“Graceful yet devastating, feared yet respected.”

Personality

Precise, would be the word to describe Khirus. Precise in his day to day activities no matter if it’s time for his craft as a jeweler or training in the martial path. Born into long line of artisan family, Khirus has never enjoyed the clothes made from the finest materials nor the most exotic of meals but it would be foolish to call his family poor. House Tadzu could be categorized as a middle class family with strong sense of proud in their crafts and their skills as craftsmen. Even though Khirus is far from being old, he takes great pleasure in philosophical discussions, understanding the power behind words.

Outfit & Weapon

Protection without sacrificing too much mobility. Khirus uses robes and long tunics with simple boots most of the times, when he is not required to wear his Acolyte robes. Due to his craft and the name of his House, the young Pureblood owns formal attire, black suit with red sash wrapped around his shoulder and gloves with golden trims, for situations where he must present himself and acquire future orders and possible business partners. Khirus is not one to reveal too much of himself, so only times he uses little to none clothing is when he practices, to minimize the folds and loose clothing which might get caught.

Childhood & Becoming and adult
3657 BBY || 4 BTC

Born on the planet Ziost, Khirus is the first and only son of House Tadzu. His father Orush, was the mastercraftsman of the family who taught his son everything he knew in the ways of jewelsmithing from the day when Khirus’ fingers where nimble enough to hold the small and delicate tools needed to craft the most finest of necklaces and rings. Orush sparred with his son too but was nothing compared to Arylis, mother of Khirus and the leader of House Tadzu. Silent, cruel but rewarding woman was the primary teacher in the martial arts for the House Tadzu and expecially to her son until the day when Khirus was sent to Korriban, where he could hone his skills.

“No no, boy, look how I do it.”, said Orush with a slap on his sons fingers after he had melted a slab of silver too hot and thus, beyond use. The Pureblood man moved the small flame over new slab in small, circular arc until it turned to white and then to orange indicating it’s correct time to be poured inside a small mold. Orush placed the mold underwater to cool it down before opening it and revealing a perfectly shaped hexagon. “You will learn this in time, but I don’t accept too many failures, do this wrong too many times and you will lose a finger.” Khirus nodded in understanding, and did exactly like his father showed and not long before he would open the mold and take the hexagon, although not as perfect as his father, and turning it before his eyes.

Orush perked a brow before giving a small nod. “Now I will show you how to move from here.” Hours passed by and as the father and son crafted Khirus’ first rings and one bracelet, Orush also showed how to carve different materials also instructing how to heat different materials between the working stages to the material in use was easy to form yet strong enough that it would not break. After few more hours, Arylis opened the door in the workroom and offered a slight loving smile towards her husband but as she turned her eyes upon Khirus, her expression was empty and without emotion. “Your time tinkering with your father for today is over, clean your workstation and follow me.”, Arylis said with commanding tone which Khirus noticed and quickly started to clean the table before jumping off the stool and following his mother.

Now ten year old Khirus took heavy breaths, sweat glistening on his red brow as he just barely dodged a thrust from his mothers quarterstaff. “Do not dodge it, parry it and counter attack!”, the woman shouted and quickly after performed a sweep and heard her son hitting the ground with a loud thud. “Mo.. Mother.. I don’t have any strength le-“, Khirus’ words would be disturbed with a swing of his mothers staff, a swing with connected straight to his jaw and knocked him out. The boy shook his head after few minutes had passed, and then meeting his eyes with his mothers. “If you -ever- end up in a war or duel, the opponent does not give you time to rest nor he or she will show you any mercy, boy.. My only fear is that you will become nothing, be nothing and because of that, will bring dishonor to our name.” Arylis sighed as she extended a hand towards her son, offering to help him up. Khirus looked between the hand and her mothers eyes before attempting to grab it, only to receive a strong punches after punches which left him scarred and unconscious. “Idiot..”, was the last word he heard.

Courier was waiting outside the training chambers and clicked her heels together before bowing. “My lady, a message for you. If you read it with haste and write a response I will be on my way quickly after.”, the courier informed and with a raise of her brow, Arylis opened the message and after reading it, went to search her husband. Moments passed and Khirus took the liberty to freshen himself and treat his wounds in the baths, before going to maintain the training gear and oiling blades and sewing leather armors whole again. His parents nearly kicked the door open and looked at him. “Son, you are being sent to Korriban, we do not take no for an answer and frankly, neither us or you have the choice.”

