House Vipion
"Soti tuti ri Vipion"
Introduction
After the Great Schisms the Jedi exiled 12 of their number into the great abyss. This would be their very worst mistake, as these would be the 12 founders of the Sith Order as we know it today. After many centuries the teachings and philosophy of the Sith order still remain, but they are mired in the failing of the newer progressives who seek to undermine the old ways in the name of a future that only seems to fall apart further as the Sith as a whole steer away. With these lessons, it is no surprise one of the oldest houses advocate for stricter adherence to the rules set out by those very exiles we are all born from.
The alien, the progressive and the jedi are each as much a plague as the last. One that needs to be cut away and left to die like the cancer they are considered to be, nothing short of amputation will solve the issues that face all Sith today. Under the wise and careful leadership of Darth Coduno Vipion the House has come back from the very brink of destruction and remains, despite all it has lost, a faithful supporter of what it has always stood for.
It is for that reason the House of Vipion now finds itself the ally to House Horuset. Sharing the same ideological belifs as Darth Crannus Horuset, Darth Vipion negotiated the combining of the Houses to present a unified bloc of traditionalist power to rival any one progressive powerbase. Alongside personal assets House Vipion currently rules over their vassals, House Ronith and House Kraujas. The results have garnered repulsion from those too ignorant to see what it is the Sith need, but also admiration from those who now see the power of a single cause uniting some of the most ambitious Sith to live in the Empire. Purity is perfection. Pure is the Vipion.

Family History
The family history of the Vipions is long and complex, to try and recount every single happening with the detail and majesty it deserves would be a fool's errand. Instead, the most noteworthy events are recorded here - divided into the periods in which they occurred - perusal and commitment to memory.
House Vipion claims heritage as far back as the Kissai of Korriban, speaking highly of their own purity and connection to a worshipped past. Members of the House led tribes all across the surface of Korriban and were part of the court of Adas during his reign, fighting bravely with him during the war with the Rakata. Through their strength and indomitable will the forefathers of the recognised House today were priceless assets in the defeat of the hated enemy, the Rakata, and curried much favour with the then dying Adas. As such, having foreseen the profit to be gained from being on the earliest possible colonists to the nearby system of Ziost, requested such a right from their dying overlord. He acquiesced and so it was that the Vipion forebears travelled the stars for the first time.
Here, the blood of House Vipion settled roots and established power. The Kissai ancestors paramount to the construction effort of the Sith race on this new world, as well as becoming important leaders of tribal circles and making use of a natural affinity for the Dark side that exceeded many of their peers to bind and control the lower castes. With the planet Ziost’s subjugation by the Sith Empire House Vipion formed into something new, no longer feral and disjointed in nature. the family of Vipion worked as a more single entity, vying for power amongst themselves even as they fought all those around them as well. The rigid system suited the need for authority that all still crave, yet the warring nature of the political game made their lust for power an ever more a permanent desire. And it is here, that the history of House Vipion begins in a far more recognisable shape than before. Whilst the Dark Jedi Exiles went about the process of founding the First Sith Empire, House Vipion refers to this time as their ‘Reclamation’ as this was the point at which their history is more evident, the Vipions made themselves more and more vital to the growing political entity. It was at this time the first named pater of the family, Kroma Vipion, can be named with total certainty. An offspring of the Kissai for bearers and the new Dark Jedi, Kroma was a paragon of the virtues and traits every Sith must show, he is practically worshipped amongst the members of the House and rightly so. With "eyes the colour of amber and arms the strength of ten, he walked as a god amongst mortals and handed down his furious word."
With the establishment of the Sith capital on Ziost, Kroma became vastly powerful and wealthy. The family line having been present on Ziost prior to this time meant that many circles were sworn to Kroma and his relatives, such power allowed Kroma to make himself valuable in the new building programmes. Some of the Spires and Fortresses previously found on Ziost owed themselves entirely to the work of House Vipion’s serfs and the iron-fisted grip of it's pater.. But, gain was not to be found only on the holy soil of Ziost, and Kroma used this wealth to invest further, making House Vipion into something of a minor faction unto itself within the Sith Empire, allowing Kroma to benefit from leading forces across the new planets. Aiding in their discovery and then conquest before enforcing his will in the civilisation left behind, Kroma saw the Vipions spread from a single world to many, even if the ultimate mantles of the highest echelons continued to alude.
One of the most lasting foundations Kroma put into place was the first vassal House that the Vipion's would come to rule over. Ronith Vipion, a son to the venerable Kroma, who established biological and political links with the Zuguruk caste of the Sith and following the valiant and noble defence of numerous locations of historical and religious importance was granted the right to found his own clan under the condition of unwavering and eternal loyalty. The new House would become House Ronith, serving loyally to the Vipions as well as taking over the tasks of burying the dead and overseeing the religious practices of the House. Despite genetic inferiority due to the mixed caste blood of their ancestors, the House remains to this day staunchly loyal and close to the Vipions.
Following Kroma, a number of members of House Vipion rose and fell, each leaving a mark, but none ever achieving the same meteoric rise and blinding brilliance that he had. Paters such as Kithow, Zidash and Gelti alongside maters like Rhave, Ejoto and Chisus are but a few of the names that are credited to the House at this time. Protecting what had been seized whilst entrenching the name Vipion deeper into Sith and Ziosti soil. House Vipion was present for the divide of the Sith, between Kressh and Sadow, and their conservative agenda - already unhappy at the decline of Purity amongst the ruling Red Sith - lead to their support of Kressh. A source even quotes a member of the House standing at the funeral of Ragnos and crying out "we are with you, Lord Kressh! The serpent stands ready to strike." whilst Kressh and Sadow fought. Their ardent support for Kressh went beyond the surface, as they were swift to follow their choice for Dark Lord into space, rallying all they could from their extensive fold in a bid to win the brewing civil war. Members of House Vipion fought, died and found glory during the this chaos, but the cost was steep on their holdings and their number. The vast wealth and power once afforded to them dwindled, until Kressh’s apparent defeat over Khar Delba broke them and their hold over all they once had. The support of Kressh had cost House Vipion, stripped of dominions and power for their apparent treason they became exiles of sorts. Existing in secret on Ziost, they worked with other groups in exile to eek out a pitiful existence and plot their return to power. Because of this, House Vipion was not present amongst the ranks of those who went to fight for Sadow in the Great Hyperspace war, and was present for the rallying call of Kressh, having survived his seeming death. Promises of wealth and power were all the broken House needed to rejoin their former leader, and they were one of the first banners that stood proudly alongside their Dark Lord in the face of the half-blooded wretch.
