Imperial Insignias
With the introduction of new insignias. Too is the aim to revamp the Imperial dice system with the amount of dice representing a soldier's experience, and hence relative strength.
The new system will no longer see Imperials utilising d6 in the same way Sith do, as an Imperial soldier with 5d6 should in no way stand a chance against a Sith with the same amount.
Thus Imperial d6s are being changed to d4s to show the disparity in power.New dice will also now be obtained with medals and accolades. With a new medal or accolade earning half a dice-up.For example a Specialist of 1d4 who achieves both the Orsus Accolade and Sacrifical Defence Medal will go up to a 2d4.
The overall goal is for a medals and accolades to naturally be achieved as individuals of the Horuset Imperial military go about their duties. Therefore representing their development as a character as they gain more experience.

Upon accessing, a prerecording would begin to play. Static and crackling at first, the voice of Captain McCarthy soon became loud and clear, his voice backed by the Imperial Anthem which too faded in.
"This recording is made by Captain McCarthy working under orders of General Bastion in regards to something extremely important within the Empire. Recognition. Compensation. Rewarding those who do not merely do their duty... But go beyond.
Everyone of us works hard to see this mighty Empire prosper. We all play our parts. We all have our roles. Yet there are some amongst us who do not merely do as asked, as expected. There are some who do not only work until their hands are sore, but until their hands are bloodied. Until they have worn away their flesh like a weakness, revealing the bone beneath as testament to their commitment. Their diligence. Their courage. Their sacrifice. It is these individuals which the Empire not only celebrates, but requires. Those who innovate, those who show courage when others falter. Those who stand as a shining beacon against all that which wishes to see our glorious Empire crumble. It is they which are the foundations upon which this Empire is built... And is they who shall be our future.
As Soldiers of the Empire it is your duty to aspire to be one such beacon. To achieve and conquer in the Empire's name so that the Empire may in turn reward you.
Within this file is contained a list of ribbons, marks, accolades and medals. All of which any true Imperial should strive to obtain. For they are not mere hunks of pitiful metal. They are proof of achievements, testaments to one's greatness. Tokens of appreciation from the very Empire you all serve. Let this list be ingrained into your mind. Let each seal fill you with ambition, passion and zeal.
For you shall need all if you are to ever become truly worthy of all this Empire's blessings.
For Dark Lord Horuset
For the Empire."
The Imperial anthem would play for a few moments longer, giving the listener time to reflect until it faded into silence. It is then that the file promptly followed, text and imagery detailing the aforementioned Insignias, the variants and all their requirements.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