Khirus stood inside the Archives, reading huge collections of data what Korriban’s Academy had gathered inside it’s walls, his training blades leaning next to him. Acolytes, Apprentices and even few Lords of the Sith passed by, Khirus showing proper respect towards those above his rank. Large and muscular Acolyte slammed his hands on the table. “You, runt, now is the time for your education.”, said the large Acolyte smirking and revealing one rotten teeth inside his mouth. Khirus turned his eyes away from the datapad to stare directly in the Acolytes eyes, before speaking in calm tone. “I know your skills with a blade being as rotten as your dentition, Hurul, so leave me be and go pick someone you can intimidate.” Khirus felt a gust of air as the large Acolyte shouted and swung his fist towards the young Pureblood, which he dodged by kicking the chair away from the table and rolling past the large Acolyte and grabbing his blades, pointing them towards the larger Acolyte. “Let’s settle this where it belongs, in the Training Pits.”, Khirus said before placing the blades on his back and making his way outside, bowing to one of the Overseers on the way who heard the exchange.

The young Pureblood stood on the cool sand, twirling his blades in small and then wide circular motion, warming up his muscles and loosening the tension what the long sitting made to his tendons. A crackling sound of lightning was heard from inside the Academy and not long before the burnt and blackened body of the larger Acolyte was carried away and towards the tombs for the beasts to feed upon. “He bumped to someone he was supposed not to, Acolyte Tadzu.”, one of the other Acolytes shouted to him from the ledge of the Pit. Letting his head to fall backwards and shaking it, Khirus sighed in disappointment before starting to train in sequences, since his training partner was being devoured. Years passed and Acolytes came, some disappeared and some were lucky enough to found a Lord to teach them and some simply fell to the schemes of their fellow Acolytes. Khirus didn’t trust anyone and always walked his surroundings clear to him, back against a wall as much he was able.

Lectures, lessons and seminars about the Sith Culture, Sith Code and Ancient Sith were listened and years put behind training in the martial path had made Khirus into skilled combatant, but still he felt that he was not ready, not good, strong or fast enough to impress his mother. “Acolyte Tadzu, word from Ziost.”, said an Imperial soldier carrying a small datapad which he presented to the Pureblood. Khirus nodded once to the soldier as he took the datapad and checked it’s content with interest and haste. His mind went numb and heart felt heavy as the words burned to his retina. His father was dead along the whole Ziost and the whereabouts of his mother where currently unknown. Khirus gnarled and grinded his teeth together and started to beat the training dummy in fit of rage after the initial shock went by. His first suspicion was that his mother killed her husband and fled for some reason, not even remembering the fate of Ziost in the same message. Spite pouring between his lips, the young Pureblood beated the dummy in near savage fury. “I will kill her.. I will kill her when I am strong enough and take the House back.. That Red Bitch..”, Khirus spoke outloud and turned to look that did someone hear him. A figure slipped away from the ledge of the training Pit, but Khirus couldn’t tell was the figure someone he knew.

Current time

Years passed, Eternal Empire, The Outlander and war was in everyones mind and topics of discussion. The war eventually ended against the Eternal Empire, and the Korriban Academy which suffered major lossed and structural damages were rebuilt and the life there was again normal, as normal as it could be in Sith life. Khirus had survived the initial assault. He heard whispers about a woman resembling his mother being perished during the war but he didn’t see the body nor anything close enough to proof, so he assumed his mother being alive still. “Khirus! Khirus! By the Empress where are you, you daft bastard!”, yelled a female Acolyte who was the closest thing what one could call a friend, although true to his personality, Khirus didn’t view this female as a friend, only as an ally and person who most likely wouldn’t stab him between the ribs. “Khirus, get your nose away from the datapads and follow me!”, Miresh said as she started to yank Khirus way from the datapads. With a heavy sigh and rolling of his eyes, Khirus followed the woman. “What is so important that you took me away from the knowledge?”, the young Pureblood asked with clear irritation in his voice. “I have been keeping my ears open more than my eyes, now listen carefully.”

Khirus gathered his belongings and said his farewells to Miresh, who has herself shipped to another place, before making his way towards the shuttles and the new place of knowledge and training, which hopefully would make him wiser, stronger and more skilled. An insignia of House Horuset would flash before his eyes, as Khirus saw the announcement in the HoloNet during the flight to Dromund Kaas.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