Using natural power, and the power of what little that could be pooled together, House Vipion, at the time led by Warso Vipion, was flung back to prominence. Still based on Ziost, a planet they held close to their heritage, through their works to install Kressh as the Dark Lord they stole an upwind of resources and thralls to their service. They were successful and led a number of ships in the fleet that met Sadow’s retreating forces. This time the victors rather than the exiled, the members of House Vipion were filled with joy. This was short lived as soon the forces of the Republic came through the hyperspace lanes. Warso herself was killed in the conflict that would rip apart the Sith Empire, in her efforts to defend a Sith Temple on Ziost that the Vipion’s had built, by Jedi insurgents seeking to destroy all signs of the Sith and eradicate their memory.
House Vipion was decimated in this carnage, much like all else, and only a handful of members made it to the armada that would flee from the Republic and Jedi forces under the guide of Vitiate. During the wandering, House Vipion could boast for little, as little was achieved, however they managed to inject a representative during the first contact with the Chiss Ascendancy. A boon that even to this day draws some usefulness as the Vipions manage contact with the Chiss carefully. Truly, though, the regrowth began upon the discovery of Dromund Kass. Although Vitiate claimed this was the true home world of the Sith species, House Vipion had not forgotten the ages gone by on Ziost, and they longed to return to the days they had remembered. Even now this feeling remains and House Vipion years for a time when they can "rule over Ziost on high, from the pinnacle of resolute redoubts.". But, ever the pragmatists, House Vipion began to plot and move in ways to reestablish themselves as a power within the Sith. During the resurgence there was only four members of House Vipion left, four siblings, to carry on the name. At first they were nothing more than the blades of more influential Sith, striking from shadows and battlefield alike in their work to draw around them a shell of influence and wealth. It worked, to a degree, with the creation of the Vipion estate on Dromund Kaas coming from countless years of servitude. However, true power awaited them with the recolonisation of Ziost. Strings were pulled and chits called in to allow the Vipion house the rights to go back to their roots, once more ruining themselves in the process for that is how strongly the Vipions knew they must return. From here, an Empire within the Empire took root. Ziost was the ‘Gateway to the Empire’ and the wealth that came with this was vast indeed due to the shipping rights of the ministry of logistics being based here and the cargoes brought to the Empire through Ziost. A number of offices and warehouses in New Adasta belonged to the Vipions and they oversaw the rapid expansion of the logitical machines of the Empire as well as the transportation and procurement of resources.
Though whilst this all happened on Ziost the Vipions did not limit themselves to one avenue of advancement and three distinct branches of the family eventually formed. The first was obviously on Ziost, but the second remained on Dromund Kaas to rekindle what had been sold and given away in the bid for Ziost. As the new de facto capital of the Empire the Vipions had to retain a holding there also to keep a presence near the Dark Council or lose their relevance in the grander scale of things. It also allowed for some smaller alliances with some of the new noble Imperial families who dominated the command of the Imperial Navy and brought with it slight commands that only continued to increase the reputation of the Vipion family. Their estates on Dromund Kaas remained minor compared to other Houses, limiting themselves to a single spire at their prime and keeping the new temples and tombs they constructed out of the main cluster that formed. It was also this branch that first made contact with House Horuset, resulting in numerous marriages between extended families creating a small complex of tombs that to this day are still explored and renovated regularly.
The third, and final, branch of the family that formed would be one that returned to Korriban along with the fleets of Vindican and Malgus. This branch would come to be the least distinguished number in the Vipion clan and, whilst they were not an ignoble group, nor did they bring any glory upon the House. The most they ever did truly was build a small catacomb of tombs for the House well outside the Valley of Dark Lords and ensure they had a small set of offices close to the Academy on Korriban. Little in the grand scheme of things but allowing the House as a whole to attest to their work of improving the Sith from a base level and harking back to the Kissai roots already mentioned. To the living memory of the current generations of Vipions, the House had plateaued compared to it’s almost mythical foundation. Under the leadership of Kardiah Vipion the House had been taking a new route to prominence that was bearing some fruit and still retaining the dignity of the old ways. However the rest of the House was not quite following in the footsteps of the matriarch. The Dromund Kaas line was led by Coduno Vipion, and whilst the branch itself did exactly as was asked by it, Coduno choose to delegate running of the branch to his wife whom he had been betrothed to as a means to foster good relations as well as birth pure children.
Kardiah was a shrewd diplomat however and Coduno subtle for the most part, this created a basic understanding of remaining out of each other’s business which is why Darth Vipion does not often appear as his own representative prior to the fall of Ziost. Stories do not quite explain the terror that the decimation of the planet caused, not only for the inhabitants but for Sith across the galaxy. The very foundations and groundwork of House Vipion was wiped away by the hunger of Vitiate in a few days, with only a pair of survivors who were left scarred and shattered. The House came to the brink of ruin and one person was required to save it from teetering into disrepair.
Coduno rose to the challenge, in a matter of days he installed himself as the new heir apparent and brought together every remaining part of the family to drop that which was costing them and bind that which brought them resources. The cost was dear and Coduno had many broken relationships to be unseen, now he needed to be seen once more. Former contacts were sown to far reaching places and in recent years proved to reap some rewards. Sadly these rewards were reduced by the taxation and leaching of the Eternal Empire but it has made House Vipion a House to be reckoned with again. Following the dissapearance of the Empire, Darth Marr led the alliance of Sith and Jedi forces to Wild Space in an effort to hunt him down. House Vipion did not unite behind this policy and so was not there when the Eternal Fleet emerged and begun it's devastation of the galaxy. The bombardment of Dromund Kaas was a costly defeat and destroyed much of the Vipion holdings, the damage of which is only now being properly repaired whilst on Korriban the branch of Vipions residing there was devastated and reduced hugely in number. Unhappy but forced to bend the knee, House Vipion rested and recuperated under the watchful eyes of Darth Vipion.
