Chapter 19: Victory Against the Storm

“The call had come once more for the power of the Horuset Forces to be unleashed. A great war was taking place on the planet of Orsus.” 

“Preparations were underway, as the Horuset Fleet was primed for perfection, and her Forces were ready to make a difference while striking a blow to their enemies. The members of the Horuset Powerbase located a prime spot to set up a base that soon turned to our temporary home for months on end.”

“Once the Base had been set up, scouts were sent out, scattering through the main ground of Orsus. The land was divided into sections, and the Forces were briefed on which faction held which section. At the start of the war effort, the Republic had the most sectors. The Horuset Powerbase refused for that fact to continue any longer.”

 

“Even though at the start of the war front, the Republic had the upper hand on Orsus, they were threatened by our presence. An ambush had fallen on the new Horuset Base which resulted in many casualties. However, the loss of casualties poured fuel into the fire of the Horuset Forces, as they pushed by the overwhelming Republic Force from the Base.”

 

“The ambush was a wake-up call to all, as there was no time to rest. Everyday was a fight to survive and win in this world. As the days passed, the Horuset Forces banded together to claim sectors under the banner of the Powerbase, while driving out the Republic Forces, along with the few pirates, seeking to reap the spoils of war.”

 

“Half way through, a representative of Darth Shaar came to Orsus, and desired to speak to Darth Horuset as well as Darth Axiom. The goal was to learn of their plans on how they both plan to win against the Republic. The pleasantries may have been false on Axiom’s side, even when a truce was made, which was a costly mistake on Axiom’s part. A mission was given to a group of the Horuset Forces who went forth to claim an old depot filled with ancient weaponry, and this group met face-to-face with a few unknown Sith, clearly who possibly served the Axiom Powerbase. Regardless of what the unknown Sith wanted to gain, the Horuset group won the match. It was then that the war had expanded beyond one foe.”

“As time moved on, the sectors were quickly being claimed and marked with the Horuset banner. Darth Axiom and his army was defeated on Orsus, with ease, giving the Horuset Force a clean path to the Republic’s remaining sector, their Base. A fierce lengthy battle occurred as both sides sought the need to win this war. That battle would decide the fate of the war front. A battle that the Horuset Forces conquered.”

 

“It goes to show that, when banded together, the Horuset Powerbase is a force to be reckoned with…”
