Day 1
Annabelle decided to head to Korriban after she had spoke to Lord Tokiai. He had given her a task to complete over the next few days. The task would help Annabelle would her split personality issue. He told her to go to Korriban, twice a day and balance a rock on her head as she would have to recite the Sith Code. She would have to do this for the next ten days, however with each new day, she would have to add a new rock, so that be the end of the ten days, she would have to balance ten rocks on her head.
Annabelle sat in the shuttle, feeling slightly nervous, as she read through the Sith Code on her personal datapad, making sure she would know if off by heart. After some time the shuttle landed on Korriban, a planet she was not familiar with. She would look around, filled with awe as she saw the ancient statues and the buildings. She thought to herself that one day she would return here and explore this planet to her heart's content.
After a few minutes she found a secluded spot and thought that this would be the best place for her. She then took a rock and placed it on top of her head. Trying to stand completely still, she began to recite the Sith Code. She was close to the end when her other side decided to show up.
AE - "This is so stupid!"
The rock fell on the ground and Annabelle spoke: "Would you shut up? I am trying to learn here."
Her head tilted to the left and chuckled in a mocking way. AE - "By balancing a rock on your head by saying some fancy words? Yeah that for sure will get rid of me, you idiot."
Her head quickly moved to the right. A - "Shut up!"
Annabelle picked up the rock again, placed it on top of her head, took a deep breath and started over. Her focus was on reciting the Code properly while ensuring the rock would not fall. She then got to the end of reciting the Code and the rock remained. She smiled lightly and muttered to herself. A - "Who is the idiot now?"
She then left the rock on the ground, knowing that she would come back later in the day to repeat this again. She planned on reciting the Code twice when she came back that evening. She wanted to so badly get rid of her alter ego and would do anything to make it happen.
(OOC Note: AE - Alter Ego. A - Annabelle.)

Day 2
Annabelle went back to Korriban, making her way to the location she chose the day before. She saw the same rock on the ground and took it in her hand and began her search for a second rock.
AE - "Annabelle, this so stupid I feel like I am losing brain cells each time you look for a rock."
A - "I did not ask for your opinion so shut up already and don't disturb me like you did yesterday."
AE - "Stupid, stupid and what was that word again? Oh yeah stupid!"
Annabelle took a few deep breaths to calm herself, trying to push her other self down. She then found her second rock and started her task. She put the two rocks together and placed them on her head. She tried so hard not to move as she felt the small weight on her head. She closed her eyes and would calm herself as she began to recite the Sith Code.
A hour went past. Within that hour, the rocks fell a few times as Annabelle was not use to balancing rocks on her head.
AE - "You could carry bags of rocks as a slave but can't balance two on your head... you are as weak as you are stupid."
A - "Shut up already!"
Annabelle started to get angry but her focus was on completing the task for the day. Soon after she had done it, she was able to balance the two rocks, recite the Code in full and not letting rocks drop. Once she was done, she put the rocks down on the ground and made her way back to the shuttle, knowing she would have to do the same thing later that day. As she made her way back to the shuttle, she noticed that her other side did not say a word since Annabelle got angry.
A - "Must be working in some way.."
AE - "Nope."
A - "Dammit.."

Day 3
Annabelle did the routine, made her way to Korriban then would walk over to her spot, finding the same trow rocks from the day before. She would go and look for another rock that was equal in size as the other two. Eventually she found her rock and moved back to her place.
AE - "Oh goodie another rock for the idiot collection...yay..."
A - "With each rock, I am getting closer in getting rid of you so shut up!"
Annabelle felt the added weight on her head and she thought of how she would be able to balance ten rocks when she was done. She knew that it would be heavy, she knew it will be hard but she was determined to get rid of her other half before she would be killed by a powerful Sith in the House.
Annabelle struggled with the three rocks. The top rock would fall off every time she would finish the first line of the Sith Code. An hour had past and still no luck. She took the three rocks off and took a deep breath and tried again, placing the rocks on top of her head and began to recite the Code. She was close to the end..
A - "Boo!"
Annabelle got a fright and her rocks fell on the ground. "You really are a pain you know that?"
Her other side laughs. AE - "Yeah but its fun watching you fail and to scare you like a mouse! You won't survive long dearie, not with me at your side."
Annabelle took a deep breath, chose not to speak and tried again. Her focus were on the rocks, keeping them balance, saying the Code out loud perfectly and she did. The rocks remained on her head by the end. She removed the rocks and placed them on the ground, she would be back soon to do it again. Twice a day every day for the next ten days. Getting closer to have her own mind, to be free, to be herself.