Vipion House Members
A list of the currently important members of House Vipion alongside a brief history of their achievements and accomplishments. Whilst not a complete listing of every living member of the family, those who are not deemed worthy enough to be here are yet to prove themselves in the eyes of the chroniclers.
Darth Coduno Soinul Vipion, Patriarch of House Vipion, Treasurer of the Sith and Founder of the Conclave
By the grace of Typhojem Darth Vipion was born in 170 BTC, it is said on the night that he was born a snake found it's way into the bed, wrapping itself around the left hand of the newborn and biting him. The infant would survive this and go on to work diligently and leave the Sith academy on Dromund Kaas with flying colours, becoming the apprentice of a Lord T'dell who's work was focused on archeological digs and research on philosophy, the force and history. The work led the young Coduno to Voss, Alderaan, Ziost and numerous other planets in the never ending search for knowledge. Over time he begun collate a vast collection of archives and artifacts. Some of which had no merit what so ever except for aesthetic value and others held real worth in the force and in protecting the legacies of the Sith.
Coduno would have graduated his apprenticeship in the style befitting the old ways, by defeating his master in single combat. The execution of Lord T'dell had been swift, but Coduno had allowed the Lord title to slip to another, instead merely contenting in the rank of Sith as he built a power base outside of the dusty tomes of Lord T'dell. With this intact it would be with great applause that Coduno would fight in the resurgence of the Sith Empire. Taking part in the conquest of Korriban and the campaigns that followed he would make a name for himself, receiving his Lordship this time through his action in battle during the sacking of Coruscant. It was on Coruscant he would come to know Chaidus and Crannus Horuset slightly better, as all three were present.
However after this there would be a little contact and Coduno went about his work like before the Resurgence. Directing his resources into hunting out the treasures and mysteries of the Sith that intrigued him most. It was then he served with Th'Kranjensi alongside Lord Mink Larydae and Darth Mortain Morrigu as their Director of the Reclamation whose duties involved the recovery and protection of the Sith artifacts and histories. This would be incredibly fruitful and last until the death of Ziost and the emergence of the Eternal Empire. With the fall of Ziost Coduno would take the title of Lord Vipion, abandoning his personal pursuits to ensure he could keep his family together.
In doing this he formed a new Triumvirate of Houses, the Abyssal Conclave was founded and would fight the Eternal Empire from a hidden base on Tatooine taken from a deceased Mandalorian Clan that had declared itself to House Vipion. Throughout the war the Conclace fought with Coduno at the head however one base could not change the entire war effort and Coduno was forced to accept the peace along with all the Empire. It was during this fighting that Coduno was given the ascension to the rank of Darth.
Over the course of his life Coduno had sired numerous children and now looked to use them to expand the House, allowing the Conclave to become a new company of privateers headed by a former servant to his will. Alongside this he reformed the Broken Bone Society, formerly a group of snooty nobles who followed their hedonistic impulses, into a banking clan ready to serve. Finally Coduno returned to Th'Kranjensi, it had fallen apart with the departure of his former masters and so Coduno went about assuming control of the remains, seeing it as his right to continue the work of the orders he had helped lead. In time Coduno would ally his family with the Hourset line, seeking to create a more unified bloc of pureblood Houses.
Yutal Kroma Vipion, Heir to House Vipion, Former Triumvir of House Horuset, Head of Darth Horuset's Council, Son of Crannus and Coduno; and Lord Tokiai of the Sith
Yutal is the first born child of Sutmua and Coduno Vipion, the heir apparent and the highest ranking Sith in the House bar the patriarch himself. Yutal's birth was mired in complications and unforeseen issues that put questions over whether or not he (or his mother) would survive the ordeal. In time they did, but it took extreme care from medical experts and the final few hours, on the order of Darth Vipion, were done without any support at all. Their simple strength in the force and their body expected to carry them through. But seven years after their marriage, Coduno and Sutmua would welcome in a healthy baby boy with closed arms and stern gazes.
Yutal was a scrawny child, mostly skin and bones with ghoulishly pale skin. Whatever the complication had been, it was decided this would be Yutal's first test. A test of his ability to overcome. He was not treated, was not cared for, beyond the basic necessities given. His education was managed exactly like all the others within the House. Lessons on history of the family were used to teach Yutal to read and write before he could walk. As soon as he was capable of walking physical educations and blade training was added to his training regime. During these more youthful years Yutal experienced some open affection from his mother, Sutmua, whom supported him more so than his distant father in his lessons and the tutoring he received.
Yutal's affection from his mother swiftly vanished though as he became older, both parents distancing themselves whilst also subtly increasing the volume of lessons and religious practices that mentally conditioned Yutal's worship of his family and of its patriarch. He would go on to attend the Dromund Kaas academy for Sith in the shadow of the records of his father. Yutal was not nearly as successful, and after passing his trials adequately he left to join the Azure Academy under Darth Verdoorn. It was here that he met Ahandra Yaria Horuset, his future master and wife. The pair conducted a number missions together, with Ahandra stepping in to take Yutal as a protegee. He was a loyal servant and when Ahandra (along with all of her loyal adherents) left to join her father, Darth Horuset, Yutal was amongst them and found himself ascending to be the apprentice to Lord Saud.
During his time as an apprentice Yutal took up expanded responsibility in House Horuset, as well as mastering the alliance that would form between the two Houses. Yutal's part was played in establishing connections with a cartel run by the 'Collector', in the capture and exile of Zarrious and the creation of the acolyte system to see a brand new breed of traditionalist Sith. It was through this work, alongside the tutorlage of Lord Saud, that Yutal managed to ascend immediately to the title of Lord, taking the name 'Tokiai' (meaning Smoke), as an honour to both his father and his master. Yutal was also granted a place on the council of Darth Horuset to help run the combined efforts of all the Houses that had rallied to the cause.
