Backstory:
Born into a family of 6 younger brothers and 4 older sisters, Elidon was the eldest of the Kaulderwright children. He never particularly excelled in his school years, not exceptionally bright, but not dimwitted either. Just as 'normal' as a child could be in his location.
However, his tenacious personality and selflessness became most prevalent in the year 15 ATC, when the great river that flowed by his government owned farming estate flooded. Several of Elidon's siblings and even his mother, were swept away in the fast paced murky water. Unwilling to see them drown, he dove in after them, catching up to the youngest, Arix, his 5 year old brother, before battling against the current to place him in a tree where he'd be safe. He then let himself flow free with the water in an attempt to rescue his eldest sister, he grabbed her too, the 13 year old Eliza. Then dragging her to a farming machine, too heavy for the water to move, he sat her on the roof, before finally diving in once more. He remembers hearing his mother calling for aid, and the sound of the 2 month old child, his youngest sister, Persephone. Again swimming once more through the current, he reached his mother and sister. Taking the youngest on his back he finally began to pummel the water into submission in a frenzy of aquatic fury. Then he felt it, a blunt Sickle hooked around his ankle, slicing the skin on his calf as it began to pull him down, sucked under the water with his infant sibling, he reached to the surface feeling for anything he could use. As fate would have it, a wooden pallet, floating along the surface would catch his waterlogged hand. Pressing the infant to the top of the crate, he finally finds himself free to liberate his leg. Submerging himself under the water, he struggles to free his leg from the Sickle, the pain it caused as it bit deeper and deeper into his flesh was overcome by the fear of joining the many corpses that floated below the waters surface, some still struggling for air as they met their aquatic grave. With one powerful tug, he pulled himself free and finally reached the surface. Following the cries of Persephone, he drew the strength to reach her on her makeshift raft. With her, he pulled her and the raft on top of a small home's roof, not yet pulled away by the current. He waited there for 8 hours until he was finally rescued. His 9 siblings and father survived. His mother was never found....
The man who saved the young Elidon, was the old Sergeant Major, Eurik. Once the reconstruction and clearing of the land was complete, Elidon frequented the Sergeant Major's home. Eurik told Elidon of the glory to be had, he told you young man about his time in the Imperial military, his exploits to the far reaches of space and the great honour he felt while serving under Darth Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant.
Driven by this lust for adventure, excitement and something more than just remaining a mere farmer, Elidon signed up with the Maija Millitia at the first available chance. By the time he was Eighteen, the War with Zakuul had begun. Fortunately for him, the Planet was unscathed by the war, too small and insignificant a target for the Zakuulan fleet to bother with. But when he saw the ruins of Kaas City, the damage that had been done by the Eternal Empire, he knew his time to leave his farming planet had come. As platoon leader of his militia, he was hoping to serve in a similar command role in the Imperial Military, but he had no such luck. 3 years of his life given to the militia, was for nothing.
"The Maija Militia Corps is nothing in comparison to the Grand Imperial Army." He remembers being told as his officer application was shot down.
Placed again as a Private, he faired well in his training, the years on the farm had made him a lean and strong man, despite not being the largest of bulkiest of his training group, he could best most in most physical activities.
"Aristocracy can makes you weak." He reminded himself silently, when the sons and Daughters of aristocrats talked down to him for being from such an insignificant planet.
He finished the academy third best in the class, and then finally found himself specializing in long range missions.
Recon, Sniping, Scouting, Survival expertise.
His Current qualifications are as follows:
> S.A.R.V (Small Armed Recon vehicle) Level 1&2 Certificates, enabling the use in the field of Speeder bikes up to 500CC's engine size and walkers up to a maximum weight and height of 3 tonnes and 15 feet tall.
> Advanced Survival in Arctic Climates
>Advanced Survival in Temperate Climates
>Advanced survival in Arid Climates
And finally
>Aquatic Vehicle handling level 1&2.
Once out of the Academy, he was stationed on the Imperial Harrower Class Star Destroyer the 'Epsilon' as infantry support on board, whilst stationed, he was used as a planetary surveyor on the ground, to find ideal landing spots for the Ship to refuel in potentially hostile space. Also securing an area with his Squad the "Banshee" Squadron.
Banshee Squadron were designated to clear areas of hostile foes from a-far and ensure that areas were secure. Scouting them for resources, friendlies or hostiles, path ways for larger vehicles and other utilitarian activities.
When Empress Acina called for the Empire to take up arms and wage war against Zakuul with the Alliance, Elidon was posted at Muster Station LD-422, (A.K.A Lower Deck Portside Hangar Deck) and whilst the Epsilon engaged the Eternal fleet, he faced down Skytrooper and Zakuulan boarders alike.
Officers noted his use of a Rapid Recon Walker in the hangar fight using it as both a Melee attack vehicle, kicking and crushing Skytroopers and a ranged, using it's two-Twin laser cannons stationed on the vehicles sides or "Cheeks" and it's high powered 'Chin' mounted Plasma Cannon to devastate the heavier of armed Zakuulan Sky troopers.
Despite the Victory in the Hangar bay, he was no longer permitted to serve with Banshee Squadron or any of his other troops with whom he had trained. For unknown reasons he was transferred to the command of House Horuset's military division.
