Mission Objectives:
Mission Progression:
Apprentice Luvane reporting master, upon initial landing we were warned we only had a few hours before the surface storms became too severe for extraction, so we only had a limited time frame, which is a true shame master as the section of the ancient city we searched was a marvel of the ancient techniques of our ancestors. Once identifying the main steps to ascend to the city entrance we were met with a balcony adorned with four statues of ancient Sith (Species not Order).
The four statues depicted what I interpret to be the cities founders. Zusrai Chijso, father of founding, Cena Oruxu, mother of shaping, Mojlush Lazu, brother of forges, Rhesua Vaqriu, sister of study, these are clearly important figures within the history of this place. Before we made our way into the city gates I made sure to sacrifice a slave to the gods Marserha Jochor and Typhojem, to properly venerate them for what must have been the first time in that city for centuries, once the blood rite was finished we proceeded.
Once inside we found a large open chamber with a large statue in the middle, the room remarkably well intact but sadly the statue of the head and fallen from the statue due to disrepair, after looking through this room we made our way into an adjacent chamber, it had three kneeling statues with ash filled braziers before them, it was at this chamber where myself and Apprentice Occularis had split off from Lord Iezkon and Apprentice Rekhen, to cover more ground faster.
After walking down a long and grand hallway we found a large tablet carved into the wall, enscribed in Sith it detailed the inner workings of the administration of the city in its day-to-day, authored by the Head Administrator of its time called Sazar Chijso, I believe a descendent of the Father of Founding, leading me to believe that the four names mentioned on the balcony statues were also the names of the four Sith Houses that reigned over the city.
Travelling further down the passageway we came across a second hallway this one having two large tablets on its walls, one detailing supply records (at least what was undamaged) was measured in deliveries arriving at specific times (sunset and sunrise). It did allude to major roads being used, hinting that the city was in travel distance from the hub. At the bottom, there were mentions of supplies from the city had been raided as of late, leaving their supplies delayed (I speculate this may have been the start of the Republic invasion of the Ancient Empire.
The second tablet held fairly small incident reports, upper section of it eroded away. Stuff like misplacing tablets, or people causing a hefty debate. Notably, there was mentions of a "Ziureti"(watcher in common sith) that often caused furniture damage and stole a "second key" to play with.
A bit further down the hallway a quite eroded, fragile and snapped-in-half massassi lanvarok, was found under some claw marks from a large creature. Nearby, sandpiles could be found. Apprentice Occularis found the bones of the ancient Tu'kata (larger than compared to those known to today).
We had found a large door leading to a chamber, unable to open it and not willing to damage the structure more than time had already done to it, I found another entrance I speculate to have been used by the Tu'kata that guarded these halls and we used it to gain entry, What we found inside was what I believe to have been a storage chamber, possibly for supplies with a well (possibly, not confirmed) in its center.
With not much being in this room we moved into the next chamber which was and I mean this master, you must behold the sight with your own eyes, a large forum or meeting hall, seating fit for hundreds arranged in a circle around a large statue in the center, I believe this to be the center of administration (Administration Hall) where the daily running of the city was discussed and consensus was reached, we had succeeded in clearing the path from the landing zone to this chamber for ease of access for the entire Hall of Administration, this is the end of my report.
