Sith Alchemy is often defined as a discipline of mystical dark arts.

Yet to confine the vastness of its truth in mere categorization of aesthetic arts is a disservice to the nature of what it truly encompasses.

By virtue, the nature of alchemy seeks to be the epicenter of drastic transformation in a realm of existence where patterns and algorithms dictates the course of life. Constant motion of change exists in biospheres and predatory cycles of faunas and floras and has been present ever since the conception of civilisations.

More so than a pursuit of change, it incorporates the will of the user to exact and dictate that motion. To utterly subject the fabric of our reality and to defy established laws of nature. Any true scientists would relish in that endeavor.

As an Arkanian, viewing alchemy as a mutually exclusive art would limit the grand overview of its concept and potential. The capacity to reconcile its similarities and differences in terms of the classical scientific art is noteworthy, it shows there are comparisons and parallelisms in multiple faculties of science such as genetics and metallurgy. Hence it is at times referred to as a 'Dark Science'.

The presence of the Force as a catalyst to stimulate transmutations of established properties of nature is omnipresent. Verily Sith Alchemy cannot be conducted without the usage of the Dark Side of the Force as the darkside embodies variations and mutations drawn from such enigmatic source. Often Jedi’s refer to this as ‘perversion’ of the ‘natural order’, but that inherently acknowledges its potency in instilling change within an object or living organism’s seemingly static properties.

Properties have an innate malleable factor to which as practitioners of Sith Alchemy, can induce a diverse array of conduct.

Transmutation is commonly known as the product of this art, often bizarre and lethal abominations are conceived through the perversion of its anatomical structure and mutating biological strands of its genetic material to produce lethal phenotypical expressions. Sithspawns of hazardous sizes are developed in such a way. An ancient renowned example is the Leviathans, the culmination of Sorzus Syn’s mastery to produce the serpentine abominations bioengineered to devour relentlessly in futile attempt to fulfill its insatiable hunger.

Metallurgy & Crystallography encompasses the tangible objects that are imbued with properties of the Dark Side, whether to instill beneficial properties or induce and harness malevolent energies. Modifications of armours, weapons and trinkets since time immemorial remains the primary focus of the study. To functionally augment the reserves of the Force and to enhance the dark side capabilities of the users. Synthesis and extreme focus in each molecule subjected onto crystals and metals requires hours of unwavering commitment, yet the perfection of the taint rewards the users with unimaginable power.

Though the infamy of Sith Alchemy lies within the rarest arsenal of a Sith Alchemist, the synthesis of Sith Poison. Alchemical mixtures of ingredients in flawless unity with the darkside imbues the substance with potentially lethal and devastating effects. Once injected into the bloodstream, the debilitating effects compels a lengthy and arduous painful process, as it tends to linger within the system of the being in question. A unique poison can force the afflicted to be able to only call onto the Dark Side of the Force, thus it is the most effective method of submission to convert those who dwell within the light.

I conclude this with a heavy heart, knowing that this particular essay merely scratches the surface of what Sith Alchemy entails, and speaks with hush volumes of its potential within the Sith. I endeavour to expand on the subject and perhaps one day write volumes in intricate details to contribute to the Sith.

By principle, Sith Alchemy seeks to dictate the fabric of reality by subjecting our will onto it, to reshape properties established by laws of nature to fit into our ideals. To deny this clandestine discipline is to deny ourselves of what it means to be Sith.

Afterall, Siths are those who traverses in opposition to the streams of fate and dictate the motion of change against the ‘natural order’.
