NPC Name: Corran Kyrell of Corellia
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Presumed Hostile
Brief Desription: Corran Kyrell of Corellia is a Jedi Knight turned Sith Acolyte turned nomad. In the earliest histories of the Horuset Powerbase, when the ceasefire of Zakuul was enforced between the Republic and the Empire, the Horuset Powerbase uncovered a sect of Jedi that were operating outside the Republic, intending to find force sensitive children to bolster their next generation. Corran Kyrell was one of these Jedi who searched and was ultimately captured with their padawan learner being killed as a result. Tortured into submission, the now Sith Acolyte was a broken shard of their former self. Slowly making a small group of friends, Corran was broken a second time when they were all killed in a trial that he had been turned away from. Leaving into the Dromund Kaas jungle, Corran somehow got off-world and was discovered many years later by another generation of Horuset Acolytes on Tatooine. Not knowing who he was, Corran made it away back unto the unknown.
Faction: Republic / Independent
Notable Activities: A Jedi Recruiter, turned Sith Acolyte of the Horuset Powerbase, turned Nomad Wanderer. Adept with disguises and improvised crafting.
Last Known Appearance: Tatooine, in a cantina gathering information on what jawas had recovered.

NPC Name: Lord Bartolomé Verbenz-Grallo, Planetary Governor of Belkadan
The Blade of the North
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Neutral/Friendly
Brief Desription: A man of staggeringly good breeding, Lord Verbenz-Grallo stands at the head of House Verbenz-Grallo, a Kaasian noble house with a storied and proud legacy stretching back to the earliest days of the Exile, with blood ties going back further even than that. Bartolomé was raised with some of the finest tutors the Capital could provide, mentored in the arts of arithmetic, Imperial history, military theory and logistical science, for House Verbenz-Grallo has long owed its allegiance to the Sphere of Production and Logistics. Although he was a fine student in these subjects, more than any of the above he found his excellence in the bladework lessons imparted to him. When he came of age, he experienced a star-studded and short tenure in the Kaas Academy, earning a reputation as a masterful duelist. He ascended into Apprenticehood under Lord Denara, a career logistician who also rose from the old Kaasian nobility, and when she perished during the Battle of Taris he ascended to Lordship.

He has forged a fine legacy in his career - overseer of a large number of industrial and infrastructural assets largely across the Northern Territories, but it seems his true passion lies not in the Sphere of Logistics, where he serves, but in the affairs of war. He is known to be one of the most decorated individual warriors of the Northern Territories, and one of its most outspoken voices for conquest. He has developed a reputation for drawing inspiration from older Imperial military doctrines when commanding forces, but innovating on them in colourful, audacious ways, and he is a skilled leader of men. At present the Lord has two Apprentices, a savant in military logistics by the name of Apprentice Bonn, and a blossoming commander of siege warfare by the name of Apprentice Vogenn, both from good families in the Sith Core with strong military records in their bloodlines.
Notable Activities: During the ICOT, Lord Verbenz-Grallo joined with his cousin Director Grallo of ITEC to skillfully navigate complex alliances and secure himself the Planetary Governorship of Belkadan.

NPC Name: Darth Gorrovitz
The Warmonger
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: Rising as a Sith during the course of the Cold War, Gorrovitz was a fish out of water. From the very earliest days of his time in the academy on Korriban, after being picked up as force sensitive while a slave, Gorrovitz was defined by a slim avenue of focus. He was a beast, a howling, clawing creature whose lack of subtlety was only equalled by his surfeit of strength and ferocity. That is not to say that the Darth is without intellect, for he is possessed of a certain deep and basal cunning like that of a predatory animal, and those who underestimated his mental capacity did so at their very mortal peril. The Rattataki languished as an early Apprentice, until that is the Cold War ended and the Galactic War came roaring onto the stage anew. Gorrovitz earned several accolades during the war, savaging his foes and becoming a warrior of great fame, beginning a journey of bearing several distinct and gristly scars - including an entire section of his lip being torn away, exposing the teeth below. His journey to Darth was a direct one, many rivals on the road finding their skulls crushed into the oozing mud on the side of battlefields or their hearts torn out in their own estates.

