Introduction [Image: cEb1VoL.png]

With the current state of the universe, the Sith face a challenge to fight the Republic through the use of attrition, and as such this documentation will be both to teach and be a point of reference for Acolytes to rely on and potentially for those above their station.

The Sith is a way of life, will always be demanded to join in on missions and the war alike. For some, its desk jobs and management of the Sith order in varying degrees of responsibilities. Yet, there is always the spine of the empire, the Bulwark of the truth domination.

The Sith Warriors, Marauders and the juggernauts fulfilling certain requirements to carry the war forward, for as much as Assassins are viable and required they aren't frontline fighters. So it falls to the backbone of the Sith fighting force to fill its gap, yet there’s plenty of culture with the Sith of hold, and how traditionalism brought this caste of Sith forwards.

Acolytes within the Empire while weak still command the Force, and as such are expected the weaponise it into a devastating weapon, and a tool for victory. A combination of Force Powers are required to validate yourself as an effective combat Sith, and its the core that will determine your survivability in your Acolyte Hood and beyond.

An Acolyte for those above the rank of Apprentice will be considered expendable and be nothing more than chaff for the one higher up the food chain, or be in the charge with the higher ranking Sith into combat, in either case, you need to be prepared for the hardships and psychological conditioning which is the way of the Warrior Doctrine.

Simplicity

The bliss of simplicity while lacking the less dull complications of a well-calculated, it is a sure way of assuring one’s survival. An example of which is to react to a situation in a clear and simple response, you will die if you consider a complicated plan during an ambush, you deserve to die. An example of which is to hold the capability to call out incoming threats, coordinate through simple call signs and being able to respond to these orders - an example of which is being able to identify a flank and being able to express a counter manoeuvre by coordinating a shift in the combat line, or giving a command to flank the flankers. A charge is as easily conveyed by a mere single order and expression of your body.

Simplicity may also come in other shapes and forms, of which a lot may offer minimalistic solutions ergo effective responses under pressure. Haircut, armour, weapons, battle tactics to even force powers. There will be further reading materials for the future to both examples and lessons about military tactics and simplistic manoeuvres.

Shii-Cho

The go-to form that you as a Sith is demanded to know and understand as a standard, every other form as an Acolyte is either a fine addition to your arsenal or a waste of time. While the other Lightsaber forms have their uses, for an Acolyte of the Horuset Powerbase not understanding the basics of the Shii-Cho form will contact the Assistant Overseer, the Blade Master or their assistant in training your blade work further.

For those wishing to dip their toes into the foundation of Lightsaber combat or perhaps wish to have some reading material, head over to the current documentation of the form: “The Blademaster's Guide to Shii-Cho”

Core Powers

As a foundation, a few examples will be made for which abilities are recommended to utilise during combat:
Spoiler: Danger Sense
Spoiler: Force Push
Spoiler: Adept Powers

Cohesion

As Acolytes within the Sith Empire, you’re not expected to lead, nor will you defy the hierarchy of which the Sith Empire has placed in an attempt to gain control over a group of Force Users, even more so as an Alien of the empire. Yet, lest you forget that the chain is as strong as its weakest link, assure that you’re not that weakness.

Yet, there will be times where you will be required to lead a group of Acolytes in case of an emergency or if the Sith leading you and your Acolytes is either pre-disposed or not within range. Your priority will as a combat leader to reunite with a higher ranking Sith, or if able - complete the objective and honour the standing orders you were given. Failure to act accordingly will result in severe consequences for neglecting one’s duties. For both you and the Sith that failed to uphold a structure in the ranks.

Group Composition

Think in threes, for every Apprentice, there will be three of you to work together as a cohesive group. For every three people, there will be a singular leader, a leader of which that must be capable of putting themselves into a task and accomplish it without thinking otherwise.

If you perchance get the opportunity to lead a group of Acolytes, congratulations for dominating the rest, yet you’re expected to understand the ranking structure as an Acolyte. You and -only- you will report to the higher up for incoming situations while keeping a fluid and clear line of communication between your group, failure to uphold this line of communication will result in a less than alert state of mind and the removal of this privilege. Yet, competition is encouraged and in the end, everyone is your rivals.

Closing Words

You’re still in your infancy - you will either learn, find a place in the empire and present yourself as a capable Sith or die, and perhaps stagnate. This is the knowledge that is expected to be understood and studied, expanded upon to fit your own way of combat. Nor is this a complete guide in how the field of combat work.

There’s a distinction between being a mindless meat brute and a capable warrior, and it is as simple as how you carry yourself during and after the conclusion of combat, are you a reliable asset? Are you unhinged, are you a coward? All traits which can easily be picked up with your actions and your response to a situation. For while this documentation will go through the very foundation of what is defined as the basics, there’s much more to know in how to evolve yourself as both Sith and a capable combatant.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