From now until the then present Yutal has worked tirelessly, his efforts focused on the direction of the Houses and on empowering the purebloods of the Empire. Towards this goal the marriage to Ahandra, his former master, was orchestrated and carried out. Whilst the children would take the Horuset title, the contract was drawn that House Vipion would not follow this line of succession. Yutal was still heir apparent, but the next heir would be chosen by Yutal with the condition being his own children could not inherit. And now, Yutal rules with Ahandra over the coalition of Houses, after Darth Horuset and his sister Lord Korriz took leave from running of things.
With the return of both Lord Korriz and Darth Horsuset, Yutal retained his place on the council to the Dark Lord, but his immediate position as defacto ruler was stripped. Despite this step down, Yutal continues to perfect his physical skills as well as hone down philosophically what it means to be of the Sith. This path has brought him new opportunities within the Houses and the Empire, ones that in the future could be of great value to the Lord Tokiai. The skill in which he might better himself would become apparent as, with another departure of Darth Horuset into the confines of his own studies, Yutal waa named as the head to Darth Horuset's council and finds himself once more at the head of the Houses bloc that even now busies itself dictating to the Empire at large the policy to be followed. Raeniu Doazi Vipion, Neophyte of House Horuset
Raeniu Vipion was the second child of the Sith Sutmua and Coduno Vipion, She was born a relatively healthy baby with red skin and a lithe frame, one that would stay with her most her life. She would be granted the education that all Vipions receive when they are growing up, learning High Sith primarily, then basic, giving herself an accent to her basic. At the age of five she was presented before Coduno Vipion and as was expected she presented her knowledge to the Patriarch.
When she reach adolescence she was sent to the Drommund Kaas Academy like her older brother had been before her, she had excelled well in her force training and her academic work but her blade skills were noted as being below average for her group, nonetheless she had graduated from the Academy and had been adopted by House Horuset's Acolyte training regimens while still adhering to the private Vipion tutors.
While an Acolyte she would blunder during her first trial but from the second trial onwards she would excel above her peers even entering into the top group of Acolytes within the trials and being part of a group that took down a Terentatek. Shortly after finishing her trials she would ascend to Apprentice and rightfully so, attaining the privilege to use her family name as part of her own, she was now on her way to become a Sith and had become a proud member of the glorious House of Vipion. Soyut Kulut Vipion, Sith Mohtoni of the Sith Order
Soyut was the third child to Sutmua and Coduno Vipion, being born alongside his sister (Ayinon Kaeryth Vipion) as a twin. Being the stronger of the pair and this would show constantly through the coming years of their time with one another, Soyut being the second brother to come into the family would have shoes to fill like none other, always being pushed under the tower of a shadow that his brother cast, as well as the skyscraper that was his father, but this would not come to crush the pureblood, no. This was simple motivation.
Much like his siblings before and after him Soyut’s training began as soon as he was able. As a toddler Soyut would learn not only High Sith but basic, his readings on culture as well as writing would be done alongside these lessons. All of which was taught by the house’s members or his Mother, but this was not to last, what would seem like mother love being tore away much earlier than other purebloods may have. Leaving the boy to his studies and the ever-watchful eyes of the Vipion house staff.
It was here when Soyut reached a slightly older age, being when he could take his first steps the real carving and moulding of a warrior took place. His lessons skyrocketed, from physical training to mental, Soyut was pushed to his limits day in and out to break him into a mindset that would only provide for his house. In was in this time Soyut made many an effort as well as enjoyed his time with his brother (Yutal) much like brothers do Soyut would get some assistance, though little from his brother, but this was short lived, seeing as soon as the day his brother left in the robes of an acolyte to the academy he was a changed man. In what would be classed as an instant gap being made between the pair. And it has never been the same since.
At this stage of the young purebloods life he would take his steps to joining his siblings at the Dromund Kaas academy. This would come with joy but also follow in many cases as dread, fear of not living up to the standards set by not only his brother, but his father. It would be at this academy that Soyut would prove he is not a useless worm, coming near top of his class on studies as well as his combat, but coming nowhere near the scores of his brother and father. As such, nothing to show.
It was from here Soyut was transferred to House Horuset, being crushed in hopes and mindset to succeed it was proven day after day that this houses rules and acolytes were far stronger than the likes of where he had come but this would only act as motivation for him to push onward. Removing himself from being just a bookworm Soyut would rise in the ranks of acolytes crushing those below him in terms of scores and knowledge and from there score what can be seen an outstanding set of notes from his trials, thus earning him the right of apprentice to Lord Saud alongside his cousin Temekel Kardiah Vipion and sister, Raeniu Doazi Vipion.
It is from that point Soyut has taken every chance and effort to prove his worth to not only his master but his house he serves with honour, this has all been showcased by his work with his master alongside the results that have come to light of his duties. Soyut's efforts are currently to focus on his studies and improve as a sith to one day serve House Horuset as an Overseer.
After years of effort. Soyut had come out of his apprenticeship a model student. Having a perfect track record. Not a mission failed. Having passed by the fellow apprentices under Lord Saud and pushing them into the dirt. Leaving them known to be useless. He made sure to progress higher than most. Building a reputation of fear and respect. Soyut would go on to lead many missions, strike forces as well as building up his knowledge and power to a skillset like an Overseer. This would go on until he ascended. Soyut now currently stands at the title of Sith, with the name of Sith Mohtoni. Working towards the title of Lord. Soyut has expanded his knowledge into saberforms as well as taking two apprentices. That of Uldrinn Yurad-Tol a human who has proved his worth. And Khatatas Ronith. From here. Soyuts focus is to become Lord. As well as work towards advancing his powerbase and allies.
Jen'Kaar Naktis Vipion, Apprentice to Lord Saud
Five years after the Treaty of Corruscant, from father Coduno and mother Sutmua, the youngest of the (known) offsprings was born into the prestigious Vipion heritage during the late hours of the evening, just before midnight, thus being named Jen’kaar Naktis (rough translation from High Sith of her first name meaning “Dark Keeper” and middle name meaning “Night”).