A particularly notable tale of Gorrovitz comes during the early days of the war with Zakuul, when Gorrovitz reportedly tore the turret from a tank by hand. Gorrovitz has since become one of the major commanders of the Western Territories, and after ICOT the central point for an audacious new plan to drive a wedge into the Republic's heart...

NPC Name: Lord Beartis
The Frontiersman
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Neutral?
Brief Desription: Baertis is an unusual case, progeny of the closest thing that the Pureblooded race has to a middle class, he experienced Imperial society with more freedom than most Pureblooded youths do. Walking through the cities of the Imperial core, Baertis decided one thing; he was relentlessly, brutally bored by it all. Instead, he spent most of his time in the jungles, deserts and mountains of the Stygian Caldera. When he returned from his time in the Korriban Academy, during which he distinguished himself largely through survival techniques and a certain brusque combat style, he pledged himself to one of those rarest of things; A Sith of the Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy who devoted themselves to the bleeding edge of exploration, instead of honeyed words and ballroom conversations.

Baertis has since very rarely returned from the Eastern Territories, where it is said that he even spends a great deal of his time beyond the Galactic boundary itself, slaying terrible, strange creatures and exploring under the light of undiscovered stars. His return to participate in the eastern delegation of the ICOT was a surprise, as was his appearance - so unlike the typical Pureblood. Clad in shabby armour heaped with stacks of esoteric furs and pelts, a mighty lightclub hanging at his belt and consuming all the cigars and brandy the capital world could supply him with.
Surprising many, he departed the East in the wake of the ICOT to join himself to the West, as the leader of the scouting and vanguard forces of Darth Gorrovitz's fleets. What influence this unusual, but undeniably experienced, man will bring to the West is yet to be seen...
Notable Activities: Entered an agreement with Sith Stuza to provide a singular shipment of highly specialized construction droids, currently stationed in the Serpindal Shipyards

NPC Name: Darth Ordovis
The Chem-Baron
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: Darth Ordovis is certainly not the archetypal Dark Lord. A heavily overweight Twi’lek, Ordovis began his rise through the ranks during an age in which he couldn’t plausibly have very many more disadvantages. Yet rise he did, defying traditionalist sentiment and the condemnation of his physical condition through determination, intellect and the ability to fade into the background of a situation when needed. He joined the Sphere of Biotic Science, where he proved a seminally talented chemist. A Sith during the conflicts over Quesh, Ordovis became something of a stim and adrenal magnate, a significant supplier of the Imperial military and a driver of research into the industry. The Dark Lord is wealthy even by the standards of a Darth, and controls significant industrial assets across the Southern Territories. One of the major sources of back channels to the Hutt Cartel, Ordovis has strong alliances with several influential Hutts and believes firmly that the future for the Empire lies in forging closer ties to the Cartel, never mind that such a turn of events would make him one of the Empire's richest men.

Walking the halls of Imperial power in robes of elaborate silk, smelling strongly of the sickly sweet chemical reek of flowers, Ordovis is not a popular man but neither can he be said to boast many enemies. What ties and contacts Ordovis made over the ICOT can only be speculated on…