Day 4
AE started to sing. "Oh Korriban, a sand box filled with rocks for Anna to perform tricks like an idiot."
A - "You are stuck with me, so you don't have a say in the matter."
AE - "You never know Anna, maybe I will survive and your soft side will disappear. Think about that when you do your balancing act."
Annabelle stopped in her tracks when her other side said that. She wondered if this could be true. Could her other side win the battle of who would be in control? Would Annabelle lose the part of her that made Annabelle who she was before her side came along? She tried to calm her thinking as she found her fourth rock. She did what she had been doing for the past few days, balancing the rocks on top of her head while reciting the Sith Code.
A new day, a new rock added to the pile, each day it would get harder for her but Annabelle was determined to pass this task, now she was more determined for she wanted to win full control of her own body. It took longer than usual for Annabelle to succeed on this day as her mind was not focused, as it jumped from on conclusion to another. Eventually she managed to balance the four rocks as well as completing the Sith Code.
She walked back to the shuttle, her mind swimming with endless thoughts. She needed to be strong enough to win, to push down her other side. She was actually instructed by a Sith named Temekel that she would have to spend time in meditation, and that was what Annabelle was going to do and she knew where to go. She told the pilot to take her to Dromund Kaas, for she was going to meditate in the jungles. This way she could begin her next task as well as learn and fight to become stronger.

Day 5
Half way through, Annabelle started to feel more confident in her task as well as in her progress. As she went looking about for her fifth rock, she realized something.
A - "How will I be able to balance ten rocks on my head and not let my neck snap from the weight?"
AE - "That is the only flaw you see in this idiotic task? Why am I stuck with someone who is blind and stupid?"
A - "Why am I stuck with someone who does not understand the phrase 'Shut up!'"
Annabelle kept on pondering on what to do as she searched for her fifth rock. Upon finding one, she made her way back to her spot where her four rocks were waiting for her. Annabelle would then first place the four rocks on her head, waiting and standing still to make sure they are balanced, and after that, she would put the fifth rock on top. From the added weight, she could feel it in her neck, the pressure started to hurt her, it would distract her to the point that the rocks fell off a few times, hitting her shoulders or her foot.
Annabelle stared at the rocks at her feet, rubbing her bruised shoulder, and took a few deep breaths to regain her focus. She would then start again, placing the five rocks on her head, standing completely still as she recited the Sith Code. And she did it. Five rocks perfectly balanced at the end of her speech. She placed the rocks back on the ground in order to repeat it later the same day. She walked back to the shuttle, rubbing her strained and tired neck, knowing that tomorrow would be the sixth day, looking for the sixth rock. However she was pleased to see her progress as she made it halfway through her given task.

Day 6
Annabelle would have the sixth rock in her hand, walking slowly to her spot as she would ponder on how to do her task and not have her neck snap or have a dent on the top of her head. She would move her gaze from the rocks on the floor to the rock in her hand.
AE - "Give up already! I don't want to be known as the girl who died from balancing ten rocks on her head. That is just embarrassing!"
A - "I swear I am going to throw a party when you are gone."
AE - "Not if I throw one first Anna!"
Annabelle snarled lightly as she continued to look at the rocks. A thought then occurred to her the Force. Annabelle would pick up the five rocks, place them on top of her head, and would levitate the sixth one on top. She would keep her focus on each rock, making sure none would fall as she kept them in place using the Force. She was shocked when she reached the end of the Code and none of the rocks fell. For the first time, she completed her task in one round.
She then would levitate the rocks off her head and place them on the ground. She wondered if what she did was correct and was not cheating. She would still balance the rocks on her head, but now there would be less pressure on her neck, for she too felt that it would be an embarrassment if she died by balancing ten rocks on her head.

