Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

*Attached to the file was a prerecorded message, which would play a moment or so after the file had been accessed. At that, the form of Sith Tarimra, the Sith Lorekeeper, blazed to life in the cyan-white tones of a holocall, the electric blue hues accentuating some features while diminishing many others. Sith Tarimra stood with his hands folded on the grip of his cane, his hood raised but eyes shining even through the holorecording. His long cloak shifted ever so faintly as he barely glanced to the left, a subtle smile playing along his features before he began speaking, his deep, authoritative voice rolling over the holorecording like warmth from a fire.*

“Sith artefacts belong in Sith hands. That is an undeniable truth. And while much has been recovered from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during the Sacking some twenty-eight years ago, many artefacts are still kept as trophies by lessers. This is something that must always be rectified.

“It has come to my attention that a scroll dating back to the Jedi Civil War from 306 to 303 BTC has been recovered by one of the myriad smuggling rings in the galaxy. This is intolerable: such valued pieces of ancient knowledge must reside in the hands of the Sith Order, not in the greedy paws of a criminal. It is known to me that the criminals currently in possession of the scroll seek to sell it to the highest bidder, be they Imperial, Republic, or criminally aligned. While the exact nature and location of the scroll are unknown to me, I am aware that the current… Owners are meeting with potential buyers in a private meeting in a spaceport on the minor planet of Tuc at the edge of Imperial Space near Taris. I am aware that these criminals carry a list of their ill-gotten gains with them; likely a datapad or physical record of some kind. It is likely that the location or nature of the scroll is recorded there.

“Your task is simple. Infiltrate the hangar and the private meeting, and seize the record detailing the goods these smugglers possess. Leave no trace of our interference: we would not wish to alert them before the time is right. Disguises can be provided."

*Tarimra offered his hand up to his left breast, clasping it tightly before giving a singular nod of his head.*

"Never Waver; Never Relent.”

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view, leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Those who see this operation completed shall be rewarded according to their station:
  • An Imperial Soldier may approach me to discuss a reward
  • An Acolyte may request a lesson in one of the Core or Adept powers
  • Those who have passed their Trials may request a lesson in an advanced Force-ability
  • Those who are beyond the rank of Apprentice or Neophyte may approach Sith Tarimra to discuss a reward

Location: Tuc Spaceport
((OOC’ly, I would recommend using one of the class hangars or a planet’s spaceport.))

Objective:  In this task, there shall be two Primary Objectives:
  • Secure the list of items
  • Leave no trace of Horuset interference.

Timeframe: The assembled party will have six weeks to complete the Operation.
((28/03/2022 shall be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: Sith Tarimra recommends that a part of four to five will be sufficient.
((Four means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at four people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than five. Please find a GM from within this number.))

Reminder: Assets are not to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