As a toddler, Jen’kaar was taught basic skill even before she learned how to walk, emphasizing on reading and writing as early as possible. Mother Sutmua would have shown some affection and motherly love at times yet to a certain degree, whilst her father would be distant mostly, except for the times when she would be taken to him in order to perfect her speak in High Sith. He would never offer praise yet not much in the way of punishment during the times Jen’kaar’s actions and efforts resulted in failure.
As a young child however, lessons got harder, both physical and mental. The basis upon which her early steps into training to becoming a sith were those of perfecting one's physical shape and mental acuity, in order to achieve the high standards which were expected by her family. This would all be encompassed in starting basic saber training in Form 1 alongside studying literature, history, arts and a mix of cultural and scientific pursuits. These would be done at home, by private tutors and mother Sutmua who by now had cut away all love and affection, which was to be expected as it was tradition. Her father grew even more distant, and the mental conditioning to adore and love her family, to work in the benefit of the House was included in her upbringing by now.
As a teenager, Jen’kaar was sent straight away to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas to become an acolyte there, since the one on Korriban was either for slaves or those without money, the one on Dromund Kaas was the obvious choice not just for her, but for all of her older siblings as well. There, the curricula would include further lessons in saber training, literature, history, arts, and since the academy was designed to a similar way some boarding school are, each acolyte was forced to move into the standard living quarters (called “cells”) which were provided. After several years of perfecting herself as an acolyte, gaining a reputation of being ruthless, efficient and cold blooded, she passed her final trials with flying colors, and one day an Overseer summoned Jen’kaar and informed her that her family has arranged for her transfer to House Horuset. This came to no surprise for Jen’kaar, as not just her, but all of her other siblings knew their path of ending up within House Horuset eventually.
Spending roughly over a year as an acolyte within the Horuset powerbase, and after having proven herself in her numerous acolyte trials, eventually Jen'kaar was taken as an apprentice by Lord Saud, who which she still serves to this day.
Ronith House Members
A list of the currently important members of House Ronith alongside a brief history of their achievements and accomplishments. Whilst not a complete listing of every living member of the family, those who are not deemed worthy enough to be here are yet to prove themselves in the eyes of the chroniclers.
Zutauha Kroma Ronith, Apprentice to Lord Kalkoran
Zuta is the fourth-born child of Darth Ronith (Tzihra Ronith) and Lord Wirmsi (Tzitsia Ronith nee Vipion), born a few years before the treaty of Coruscant and raised on the vitriol spit about it. Her father chose to groom her for the same path he had followed, and that her eldest brother had in turn. This had her studying military history, strategy, marksmanship and martial arts in order to prepare her for leading and fighting alongside troops.
Her training began early and as a child she often spent any time she had studying saber form theory or training her physical condition in the family estate on Ziost, frequently learning from members of House Vipion and alongside their scions, most notably Temekel Vipion. The two became reasonably close during this time, although they would not have too much of a chance to bond until much later in life.
When Zuta came of age she spent some time in the academy on Korriban, though she never truly departed the family estate on Ziost on a permanent basis. She achieved reasonable success in her academic responsibilities, but her true victories came when on practical assignments, especially when her ability to both lead and follow came into play, slipping seamlessly between the two as needed. Unfortunately this was not to last, and one day while Zuta was on her homeworld the emperor struck.
Zuta was one of the first to fall to possession, weaker than her siblings in the force as she is. She brawled, burned and beat her way through the streets of her home under the influence of Vitiate, and when the electrical pulse freed her from the control she found herself bored. All of that bloodshed meant nothing to her without her own mind earning and relishing in it. Regardless, she made her way off of the planet quickly, leaving her parents and elder brothers to muster a defence while the rest of House Ronith assembled aboard the space station above Ziost, conducting an ancient ritual entreating the gods for protection. It did not work.
Because of the ritual Zuta was connected in some shallow capacity to the planet and those on it when they all died, including her kin. This loss ripped through her mind with savage intensity, creating an emotional blockage that she would never quite recover from. When she awoke after the cataclysm she found herself numbed and on autopilot, a terrible fate for a Sith. She remembers almost nothing of the aftermath until the remnants of the Ronith ended up on Korriban, a conclave with the Vipions to discuss what was happening in the galaxy at the time. Her third-born sister was named the head of the House and Zuta was assigned to help look after the near-catatonic, mute Temekel. It is through this fondness and bond that Zutauha snapped out of her grey-state.
Once more this only lasted a few weeks. As she lived her life on Korriban, pondering a future for herself in her now vastly changed house and helping look after her cousin a new foe arrived, the twin conquerors. The remnants of House Ronith stood bravely alongside the Vipions there but in time they were worn down and pushed back, with Zuta’s most vivid memory of the invasion being herself sheltering in a closet in a Vipion sanctuary building alongside Temekel. When the smoke cleared she discovered that almost all of the surviving Ronith’s had perished in the battle including her older sister, and that they were,in their current state, more a bother than a boon. She was sent off to marry the son of a planetary governor in some obscure backwater of imperial space, and her brother to a small monastery on Beregen.
Zuta is a poor candidate for any suitor who simply wants a wife to sit and wave and bear children for him, and their marriage was an unhappy one. Despite this, the Pureblood’s intense loyalty to the House held her back from leaving or changing for many years, until eventually she could stand him no longer, shattering his two front teeth with a serving tray over dinner for insulting her family. Suffice to say that after this it became apparent that she must find some other place to call home, and so she returned to the one authority she served above all else; the Patriarch of House Vipion.
Immediately afterwards she enrolled within the Horuset Academy and began to search for surviving relatives, proving herself extremely capable during the trials and other such tasks. She currently aims to strengthen her ties with the military and hone her saber forms. She has also been betrothed to Apprentice Soyut Vipion, a match of mutual satisfaction that will not be formally acted upon until she becomes an apprentice herself.
Khatâtas Woashi Ronith, Apprentice to Sith Mohtoni
Khatâtas is the first and only child of Lord Rora (Zaliqa Goo Dijomatsa) and Lord Fejtitza (Exosa Woashi Ronith), born several years before the treaty of Coruscant. His parents decided for him to follow a path that combined the expertise of their respective houses.
