Deep Salvage

This mission, sanctioned by Sith Vipion, was to enter the Rennar field and retrieve vital components of machinery that had been left behind. Assisting were:

Corporal Kienix: Point
Corporal Dew: Overwatch
Specialist Miriadas: Engineering and Extraction
Private Trisdane: Support

We moved swiftly to our destination after taking out a pair of scavengers at different points - getting down to the first husk of a building, Kienix and I cleared a pair of scavengers inside that were sheltering for the night. The next building, our destination, had everyone clearing out a trio more. Myself and the Specialist worked on getting the components from inside while everyone watched the final building, the old Barracks, which was full of more scavengers, using the bunks that had been in place.

Unavoidably, we had to continue engineering efforts outside - the Corporals and Private were required to fire with great prejudice, and keep the residents of the building busy. They bought enough time for us to load two last bags, and for everyone to get out before everything was bombarded. We crawled part of our way back, and the Specialist was struck by shrapnel in the arm - otherwise, we all returned with the payload. Mission accomplished with flying colors - everyone performed admirably.
