Contraband Guidelines
Revision number 3. Accurate as of 27 ATC.
By decree of the Dark Lord, this list has been compiled as an official ruleset for the Imperial personnel in House Horuset. It describes their code of conduct in regards to the contraband searches. These rules are absolute and can only be overruled by the Conservancy or by General Bastion.
Spoiler: Acolytes
Allowed Equipment
-House Horuset Acolyte Robe
-House Horuset Training Blade
-House Horuset Datapad
-House Horuset Holocom
-House Horuset code cylinders
-Drinks bottles, must be checked for contents
All equipment or items not listed above is considered “Prohibited Equipment” (Examples)
-Cameras
-Listening Devices
-Any type of blaster
-Any form of personal belongings or mementos. 1
Vibroswords and armour plates can be awarded to acolyte's but must be immediatly confirmed with the Conservancy and Imperial Security teams or the rewarded items will be stripped as contraband.
Failure to comply with the initial search or the confiscation of goods will result in being stunned with a stun round, or by being handed over to a nearby Sith, or preferably the Envoy of War. Should none be around, the Imperials on duty are within their right to temporarily detain said Acolyte. Bear in mind that the Imperials are always to show restraint in these scenarios. Needless violence or damaging of the students will be frowned upon.
As a guideline for those who confiscate the contraband; Cameras and listening devices are to be checked for sensitive information before being destroyed. Blasters and Armour are to be cross referenced with anything that may be missing from the Powerbases’ Imperial supply. Should it be stolen, the thief will face consequences. If equipment is of non-imperial origin, it is to be safeguarded for exactly 50 days. If nothing has been done with it by then, it can be scrapped for parts. Belongings or Personal Mementos are to be handed to an Overseer of the house for the furthering of Acolyte training.

Spoiler: 1
*An exception worth mentioning is certain cultural accessories (Pureblood jewellery, Twi’lek headbands and other trinkets that pose no threat to the harmony aboard the ship or estate) Note that this is not done out of compassion or understanding. These items often form an important part of the identity of an acolyte, and can be used by more senior Sith or Overseers as leverage to shape and mould the student. They can and should be thoroughly searched and scanned however.
Vibroswords and armour plates can be awarded to acolyte's but must be immediatly confirmed with the Conservancy and Imperial Security teams or the rewarded items will be stripped as contraband.
Spoiler: OOC
This means when a vibrosword of piece of armour is awarded to acolytes a member of the Conservancy must be told as soon as possible so the information can be passed along to the security teams and included in a list of exceptions to the the rules. A character found with equipment that hasn't been noted as an exception will have the equipment removed.
Spoiler: Apprentices or Neophytes
The equipment of an Apprentice is different.
A Sith apprentice is often sponsored by their masters, making the lines blurry in regards to authority. However, these contraband searches are ordered by the Dark Lord. This means that, whether they like it or not, the apprentice will have to subject themselves to searches.
There is a list of what they cannot have.
All equipment listed below is prohibited for certain.
-Cameras or recording devices
-Alcohol. Beverages or in pure form
-Spice, deathsticks or other drugs
-Grenades, bombs or other explosives
-EMP’s or Ion weapons
-Slicing terminals or dataspikes
-Any type of blaste
r-Any equipment from the 142nd Divisions Arsena
l-Live animals
-Any droid-Datapad or holocom not supplied by Horuset (These will be kept at the checkpoint and can be collected upon departure.)

Needless violence or damaging of the Sith will be frowned upon and may be met by consequences.

Alcohol is allowed on the ship, but only when sold in the mess hall. It cannot be taken off the ship, nor can alcohol from outside be brought unto the ship. If it is confiscated, the bottles are to be brought to the Imperial Quartermaster who will either destroy or re-distribute it.
Spice and other drugs are to be destroyed in all scenarios. It has no place on an Imperial Warship. If any soldier who confiscated it is found in possession of it an hour after confiscation, they will spend the night in the brig to sober up.

Spoiler: Household Sith
Functionally a Household Sith may carry whatever they wish to fulfill their specific role within the Powerbase, however Security Teams mantain the authority to search Household Sith to check for any suspicious items, which are to be confirmed with a member of the Conservancy if there are doubts about the items found. However one rule is in place for Household Sith:
No live animals or droids are permitted within the estate.
An exception can be negotiated with the Conservancy however this is per occassion and is intended for lessons, a Household Sith may not have a blanket pass to bring any animal they wish into the estate at any time they wish.

Spoiler: Imperial Soldiers
Imperial soldiers are not permitted to carry:
-Equipment outside of their specialisation
-Modified equipment
-Alcohol or other drugs
-Sith relics
An exclusion can be negotiated with the Envoy of War in exceptional circumstances, or through sufficient rank one can gain permission to cary select pieces of equipment from other specialisations. Squad leaders are encouraged to perform regular equipment checks to ensure all pieces of equipment are kept up to standard and nothing is missing, though the standards in question are to the discretion of the squad leader. Lieutenants and Ensigns can request to examine dress uniform.