As a result Khatâtas had to study subjects such as military history, strategy and tactics, psychology and politics as well as martial arts and the art of reading body language, kinesics in order to prepare him to become a worthy combatant both on and off the battlefield.
His training began as soon as his body and mind allowed it, often could he be found in the archives studying various subjects, some of which were rather ‘basic’ such as learning to read, write and speak in both the High and Common Sith language, as well as theory on the various saber forms or he was improving his physical condition. Khatâtas was often isolated from the others, even though he was capable of enjoying the presence of others, this wasn’t something that most were capable of seeing, aside from a select few.
Not long before Khatâtas came of age he would have gone to the academy on Korriban, often visiting the Korriban estate of the House Dijomatsa to learn more about them as well, not wanting to be ignorant to his father’s house. Just like at the Ronith and Vipion estates on Ziost he often isolated himself while studying, this caused other purebloods to frown upon him while aliens wanted to make contact. Whoever tried, no one succeeded except for that select few from his family.
However one day when Khatâtas returned to his homeworld, as he did quite often, was a very unfortunate day for all whom were present on Ziost, the emperor struck down upon one of five sacred planets of the sith. Khat being one of the first to fall to possession, he was forced to fight his way through the streets of Ziost under the influance of Vitiate. And not long after regaining control over himself thanks to the electrical pulse, he soon discovered his mother had died fighting republic soldiers, who weren’t even being controlled. Even after this discovery he felt little to nothing on the matter and made his way off the planet rather quickly. Leaving with his father to assemble aboard the space station above Ziost, along side most of House Ronith, conducting an ancient ritual entreating the gods for protection, along side Zutauha and her siblings. Unfortunatelly it didn’t work.
Thanks to the ritual Khatâtas was granted a slight connection to the planet and it’s citizens during all of their deaths, including those who were truly valueable. This blasted through his mind with unthinkable intensity, crippling his mind in such a way that it became instable. Once he had awoken, he did so in the Vipion conclave, he had been unconscious much longer in comparison to most others. Khatâtas felt empty and had to think, which he did as he continued his studies, while assisting wherever he could.
However this once again didn’t last very long, only a week after waking up and returning to his duties and studies is when a new enemy had appeared, Zakuul. The remaining members of House Ronith and House Dijomatsa stood bravely alongside the Vipions, as their foreign invaders attacked, they were pushed back in time, all that Khatâtas could remember was seeing his father being decapitated in front of him, little else of his memory from that moment was still saved within his mind. After discovering that there were barely any Ronith or Dijomatsa had survived the battle, including his father, and the fact that he was more of a bother than worth in his current state he was sent tot he planet Upekzar, a sith world located in the Outer Rim Territories.
Khatâtas eventually landed upon the terrestrial world covered in forests, jungles, plains, mountains and volcano’s. The latter of which was truly fascinating according to Khat, a volcanic ring of islands belonged to the sith and was also the location of a Dark Side Nexus. On his time on Upekzar he learned of a Diplura sub-species who are twisted by the dark side by ancient alchemists, these creatures were called Rhak-skuri. Researching along side various other Sith, Alchemists and the Imperial Reclamation Service.
House Assets and Properties
A list of the current assets associated, or owned, by the Vipion family as a whole. ((OOC Note: Not everything here is publicly known, if you wish to know what specifically would be then please PM me.))
The Vipion Spire
The Vipions, like all others families worthy of note, own one of the large spires that pierce the skyline of Kaas City. Whilst by no means the grandest or closest to the Sith Sanctum, their Spire is fairly busy and not yet forced to the outskirts and made totally irrelevant. Inside the Spire is the public hub of the Vipion family. Allied Imperials enjoy the freedom to explore their lusts and debauched urges in the private floors that boast bars, gambling tables, restaurants, consorts and dancers. Whilst less than savoury and respectable, it is a necessary step in controlling the lackeys of the family and swaying political allies in their favour.
Other floors are dedicated to homing the different aspects of the family. Imperial officers have large apartments, members of the Sith enjoy reclusive sanctuaries and personal guards have barracked throughout the Spire. The top floors of the spire are the private grounds of the Vipion family themselves and Darth Vipion has his private chambers there just above the command centre of the Vipin forces. In total there is 26 floors visible of the spire, whilst a single basement is used as an expansive storage facility for items that need to be kept close at hand, as well as artifacts that require constant protection and upkeep.
One of the most notable points of the Vipion Spire is the servers that house the vast array of electronic records that have been created, discovered or recovered over the centuries. These are also alongside the paper copies of works that were transcribed to digital, works that are revered almost as much as the ancestors who wrote them. Another is the Tree of Ziost, taken after an expedition from Darth Vipion, which resides outside his main office of Darth Vipion. It is a place of contemplation and deep thought as well as a welcoming gesture to any who seek the council of the Vipion hierarchy. A final point to note is the Chronicle. This is a small sanctum in the estate that is simply three walls of solid stone. On these walls an account of the Vipions is kept, chronicling everything that happens to them. The room is only about one third used, with two of the three walls still ready to have history added. ![[Image: ddmsrealm-tor-dromund-kaas-city-skyline.jpg]](http://www.ddmsrealm.com/wp-content/gallery/tor-dromund-kaas/ddmsrealm-tor-dromund-kaas-city-skyline.jpg) The Vipion Citadel
The heart of Kaas city is a difficult place to conduct business more discreetly and because of this plots of lands were bought up some way into the jungles of Dromund Kaas. Close enough to the spaceport to enjoy the protection of Imperial forces charged with keeping beasts at bay, but far enough away that no patrols happen to wander inside its boundaries. A tall chain link fence with razor wire surrounds the citadel with a large wall further in. Spaced about the wall are watchtowers armed with gun turrets and used as lookout points by guards. Whilst the jungle grows right up to the fence, from then until the wall all the vegetation is cut down to create a killing field and floodlights used to illuminate the field and discourage and predators should stealth themselves in the darkness. Within the walls the Citadel is arranged much like the keep to a castle. With multiple buildings around the outside and facing a large open courtyard in the centre.
