Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

A file would be present with a prerecorded holomessage that would play once the viewer selected the option to do so. Annabelle would appear in the message, the blue glow would cover the finer details of her face but those who recognise her, would know whose file this was. The lean female Human would stand in the frame, her hair would be loose, ending past her hips. She would have her signature diadem resting softly on top of her head. Her clothes would be her cloth attire, but with the blue glow, it is difficult to see the detail and the colour, but it seemed as she was wearing a long sleeved dress. Her expression would be stern, showing the seriousness of the message, and her tone would match the serious nature:

"As some of the Acolytes may recall, there was a mission that I thought the Acolytes could complete as a Trial. However, with their shuttle crashing, I took it as a sign that the Acolytes would of failed the mission. Hence why I am making this open to a small group of experienced people. Should Acolytes wish to attend, not my business, but there should be those of higher rank, be it Apprentices or Imperials that should take charge. The mission is this: There is an abandoned warehouse on Tatooine that is currently being guarded by a band of bandits. Inside the warehouse are crates filled with items that could prove quite useful and valuable to the Powerbase. All I heard from my source is that these bandits have the habit of stealing Sith artefacts and precious and dangerous weapons. Your goals would be to head over the warehouse, kill every witness there and bring back every crate unopened. Should there be a crate that has been opened or damage, you will suffer the consequences. Complete this mission successfully, you will have earned my favour and you will be compensated."

With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.

Location: Tatooine is a well-known desert planet. Heat is a common enemy.

((OOCly: Any warehouse on Tatooine can be used, specially the ones out in the Dune Sea.))

Objectives: In this task there will be three primary objectives.


Primary Objective I: Recover all crates, ensure they are close and undamaged during transport.

Primary Objective II: Kill all bandits, leave no one alive.

Primary Objective III: Ensure no trace can be make back to the Powerbase.

Time Frame: The team will have 28 days to complete the task before another will have found the sought after research.
((The 18th of December will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Apprentice Annabelle is that a party size between four and six, no more.

We can proudly report that we have succeeded in the following objectives:

Primary Objective I: Recovered all crates, ensured they were close and undamaged during transport.

Primary Objective II: Killed all bandits, left no one alive at the site.

Primary Objective III: Ensured no trace could be made back to the Powerbase.


Detailed Report:

The shuttle landed approximate 500 meters away from the warehouse during cover of darkness. The warehouse was heavily guarded with regular patrols around the perimeter with towers lighting up the surrounding area. There was little room to advance, only temporarily shadows granted between the ever moving light from the towers. Two squads were on patrol, 4 in each, and moved along the walls of the warehouse. 

Once landed upon the planet in the middle of the night, we were sent to the coordinates of the facility. After scouting the area around the warehouse, Acolyte Lao made her own way towards it, without informing the others, at least not in a way that was understandable to the rest of the group, as she does not speak Basic. The remaining squad members, then followed and provided her with cover distraction. Once the remaining squad arrived at the building, unseen by the light from the towers, we engaged one of the patrols using stun grenades before opening fire. With the forces combined, we successfully managed to take out those four of the first patrol. However our actions didn’t go unnoticed, as we were also successfully of drawing the attention of the remaining guards and light of the towers upon us. This was however intentional, in order to draw them out from the warehouse where the relics were being held. During this encounter we also successfully cut the power cables to the light in the towers, which ultimately resulted in fighting in the darkness, but also later covered the shuttle from being spotted by the time of extraction. 

We chose the battlefield, and we choses it to be fought outside. After our first encounter with the first patrol, reinforcements arrived around the corner behind the supporting squad, and another encounter ensued. Private Adonis, who also got hit in left shoulder by this new attack fired back along with Private Srano. They managed to take down some of the incoming guards, while at the same time Acolyte Amythia force pushed a nearby crate, that was stacked outside the facility towards the two remaining guards. Crushing them alive like bugs. Time was running short as we quickened the pace proceeding towards the entrance of the warehouse. Acolyte Amythia’s senses picked up the relics within the building, confirming their location.This is also were we found Acolyte Lao, wounded in a corner. It didn’t take long before the guards by the entrance, one by being on a balcony and two approaching in melee, attacked the now combined squad. Private Srano managed to pinned down the one on the balcony, as he finally rose to counterfire he was swiftly dealt with by the support of Private Adonis. 

As the two guards approached using sabers, Amythia used a borrowed blade to slice the a guards throat, while Private Srano opened fire towards the guards flank. Acolyte Lao crippled the other who was then finished off by Private Adonis. This final encounter however left the squad with little time, and the group to proceed further into the building. This is were five unopened crates stacked on top of eachother was spotted. Acolyte Amythia confirmed those were the crates we were looking for. This is when we heard reinforcements were incoming on a fallen guard’s com unit. Shortly thereafter the squad could smell the results of cutting the cables to the towers, until now had gone unnoticed that a fire was spreading, rapidly so. The squad called in the transport shuttle and hurried by carrying them out. Due to the darkness and the limited amount of the light, the shuttle successfully made it into space without drawing too much attention by the incoming reinforcements.
