"Crushing Rebels" (Zena Vici's Tale)

#1
"Crushing Rebels"

[u]CHAPTER I: A Plan in Motion[u]

"Well, you look like sh*t,” the sixteen year old Zena jested, a light chuckle emitting underneath her cigarette. Throughout the cherry gesture, the tobacco roll stayed wrapped in between her shimmering red lips. She aimed her clouded breath directly at the twi’lek’s visage, anticipating a reflex.
Tashi did not move from her spot once faced with the strong scent, nor was there a change in her mien.
Her smile was wide, profound cheeks popping out from above it. The brown eyes that complimented Tashi’s green skin, demonstrated a certain craving as she gazed at Zena’s jawline.
”Got anymore of these?” Tashi asked, pointing a finger at her desired direction.
It was glaringly obvious to Zena  that the twi’lek hoped for more than a mere cigarette. Regardless, she past on her own, the two teenage girls diving into a verbless moment where they’d just exchange looks and gestures alongside the roll.
Tashi fumbled around, timidly. A course of nature that guided most servants, if not all. Her advances were laid out by a series of soft blushes and short glances. Zena was quite the opposite. She’d let her feelings guide her smoke-free hand, taking an affectionate hold of the twi’lek, who’s happy gaze now meet the wet, cold ground which was the Kaas City’s street. All Zena usually needed was a safe place to shower Tashi with passionate kisses and suggestive touches. Usually. This was a different time for her. A time to set her unprofitable plan into motion.
As much as Zena felt guilty for it, Tashi was now here out of reasons, that were far from pure or innocent. Though the crushing was real, the human intended to use Tashi as an object for an ill-willed reprisal. Having a good understanding of just how much her adoptive mother hated aliens and open displays of homosexuality, Zena found the perfect way to anger her. Though expecting a few force shocks and back lashes in exchange, the rebellious teen was not used to shying away from doing what she wanted. In this case, what she strived for was breaking Lady Ridashi’s ego, and possibly pouring black ink onto her otherwise spotless reputation.
Allowing the near-empty roll to fall into a mud puddle, Zena raised her head up and fixated her gaze on Tashi. As their eyes locked, Zena could pin-point just how nervous the twi'lek was. She offered the other girl a small, comforting smile as she swung her arm back and forth, forcing Tashi's to move in the same rythem.
"You ready?" Zena asked and Tashi responded with a sigh.
The twi'lek was hesitant to nod, but wasn't too kin on shaking her head either. Zena took a mental note of this and frowned sadly, turning her gaze down at the mud pool. It was an act of intentional manipulation, to look upset and heartbroken. Zena knew all too well Tashi was an empath, who had a heavy crush on her. Of course she'd respond accordingly to  Zena's pouts.
"Hey, I didn't mean..." Tashi began with her soft, very feminine tone, as she reached her hand out, bringing it on top of Zena's shoulder,"I really like you, Zena..." her eyes shifted in between the cracks and puddles, "It's just..."
"Just...not enough," Zena added to her sentence, sounding devastated, "Not enough to show me your affection in public. You're ashamed of me, Tashi...is that it?"
Tashi's jaw dropped and head shook. Zena wasn't quite finished however;
"I get it, it's alright. I get i'm a female too...one with a disgustingly large scar all over my fu**ing face for one," Zena frowned further, furrowing her eyebrows this time. It was an angry gesture, and Tashi seemed almost in shock, believing every feeling Zena spoke aloud. Just how much of a truth, or half-truths were in there was beyond Zena's comprehension. Right now, the teenager just did what she had to for revenge's sake.
"I'll do it Zena, I'm sorry," Tashi began, stroking the other girl's shoulder before a smile would  redraw on her face,"I don't care what they think! You're my beautiful girlfriend and I really, really like you! A lot! And everyone should know about it!"
As a short-lasting breeze past them, Zena peaked up from the ground keeping a slight pout on herself,"You really mean that?" she asked, an eyebrow arched and Tashi nodded profoundly. It didn't take long for the twi'lek to be pulled into a kiss, as Zena absolutely adored her answer.
As they'd part, Zena grinned and began guiding the other girl to the Kaas City cantina, where at least a few of Lady Ridashi's allies and clients most likely gathered. She had herself, Tashi, and a plan in motion. Her pureblooded "mother" would soon get what was coming to her. Or so, Zena thought.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