Whilst rumour might circulate of secret labs, hidden legions of soldiers or prisons for disappearing people in the night; only the latter is true. The Citadel is for the most part a base for landing and refitting smaller craft as well as storing larger quantities of goods. The Imperial forces still document all travel legally and note down all arrivals and departures as they happen. The garrison of Imperials maintain order. The only untoward behaviour that is shown is the blind eye taken when the odd convoy arrives with the seal of Darth Vipion, this is accounted for in the pleasure pits of the Vipion Spire with the officers. Only one of the buildings is not monitored by the Imperials is a low slung bunker at the rear of the Citadel. This is garrisoned by a team of mercenaries who have been serving the Vipions for as long as anybody can remember. Inside this building political prisoners share cells next to some of the most sensitive information and things that need to vanish are also hidden.
A number of landing pads are found in the roofs of the buildings here and often traffic arrives and ears quickly as the Vipions go about resolving the internal trade that the Empire relies upon. Legal methods of income are the priority here and only the Bunker is ever kept free of agents of the Empress through the tactical hiding of certain floors and well placed bribes to the correct individuals. Unlike the Vipion Spire, the Imperials stationed here are a permanent unit and so more measures are taken to keep them happy. Regular shipments of goods leave Kaas City to raise the spirits of these men and women, and just as many return bearing the fruits of the Citadel. ![[Image: rnd2hJT.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/rnd2hJT.jpg) The Korriban Offices
Like many of the Sith, the Vipions built a small office section near the Korriban academy as a base of operations for scouting the crops of acolytes for apprentices. Whilst more expansive than was ever needed, it provides a small income in renting out offices for the use of other lesser Sith. However, following the destruction of Korriban at the hands of the Eternal Empire the offices are far less lucrative than before, almost any profit made having now been put back into the offices to reconstruct them. ![[Image: a1M0d3L.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/a1M0d3L.jpg) The Vipion Crypt
The original Vipion Crypt occupied a deep valley on Ziost. Countless minor tombs and Chambers made up this complex and was the final resting place for the entire Vipion line until the fall of Ziost robbed the Vipions of their legacy and made it impossible to rest their number there. Whilst there were suggestions to replicate the spectacle on Korriban or Dromund Kaas, it was deemed by Darth Vipion to be too costly to do so and instead a Crypt was commissioned on Dromund Kaas amidst the flora and fauna. In the style of an ancient mastaba it is labyrinthian in nature and has countless chambers ready to inturn the latest fallen members of House Vipion. Whilst there remains a small select number of tombs on Korriban, these are mostly forgotten and used for those simply so unimportant thye do not warrant being entombed in the crypt. ![[Image: 1813700-ca_20100108_dromundkaas02_800x450.jpg]](https://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/3/36158/1813700-ca_20100108_dromundkaas02_800x450.jpg) The Vipion Flotilla
The Vipion fleet is currently made up of four vessels, acquired through the time the family has been in operation across the Empire. As of right now it is docked above Kaas City being retrofitted and resupplied.
As the current flagship and oldest vessel in the Vipion flotilla ‘the Jewel of Ziost’, as it reads in High Sith, is still a relatively young vessel. Secured only a decade prior by Darth Coduno, it was formally known as the ‘Artifact’ and served Lord Mink Larydae and Darth Mortain Morrigu. But once the previous owners chose to leave to pursue their own goals Darth Vipion took over control and this ship was renamed to suit its new owner and keep the promise of the tablet of purity that has since guided the Vipions for generations before. It has not seen action since the truce with the Eternal Empire and the enforced peace has given the ship time to recover from all it has been through. Scathing attacks and moments of fleeting destruction pepper this ship's past, yet the Jewel of Ziost still fights on. Some say it cannot be destroyed, mostly those who seek new sections of marines to fill its personnel quota, and the Vipions all too happily push this myth to be factual. ![[Image: images-swtor-backgrounds-harrower34-war-...public.jpg]](https://www.walldevil.com/wallpapers/h14/images-swtor-backgrounds-harrower34-war-old-republic.jpg)
The Vipion flotilla boasts not only a single Harrower, but recently, it gained the services of a second one. Previously named ‘The Leviathan’ it was quickly reborn as Th’An (Or ‘The Challenger’ in galactic basic) after being recovered through the diplomatic dealings of Soyut Vipion. To ensure there was no signs that the Vipions desired to use this resources against the Empire Darth Vipion encouraged the total recall of all forces that had been stationed there and had them replaced with new graduates from the Imperial academies. This seemed to please the powers that be and meant that the new captain was quickly surrounded with all the luxeries that the Vipion’s could afford until once more it was firmly in their fold. Th’An very rarely operates with Th’Choina iw Ziost as they can achieve far more separated, though with the recent focus on consolidation the two ships have been seen regularly birthed together.

Th’Kakijaiw, or ‘Memory’ as it is said in galactic basic, was obtained by the Vipions at the same time as Th’Choina iw Ziost alongside a third vessel that perished in the war with Zakuul. Th’Kakijaiw in fact mutinied against the Vipions during its first years of service after the original captain was hung by Darth Vipion for disobeying a direct order. The crew was swiftly put down and replaced with those far more loyal and aware of the obligations they owed the Vipions. It was this kind of ruthless behaviour that kept Th’Choina iw Ziost from ever doing the same, even though it’s much greater size would have put doubts over whether it could have been recovered fully. Th’Kalijaiw was used extensively during the war with Zakuul and to this date a number of the scars born from the conflict are visible on the plating that is still yet to be replaced.

The final ship in the Vipion flotilla is another Terminus class destroyer, named Th’Doirizi - or ‘the Desolate’ - and came into Vipion service just after the fall of Ziost. With so much suddenly lost administration and logistical efforts were in disarray and House Vipion stepped in to aid the effort to move assets of the Empire around and put things back in order. This very Terminus was transferred to their service to aid in this task and even after giving it back, the captain remained a loyal follower to the Vipion House. Th’Doirizi saw little to no military action in the following conflicts as it was often reused as a transport vessel when there were no Gage class transports available. Now that supplies are being funneled in via the Eternal Fleet, Th’Doirizi is now back on a full military detail.

