moves on. But the dead do not. The pain does not. But that is the way of the Sith. The strong survive, the weak perish. Conflict paves way for success. Whether It being internal or external."
The young Pureblood continues to stare at the camera. Almost as if looking through It.
"That Is the struggle of many Purebloods who lose the chance to inherit their own House. One can look at It as weakness, but I look at It as strength. The strength and determination to take that pain and use It for your own benefit. One must not forsake the values and traditions of the Pureblood species, whether they are House specific or species wide for they would only damn themselves more for being a turncoat. Without values, laws or cultural structures - who are we at all? Without a code or a set of rules to discipline us, are we beast or man?"
The young Pureblood now looks at the camera clearly - with a set of purpose in her eyes.
"Only by looking back at the past, can one determine their future. Whether or not that future will succeed Is a question for another time, another place, and another individual. Reflecting on past failures, victories, humiliations, new facts and new stories - is a way to move forward. To avoid making the mistakes, and to perhaps even change the future, should one day the power be granted."
The young Pureblood now tilts her head downwards with ease.
"I say with pride and certainty that whether or not I become a Sith - the Empire will always live on. The Pureblood species will always live on. While House Zerakona may never be restored to the original line that held It, House Zerakona will still fight on for the Empire, and beyond. It Is with clear thought that I reflect on my father's old demise, and use It to better myself, and better the Empire as a whole."
The Pureblood seemingly swoops down the camera and turns it off.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
