"Before war officially broke out, many of Kaldon Industries' factories, assets and vital workers were dispersed off world to continue production unaffected. Production that is vital to the company in order for them to uphold their end of the bargain with us. One of these dispersed factories was re-established on neutral Vef III in the Relgim sector. Recently, a "union" of the workers there seems to have gone on strike under the leadership of Foreman Kohen, their demands being that their families be shipped offworld from Nam'ta, something which is not financially or logistically feasible for the company. Although analysts claim Kohen's leadership is the shatterpoint for the strike, Kaldon does not want him dead, as that would be too obvious. He is to be "convinced" through alternative means, and without the former's involvement being apparent."
