Mission Report: Motifs make the Master

#1
Expedition Team:
  • Apprentice Luvane
  • Apprentice Daxze
  • Apprentice Occularis
  • Apprentice Cuvao
  • Neophyte Evelyn

Objectives:
Primary Objective I: Locate the beast pits and locate any remaining motifs from the beastmasters who tended to them.
Primary Objective II: Locate beast remains or records to determine what beasts were held in the pits. Any organic remains are to be delivered to Sith Sarias for storage.
Secondary Objective I: Determine if the ancient Tuk'ata belonging to the Head Administrator, originated from these pits.

Mission Progression:

Apprentice Luvane reporting Sith Sarias, upon arriving at the facility we noted that it was already breached and open for us and we made our way inside and soon entered the first chamber in our exploration, we stumbled across some very old bodies, Republic warriors from the Hyperspace War assumed cause of death is acid burn damage given what state they were in, we found a sigil of a closed scroll in a barbed Pentagon as well and scratching noises started to originate from behind the stone walls of the facility.

Once proceeding further into the derelict facility we came across the body of a looter, the trespasser suffered what they deserved, we observed that they had similar burns as the Republic Warriors we came across earlier. We also found a sarcophagus belonging to High Beastmaster Zelexa Vaqriu, who died in the battle of Metellos, alongside her Sith hound, Det’rax. Above the sarcophagus was a large symbol of an abstracted silooth within a circle of chains.

A large tablet further in contained a ‘rite of beast lore’ in which we had to suggest improvements for a lifeform, and how these improvements might be used. After passing the rite we opened the door to the Pit. In the Pit itself we fought off waves of giant, sithspawn ants that could spew acid. The facility gave us projections of our respective creature suggestions from prior to help us in the fight. We were victorious in this of course and we slew the waves of creatures down to the last.

After the combat we found a tablet confirming that the Hound in the Admin Centre came from this facility. In the facility we also found an axe head styled like that of a Tuk'ata head, adjusted slightly to still remain functional, shortly after we made our leave from the facility having completed the Objectives, this is the end of my report.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
