FROM: Vayek Vipion

SUBJECT: After Action Report: Two Arch Scouting

INTRODUCTION:

Scouting mission up north at Two Arch Outpost to asses their defensive capabilities and resources in preparations for future attack.

Summary:

Mission Status: Success

Deployed Location:
Anx Minor, Two Arch Outpost

Deployed Personnel:
Sith Zynn - Commanding
Apprentice Vayek Vipion
Apprentice Rhave Vipion
Ensign Thymius Rees
Corporal Crix Rennab

Duration of Deployment:
[09/04/2023]

Details of Operation:

Scouting Report:
Two Arch Outposts defences begin by the large stone arch overseeing the only feasible entrance inside. Below stands two barricades and before them minefields. These are laid down in pairs in an extensive pattern with designed passages to be able to pass through. It is recommended that certain Sith accompany any further sabotage or assault who will be able to spot these mines. Those are at least Apprentices Charsette, Vayek and Rhave and others of similar ability.

They have two turrets positioned by each of the two barricades with sandbag barriers and more heavy repeaters further in. There appeared to be turrets hidden in the rock wall on the inside so crossfire is to be expected. The Corporal reports a pair of Anti-Air guns. The outpost is serving as a munitions depot with Anti-Tank capabilities. The troopers have been possibly identified as the Republic's 5th Garrison Battalion, numbering at around 250 soldiers. Manka-Class Walker from Mosanek is confirmed. The Corporal further wishes to asses their capability to move out their reinforced company with present transports, their supply situation and if they hold additional droids or beasts. Sith Zynn and myself infiltrated deep behind the barricade where I managed to steal their own maps and some notes on barricade placements. I attempted to abduct a sergeant while disguised but we were discovered on our way out and he was killed. Apprentice Rhave's illusions and Ensign Ree's portable turrets assisted our escape.

- Assistant-Arbitrator Vayek Vipion, Apprentice of Sith Zynn

Comments:

Ensign Rees has provided video footage panning their defences and patrol patterns from just outside the outpost. Their pattern seems to be in about six men groups.

I would praise the Ensign for her assistance in our escape and the Corporal for well observed and detailed recon notes. It's clear he was paying attention.

Patch Note: Added notes of turrets on the inside attached to the rock walls and clarity of inside threats.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
