The Imperial Quartermaster - Vehicles
Spoiler: OOC Information:
In this thread, you'll see all types of Vehicles that are available to Imperial personnel aboard Th'Asidra. Displayed pictures are included as examples, but are not necessarily the only ingame model that fits the role of the type of Vehicle it is a picture for with exceptions for the ID-TD, IM-IT and the IB-CT. As a Private, you are given rudimentary training at the Imperial Academy of how to use such Vehicles. If a player wants to use such a Vehicle ICly, then it is heavily, heavily, advised that they own the appropriate mount first. We unfortunately do not have such vehicles laying around in the Guild Bank, and thus strongly suggest that anyone who wants to use such Vehicles ICly, pays for and owns the mount themselves before asking ICly. Below is a list of the OOC mount name for the IC vehicle.
Imperial Speeder - Hyrotii YH-55
IS-AW Walker - KX-7 Command Walker
IB-CT Tank - E-95 Dread Behemoth
ID-TD Tank - Imperial Devastator
IM-IT Tank - Unrelenting Interceptor
IL-ST Tank - Landslide Assault Speeder
A small holorecording would play once the file was downloaded. A synthetic Imperial voice would speak, near entirely monotone.
"The Imperial Quartermaster can be accessed inside the Imperial Training Room, aboard Th'Asidra Harrower-Class Dreadnought. While rarely used within the Horuset Powerbase, Vehicles are still a mainstay of Ground Combat out in the wider Galaxy. Aboard Th'Asidra is various Imperial Walkers, Speeders and three types of tanks that will ensure the Empire's success when a battlefield must be conquered. With certain promotions, soldiers will be granted access to the below vehicles."
And as soon as it had started, the brief recording was done. Following, the file would go into detail concerning the Armours and Uniforms that are available at the Imperial Quartermaster.
Open Top Imperial Vehicles:
Spoiler: Imperial Speeder:
"Speeders have been a technological factor within the galaxy at large for as long as history has been recorded. During the Sith Empire's initial resurgence on Dromund Kaas, speeders were of the utmost importance to see the vast planet mapped and scouted so that Kaas City could be founded in an optimal location. To the Imperial Military, several dozen different variations of speeders are available to Imperial Soldiers who require such a vehicle during active service.
The Imperial Quartermaster has saw fit to ensure that one design in particular is prominent within the Horuset Powerbase. Sleek in design, the long thin nature of the speeder paints a small target for any foe that faces a speeder head on. Its low frame ensures that it is nimble enough to dart around the trees and underbrush of the Kaas jungle, the environment it is most suited for. This does not mean that the Imperial Speeder is any less efficient on sandy dunes, only that if several obstacles are in the of the speeder and the pilot has the skill, the speeder will be able to manoeuvre around as if it was made to dance. Speeders are accessible to Privates, ensuring that at no point will an Imperial Soldier be without a speeder if they wish one."
"The IS-AW has been part of the Imperial War Machine ever since its military forces begun higher capacity construction beyond the small arms that was necessary to see an entire people conscripted. Walkers have been part of galactic warfare in many forms, the most prominent being used for scouting enemy emplacements. Its high profile and high speed enables a pilot to scout and stave off light assaults from foes that may meet the Walker.
The IS-AW is armed with a low fire rate Blaster Cannon that shoots a Blaster Assault Cannon bolt, but at much less frequency than a Blaster Assault Cannon. However such a weapon is not the only armament that the IS-AW has at its disposal, as it also houses Rocket Launchers. Two on either side of the Pilot's pod, the IS-AW can be equipped to carry twenty four rockets, six for each launcher. The IS-AW is however, open topped. The pilot exposed to the elements of a battlefield if they find themselves admist one. The IS-AW is primarily used for hit and run tactics and scouting, the vulnerability to the pilot leaves it unable to hold a position effectively. When a soldier reaches the rank of Corporal, they are given access to the IS-AW."

