Timeframe and further notes
It is anticipated that these experiments will be carried out over the course of no more than six weeks. This of course may vary if the powerbase is summoned to go to war or is otherwise engaged. Additionally this may also vary if Subject 1 dies. Subject 1 will be returned to the prison medical facilities for recovery if he survives.

Wound was mostly closed but scan reveals that at a depth beyond 0.3cm there was a lesser closing effect.
5.1cm x 0.6cm
Success
Wound closes but again at beyond half wound depth the effect did not seem to take.
4.9cm x 0.6cm

Success
A far better attempt. Scan reveals that the wound is completely closed to the full depth, though there are signs of internal bleeding from proximity to wound two.

Updated Procedure
Deep wounds do not appear to heal fully with this technique. This is concerning as all remaining wounds are deeper. Additional thought is required as to the sustainability of this. Perhaps a branch should be made to more jagged wounds of similar depth? More complex designs or perhaps lightsaber wounds.

Lightsaber 5cm x 0.5cm
Failed
Success
Complete closure with just one hand. THe burn was no more difficult to heal than the cuts were, but the spell left a lesser burn of it's own.
Lightsaber 10cm x 0.5cm
Success
Another success, this wound required two hands to fully cover but once applied all that remains is an outline of the palms. The prisoner begun to grow weak at this point and it was sensed that only one further attempt may be viable.
Left Arm Amputation Stump
Mixed
The left arm was removed with a lightsaber and the burnt stump was targeted for repair. The sheer damage of this strike proved too much for the spell to fully be able to repair and indeed moments later the sheer stress of multiple weeks of torture caused Subject One to go into shock, from which he did not appear likely to recover. He was fed to Apprentice Daxze.

Experimental Brief
The sorcerous ability Tnimi is a simple yet effective way of dealing with surface level wounds upon a person. It appears to function by channeling dark sided energies into the wound, painfully sealing it shut. It is for that reason that it is considered ineffective with dealing with deeper wounds. This experiment is to determine the supposed limits of this ability.
Methodology
This will be achieved by inflicting wounds of various depths upon a prisoner (Subject “1”) and attempting to restore them. Each wound shall be inflicted three times as a control against error. Due to the desire to keep Subject 1 alive for the entirety of this work, wounds shall begin with the least lethal and shall work upwards in lethality until there is a consistent lack of complete healing. Wounds shall be as follows:
- 5cm length by 0.5cm depth cut with a knife to a limb.
- 5cm length by 1.0cm depth cut with a knife to a limb.
- 5cm length by 1.5cm depth cut with a knife to a limb.
- 5cm length by 2.0cm depth cut with a knife to a limb.
- 2cm width by 3cm depth stab with a knife to a non-lethal location upon the torso.
- 2cm width by 4cm depth stab with a knife to a non-lethal location upon the torso.
- 2cm width by 5cm depth stab with a knife to a non-lethal location upon the torso.
If by some miracle Subject 1 survives these and the effect is shown to heal even these significant wounds, further wounds shall be as such:
- Lightsaber burns to the skin. 5cm by 2cm by 0.5mm depth
- Lightsaber burns to the skin. 10cm by 2cm by 0.5mm depth
- Lightsaber burns to the skin. 15cm by 2cm by 0.5mm depth
- Lightsaber burns to the skin. 20cm by 2cm by 0.5mm depth
Controls
There will be numerous control factors in this work. Subject 1 will be allowed to heal naturally between sessions and for longer if their wounds did not completely repair. This may be as much as seven days. Knife wound depths shall be measured with a medical scanner to ascertain they are within specification. A tolerance of +/- 0.10cm has been decided as acceptable for the wounds themselves. If the wound is less than that, it will be made larger. If it is more than that, a fresh wound will be made elsewhere on the body and the inaccurate wound bandaged. Scans will be taken before and after the wound is inflicted and then again after it is healed to measure the effect.
In regards to the control of sorcerous energy, one complete cycle of Ansi Niti will be performed before each healing attempt. An attempt will be made by the Sorcerer to complete this work quickly once begun, so as not to allow for significant increases in skill between sessions.
Equipment
The following has/will be requisitioned:
- 1x Prisoner "Subject 1"
- 1x Medical table with straps and angling function
- 1x Supply of anesthesia/paralytic to stop Subject 1 moving during the experiment.
- 1x Sterile combat knife or scalpel. Combat knife is preferred as it leaves a more realistic battlefield wound
- 1x Medical scanner
- Bandages
- Kolto injections
- Sutures

Conclusions
The ability known as Tnimi is a useful tool for any Sith. We who do not possess the Lightside inclination for healing may access a healing of our own via this method. In this experiment I have proven the application of this power over shallow wounds of various types. A depth of 0.5-0.7cm has been established as the theoretical maximum for my skill level. These wounds also leave behind a tell-tale burn of the sorcerer's hand and requires significant outside power sources else one risks burning out with all the power required.
As such my own guide to performing this power would be as follows:
As such my own guide to performing this power would be as follows:
- The practitioner channels the dark side into themselves either from an Amulet via Soti Asarsi or reaching the peaks of Ansi Niti.
- This energy is then focused upon the palm(s) or other body part intended for healing and these are placed upon the wound, covering the full wound underneath.
- The incantation "Tnimi" is spoken and the energy is released into the wound, with the view to seering the flesh as one would meat and to encourage the repair processes of the subject.
- With this the healing should be completed and the subject will be left with a minor burn to the top layers of their skin instead of whatever wounds are left below.
Possible Future Experiments
- I do not believe hand size has as much to do with it as contact, but this is a viable future experiment
- Additional variety in wounds such as flayed skin or chemical damage. Does the technique repair these as well?
- Is this as viable in healing Sith Purebloods, given their natural inclination for the dark side. What about creatures such as Hutts who resist the force to some extent?
Spoiler: I will not use dumb signatures.