Day 7
Annabelle was getting closer to finishing this task. She felt excitement in the thought but at the same time, she was nervous. Each day would mean a new rock would be added to the pile. More weight, more stress, more mockery from her other half. However she felt more nervous, more afraid for the Pureblood Lord that gave her this task and she did not want to disappoint him, nor face his wrath.
Annabelle had to walk further away from her meditation spot to find a rock, seeing that she found six already close to the area.
AE - "How many more rocks Anna? I hate this task, I hate this planet, but I hate you more."
Annabelle shook her head, choosing to ignore her other half and focus at the task. Eventually she found her seventh rock, however she found a small pile of rocks. Therefore she would pick up the number she needed and walked back to her spot. Then she placed the next few days rocks in a pile on their own and turned to her other pile. She proceeded to sit on the ground, adopting a meditation position. Then she would use the Force to lift each rock and placed it on her head. One by one, each rock added weight to her neck and her but it did not waver her focus.
The seventh rock had been added at the top of the rock tower and she felt it, the new added weight. She kept her focus on keeping the seven rocks still as she started to recite the Code. Feeling the weight made her more determined to keep the rocks in place and it showed when she completed the Code and the rocks had not fallen. Annabelle would again use to the Force to lift the rocks off her head and into a pile on the ground, ready to be used later that day.

Day 8
AE - "Today is day eight! Who do we appreciate?! Not Anna, yeah!"
A - "Oh shut up will you? You are more a pain in my neck than those rocks!"
Another day, another rock for the pile on top of her head. She sat down in between the two piles of rocks, the one had seven rocks, the other had three. She then proceeded to sit on the ground, adopt a meditation position and began to lift the seven rocks onto her head. She took a deep breath, she got use to the weight but her neck remained to be in pain. From the corner of her eyes, she saw the other pile and lifted the eighth rock above and placed it at the top.
With the new weight added, she felt her neck hurt more, distracting her and gasped in fright when the rocks fell down. Some would hit her shoulders, her legs and ended on the floor.
A - "Eight seems to be a bad number for you Anna. You won't make it to nine nor ten. That is because you are as pathetic and weak as this stupid task, just leave it already!"
Annabelle sighed and shook her head. "I refuse to stop when I have come so far."
Annabelle would once again lift the eight rocks, placing them one at a time on top of her head. Once all eight were placed, she kept her focus in keeping her rocks in place while reciting the Code. She grinded her teeth from feeling the weight growing, but soon she sighed with relief when she managed to complete the Code without letting the rocks drop. As she lowered each rock onto the ground, she knew that tomorrow and the next day would be harder but she grew excited as she realized that only two days remain.

Day 9
'Two more days left.'
That thought went over and over in Annabelle's mind as she walked to her spot on Korriban. She made her way to her spot one more time and began her normal ritual. As the eight rocks rested on her head, she took a deep breath and proceeded to lift the ninth rock and placed it on top of her head.
AE - "Boo!"
A - Annabelle shook a bit and some of the rocks fell off the tower. "Come on.."
AE - "What? I haven't done that in a while."
A - "Just shut up."
She closed her eyes and took another deep breath, then started to lift the nine rocks and placed them on her head. Once all were in position, she spoke in pain from the weight of the rocks, taking longer than usual to finish the Sith Code. However she managed to finish saying the Code, but when it was done, she relaxed and the rocks fell from her head and would strike different objects.
A - "Dammit."
AE - "You are making this so easy for me, Anna."
Annabelle would shake her and got up on her feet and started to proceed back to the shuttle. She knew that later that same day she had to do better, especially when she knew that tomorrow would be her last day.

Day 10
It has come, the final day as arrived and this put more pressure on Annabelle, for this day would stand out more than the past nine days.
AE - "Finally its the last day. We will be done with this silly game, but sadly I am still stuck with this silly girl. I still don't see the reason behind this."
A - "You don't have to see the reason nor know it. You are nothing."
Annabelle felt a chance within her, feeling more angry at her other half and a bit more in general. She liked it. This new anger, she felt as if it fuelled her, giving her focus, giving her energy to complete this task. She felt more confident as she sat down on the ground and proceeded to first lift the nine rocks and placed them on top of her head in a sort of perfect tower. She looked at the last rock in front of her, feeling slightly sad that this was the last rock but felt more enthusiastic to complete it and to progress.
She felt her neck shake a little with the nine rocks on her head and proceeded to lift the final rock to be placed at the top. The moment had arrived, ten rocks had to be balanced as she recited the ancient Sith Code. She felt more weight on her neck as she began to recite the Code.
AE - "Boo!"
The attempt from Annabelle's other half did not work. Annabelle kept her focus, the rocks did not fall as she continued to recite the Code. When she had reached the end of the Code. She smiled but did not break her focus, and lifted the rocks off her head and let them rest on the ground. She stood up and looked at the rocks in awe and felt pride. She made her way back to the shuttle, it was a silent walk. It appeared that her other half chose to be silent, or Annabelle had begun to suppress her other half. Either way, progress was made and Annabelle felt like a new person.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