The Broken Bone Society
Back when Darth Vipion was still a young apprentice, he found that his master had aligned himself with a group of debauched nobles who worked together to improve their wealth and then spend those credits on mad and insane ventures to fuel their lusts and desires. In the end Darth Vipion, with malice and ruthlessness, executed the ringleaders of this group and reformed it into something else. It remained a money making organisation but rather than spending this wealth the group became a banking clan. Due to this the Vipions have always held close ties with the Society and ensure that the CEO is always one willing to aid the Vipions, in exchange for exclusive rights to bank for the Vipion House. Stock, trade and investment are all managed aboard the Society stations that are operated across the galaxy.
The Twin Sun Travellers
Darth Vipion, for as long as he could, operated a resistance to the Eternal Empire until formally ordered to stand down, which he did so. However the resources he had put together could not all formally come back into the Empire without accepting responsibility for fighting Zakuul and reaping the wrath of Arcann. Instead these assets were given to Toriya, an agent of Darth Vipion, who used them to form a band of privateers known as ‘the Twin Sun Travelers’ after the duel suns of Tatooine where she is based. Whilst not capable of keeping up with the fleets of the major factions, the Travelers do make a small profit from their piracy and have often come to the aid of the Vipions in times of need as well as providing unknown shuttles for missions of secrecy. ![[Image: fifth_alsakan_conflict_by_wraithdt-d4v2fez.jpg]](http://orig06.deviantart.net/8f29/f/2012/095/0/1/fifth_alsakan_conflict_by_wraithdt-d4v2fez.jpg) The Chiss Ascendancy
Now, the Chiss are a reclusive and isolationist species, which shows in their dealings with the Empire. This is no different to their relations with the Vipions, however, a long time back a member of the Chiss species was exiled from the Ascendency following evidence taken by Darth Vipion and handed over to the ruling families. Certainly not owed any favours, the Vipion’s do at least have a line to the Chiss, which is more than most have.
The Credit Board
This is the name given to a circle of bounty hunters and smugglers who work together for their own mutual benefit, sending contracts each other's way and providing positive references to future employers for each other. A number of these members have worked for House Vipion before and so the Vipions enjoy relatively good rates for the more roguish jobs that Sith of the Empire cannot perform alone.

House Vipion Reliquery
A current archive of all the relics and artefacts recovered for House Vipion that either grace viewing platforms in the Spire, are protected in guarded vaults in undisclosed locations or are carried and worn by the members of the family.
The Tablets of Purity
For as long as there has been Vipions the Tablets of Purity have resided close to the head of the family. These pieces of stone were first carved with the founding of the Vipions and are supposed to predict the future of the House and act as a guide to the head of the family during times of great trial. These tablets are sealed away so deeply that the secret of their location is known only to the head of the family and viewing is done totally privately. A few extracts have come and been made Oh licensed record but the piece in full is totally unknown.
This does mean the tablets are no longer in perfect condition. Ziost was horrifying for the conscious as well as the unconscious and even these most sacred of stones were rent into pieces by the force of Vitiate leaving parts and pieces missing or illegible. Because of this they are reviewed with far less reverence now and far less often, but, they still remain a secret of the House and will do so surely until whatever demise Typhojem has in store.
![[Image: 10-tablet.jpg]](https://godinanutshell.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/10-tablet.jpg)
The Blade of the Abyss
Over one hundred and fifty years ago Coduno Vipion constructed his second, and final, saber. Using parts taken from locations deeply linked to the darkside he crafted a hilt intrinsically linked to the force. Since then the blade has found use in 3 galactic wars as well as a large number of skirmishes in between. This blade has now become the icon of the Vipion leader and a badge of office for whomever takes Darth Vipion’ place.
The Bonds of the Ancestors
In the lives of some sith there is a moment; be it of philosophical clarity, pure battlefury or historical eureka. In these moments the darkside will flow with unrelenting rage and power through the sith like a vessel of Typhojem’s will. For the Vipions these moments are not to be forgotten, yet, they are not simply recorded in tomes or in the Chronicle. Sith capable in basic levels of alchemy will forge a golden chain with a circular pendant on it - called a bond - with runes and High Sith script gilded into the pendant outlining the moment. Into this process the Vipion will pour their malice, their hate, and their emotional state in the bliss of their success.
These bonds are then worn until the death of the original owner who puts it into hiding. From there the bonds must be rediscovered by the members of the house or they will not come back into the fold. The point of this is to urge the sith of the Vipions to strive out and seek out power. The power obviously comes in the form of the bonds themselves however the true goal is to gain power in the journey for the bonds. Once reclaimed the bonds are strapped somewhere on the Vipion so tightly that the chain will begin to dig into the flesh of the host.
These bonds act as nothing more than shallow wells of emotion and alone do little to boost the strength of any sith. In concentrated numbers they do slightly more but are in no way going to channel enough emotion to make a huge difference. As of right now only six are in the possession of Darth Vipion and one in possession of Lord Tokiai, though countless others are hinted and suggested at in the histories in the archives.
Qyâsik
As a gift of tribute to Lord Tokiai, apprentice Vaenra went on a mission to find something for the Sith Lord that was as of yet totally absent in the Houses. She did as was asked of her, venturing off the beaten track into tombs long since forgotten byt all except the oldest tomes found deep within the Academy archives. Qyâsik, or 'Force' as it translates into basic, is an artefact of a long dead Lord of the Sith whom crafted it to aid in his use of telekinetic force abilities. In the centre of the palm it has a large red gem stone that seems to be illuminated like fire from within.
Then on the chains around the wrist are two smaller gems - exactly like the first - that aid in focusing the power of the first and hug tightly to the skin of the wearer. The artefact is capable to be worn under any gauntlet or hand armouring and can be wrapped up in fabric whilst still fully capable of buffing the user's telekinetic ability. A truly unique item for a Sith Lord of truly unique stature.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
