Cybernetic Equipment of the Saltaeon Powerbase
A series of cybernetic replacements and upgrades as supplied by a medical facility on Ferron under the command of Lord Saltaeon. Each piece of equipment is expertly made on request for a Sith or made to specific sizes for the Imperial Army. Use of the following cybernetics can be requested by the Sith Immortus, or Assistant, and approved by Lord Saltaeon, the Hand of Horuset, or Darth Horuset herself.
Available in various sizes for both arms and legs. The main body of the limb is composed of a lightweight Agrinium core and armoured in Desh. More expensive orders of the limbs will have the Desh swapped for an alloy made from Desh, Maranium, and Terenthium for a light but sturdy shielding. The nerve attachment method was designed Saltaeon scientists at a high point of the Sphere of Technology, a secret well kept since then and allowing for near seemless intergration between the natural body and the cybernetic. On specific request vat-grown muscle can be intergrated on the limb to replicate realistic muscle strength and tuned to be similar to the original limb that was lost.
Synth-muscle artificially grown to hold microscopic pumps and valves that replicate the use of a lung. Can be used to replace one or both lungs in the situation that a natural is damaged. The base model holds no advantages over a natural lung but can serve as a replacement. More expensive models can have one of two filters built in at the bronchus of the lung. The first filter is a gas filter, able to allow only the movement of oxygen and exhaled gases through the lungs, the filter will require a change once a month thorugh minor surgery. The second filter removes water from the lungs to counter the threat of drowning by placing a suction pipe within the bronchus that removes unexpected liquids to be stored in a link reservoir beneath the diaphragm that can be emptied through a port in the lower torse.
A small sensor plate that fits over the eye socket to act as a replacement for typical optical organs, though smaller than the average cybernetic on the market still very noticable. At extreme costs can be upgrade to either be an aritfical eye that fits inside the empty socket thus giving the appearance of a somewhat natural eye. Alternatively, also at extreme costs, can be upgraded to see: thermal energy, UV light, or act as night vision. Upgraded versions of the Sensory Replacement models will only be considered in rare cases.
Not truly a single implant but rather an umbrella term of chips and minitaturised computers that can be used to repair some brain trauma. Use cases for repair are uncommon as the implants for repair can only fit into certain spots of the standard human or Pureblooded brain but is available on offer if it should be required. The more common use is an effect lobotmoy that removes much of the personality and free thinking of the brain but replaced it with enhanced analytical performance. Not recommended for use on Sith.
Further cybernetic items have dataprints stored on the facility on Ferron with names such MK-C1 Sensory Array, V2-C Telemetry Beacon, A2B Collar, and the Cerebellium. Theories exist on the purpose of these implants but study is paused for the time being. Pending further resources to be allocated to Saltaeon scientific branches and valid force user and non-force user test subjects.