"The IL-ST is a recent development in the Imperial Army, taking heavy inspiration from armoured speeder cars used by smaller militaries it mounts heavy weaponry on a light and highly mobile frame. Designed to act as an infantry support vehicle, following along with squads to provide fire support and heavy suppressing fire. It's weapons intended to pin infantry in cover with repeating cannon fire, though capable of proving dangerous to lightly armoured vehicles if used in coordination with other forces.
The IL-ST is armed with two heavy blaster cannons mounted on vertical pivots, they each have a slower rate of fire than a blaster assault cannon, but the detonation of the blaster bolt is larger. On each weapon housing is a grenade launcher with two chambers, for a total of four grenades, that are typically armed with smoke grenades as cover for the vehicle, though fragmenation grenades can also be fitted. The IL-ST is an open topped vehicle, leaving the crew member exposed to attacks from the side or above. The engines of the speedertank give a low amount of lift above the ground and can achieve a top road speed that can outpace a sprinting infantry soldier. When a soldier reaches the rank of Corporal, they are given access to the IL-ST."

Closed Top Imperial Tanks:
"Armoured Vehicles dedicated towards the role of destroying emplacements and overrunning enemy lines with sheer mobile firepower has been a long adopted method of galactic warfare for millennia. Historically, the Mandalorians used their Basilisk War Droids to great effect as semi-sentient mobile tanks that Mandalorian warriors could grapple onto and control, descending from orbit to the planet to overwhelm their foes.
The IB-CT, is a hovering medium tank. Compact in nature, the IB-CT houses a dual barrelled turret as its main and only turret, capable of firing at a bolt a second per tank, or a bolt every two seconds per barrel. Fully manoeuvrable, the increased fire rate over something alike the ID-TD while maintaining heavy firepower leaves a significant backblast after every shot that the IB-CT takes. Capable of venting scorching hot steam out the back of the turret, such a safety mechanism to not overheat the crew has often acted as a defensive mechanism for those foolish enough to clamber aboard the IB-CT with hostile intent. Capable of running at full efficiency with only one pilot, only one hatch leads into the seat that operates the Behemoth. Fully armoured, but not to the same extent as the ID-TD, the IB-CT can take significant punishment before being put of of action. The IB-CT is made available to a soldier upon reaching the rank of Sergeant.
An electronic minesweeper variant of the IB-CT was commissioned during the deployment to Dubrillion, this setup is an optional attachment to the front and underside of any Behemoth. Mounted on a swivel, it detects mines in a 15 metre radius ahead of the tank - a button press inside will fire a concentrated Ion ray to disable electronics at the targeted area (with a camera feed inside of the Tank), and then a simple pneumatic gun will shoot a paintball from a hopper to denote the spot in case of Pressure Plates, as well as for extraction and retrieval/disposal."
"Tank Destroying Vehicles have become a necessity of the integrated support that the vast armies of the galaxy often use as part of their military doctrine. Battles are often fought with a mechanised arm, tanks, walkers and speeders alike used to quickly see a position taken by breaking through an enemy line and using infantry to hold it against a counter attack. Tank Destroyers are the galactic answer to mechanised warfare.
The ID-TD is perhaps one of the newest additions to the Imperial War Machine. Only a decade old, the ID-TD has seen numerous battles across the galaxy, including the onslaught of Zakuul. While Zakuul was a near unstoppable onslaught, their ground forces found it difficult to beat the ID-TD with their own mechanised forces. The main turret of the ID-TD houses what can only be described as a Turbolaser battery. Capable of scorching straight through hardened Duraplast and Duranium as if it was little more than foliage, the main turret of the ID-TD is however the Vehicles only weapon. Its heavily armoured exterior and twin metallic shields cover its flanks and frame in enough armour to withstand even the toughest of shots, even finding resistance to lightsabers. A secondary hatch can be opened for a Co-Pilot closer to the front of the ID-TD, where if they so decided they would be able to shoot out of, acting as a secondary gunner. The ID-TD is made available to soldiers who reach the rank of Ensign"

The IM-IT, is a hovering Light Tank. Fast and lightly armoured, the IM-IT houses dual mounted forward swivel barrels capable of shredding infantry armour with fast firing explosive shots. While not true turrets, the swivel nature of both guns on the tank allows them some mobility beyond always being pointed directly forward, allowing the gunner of the IM-IT to not always be needing to minutely changeĀ the way the tank is facing to get accurate shots off. The fast firing nature of the weapons on the tank gives it the designation of an anti-infantry vehicle. A repulsorlift vehicle, the IM-IT is incredibly fast and capable of outright running over enemy barricades through a combination of the repulsorlift engines lifting the vehicle over them and the tank itself running over enemy combatants with ease. The IM-IT will not hold up under sustained anti-vehicular fire, making it most effective to augment infantry engagements. The IM-IT is made available to Lieutenants."