NPC Name: Darth Sophis
The Patrician
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: Aristophon Cecrophis was born into House Cecrophis during an age in which Ziost was second planet of the Empire, and in which his House was one of the oldest and most respected of the planet's bloodlines. From the Cecrophis estates on the chilly shores of the Hyperborean Sea, Aristophon was raised to take the throne of his family. Groomed to be a philosopher, a diplomat and an administrator, he took to these disciplines well - but none more so than the former. Raised not as a traditionalist, but as a firm believer in aristocratic superiority, the inherent flawedness of any culture stemming from a planet outside of the Stygian Caldera, and in the glory of the Empire, Aristophon was the envy of the Ziosti socialite sphere. His handsome, aquiline profile earned him many suitors, and he started a romance with the heir of House Leontis, a smaller noble house with a military focus also from the region of his birth.  He graduated from the Kaasian Academy, and entered the Sphere of Sith Philosophy as an Apprentice, and then later a Sith. His romance with his sweetheart was formalised into a marriage, and soon after a family as their first child was born.
Then, the seminal tragedy of the Empire struck. Lord Sophis, as he was known at the time, was heading home when he was prevented from making planetfall and placed in one of the orbital stations. A crisis had hit the planet, and an evacuation was taking place. Before his family could join him, Sophis was forced to watch his planet die, devoured by his own Emperor. Many say that the grey streak in Sophis' hair dates back to this event, growing in when he watched all he cared for die, hopeless to intervene.

Despite this loss, or perhaps because of it, he threw himself into his work. Becoming a Darth a few years later, he now heads an ICOT-forged scheme to spread Imperial culture across the Outer Territories, though the cane headed by a representation of Ziost's orb in his hands stands as a reminder of his love for what was lost.

NPC Name: Apprentice Vers Onfim
The Hyena
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: A young Apprentice to Darth Sophis, Vers is a member of a particularly minor Kaasian noble family from the northern mountains - not entirely far from the Horuset estate. He has distinguished himself not by his blood however, or even some glowingly idealised career as a Sith. No, Apprentice Onfim is a dangerous man, and valued for it. Mischievous and cunning, Vers is a devilishly talented combatant with a reputation for low blows and an array of tricks that speak to an impressive resourcefulness. Possessed of a certain feral intellect and a seemingly limitless ambition, the handsome young man has been vocally opposed to what he sees as a certain unimaginativeness and inflexibility in the ranks of the Empire, though much like his master he too is a proponent of aristocratic power. Onfim is a darling of Kaas' courtly scene, both for his roguish good lucks, his daring sense of humour and his surprising ability as a painter, which is in demand amongst the noble houses.

As would be expected as an Apprentice at an occasion as rarified as the ICOT, Apprentice Onfim was credited with no direct advancements, but many do say that he was one of the most outspoken enemies of Mor-Vardrin at the ICOT, perhaps even more so than the Horusets.  His rivalry with Lord Verbenz-Grallo is well known, apparently resulting from the Apprentice insulting him during the ICOT, and a duel was issued at the time. He is apparently acting as the right hand of his master in the outer territories, walking their limits to inspect the progress of his master's project.

NPC Name: Darth Zudikas
The Dark Council's Emmisary
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Neutral?
Brief Desription: Darth Zudikas is an influential Darth within the Sphere of Galactic Influence and reportedly a close confidant of Darth Xarion; his ties to the Dark Councilor rumored to hail back to the Cold War in which he supported the, at the time, Lord Xarion in a conflict with Lord Anathal which briefly disrupted trade across the Stygian Caldera nebula. Since that time Darth Zudikas has developed a fearsome reputation as both a skilled diplomat and war leader. In recent years he has been instrumental in the Sith Empire's ongoing efforts to consolidate control over the fringe systems between the Empire and the Galactic Republic through shrewd diplomacy, the covert manipulation of local politics and military political intimidation or annexation. Most recently he has been seen in the Atrivis sector, acting as the Dark Council's emissary. Coordinating the Empire's plans, in the wake of the ICOT, to seize control over the entire sector, at any means necessary.
Notable Activities: Permitted a team from House Horuset to board the 'Bloodwyrm' during a joint-strike between the powerbase, and Sector Moff Graush's forces to slaughter a population of escaped Cathar refugees, on Namta Secundus.
Last Known Appearance: On board his flagship, the Harrower-class known as 'Bloodwyrm' in the Atrivis Sector

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
