Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

*The image of a dark-haired pureblood woman flickers into view over the holo, blue hues doing little to lessen the unwavering stare presented to whomever was looking at the message. Her visage is but a calm face, with little else to be read from it. Her attire is expectedly maintained in dark colors, favoring lighter armoring though the tactical placing of armored plating and thicker armor weaves speaks of considerations. For observant eyes, her belt holds what appears to be anything from a medical kit to vials tucked on the hip opposite her lightsaber.*

"On the matter of blood and genetics, aliens have always found a role to serve. From test subjects, to labour work or simply extracting what uses one can find from their biology. To see a personal project of mine flourish against our enemies, I require subjects. More subjects than my limited stock of them can presently accommodate on short notice".

"A settlement of refugee Cathar have been noted to have taken shelter with a smaller group of pro-republic individuals on Nam'ta Secundo. A group of akk dogs loyal to these individuals have so far kept local forces at bay".
"Your job shall be simple: Capture as many as you can, favoring variety in sex and age. I care not if some are eliminated, simply you bring a sufficient amount back to ensure enough are in stock to accommodate all the needs for the project'".

"Capture them, see them brought back...and you shall contribute to a weapon to crack the spine of our enemies".

Location:  A smaller civillian settlement, somewhat far from the nearest garrison.
OOC Location: Up to you, but I would suggest Rishi Ord Mantell
Added info:
Those on the mission will be permitted access to the Mission Asset Stockpile, within reason.

Mission Participants:

Apprentice Veilak
Apprentice Lyrissa
Acolyte Sah'sha
Acolyte Kyrila Leiyr

Mission Overview:

Upon finishing the debrief, we've embarked to the world of Nam'ta Secundus. Once we've closed in on the settlement, we've been forced to deploy from one it's corners rather than a landing pad, given how it's been occupied in full. Our landing wasn't a quiet one and from the get-go we've made contact with the locals. They didn't need much time to realize what we are and a fight ensued, one that was rather swift in execution.

One thing lead to another in a quick succession. From brief encounter with a group of humans and cathars - the latter of which have been pursued by Apprentice Lyrissa - to an Akk-Dog making an appearance only to pin her down, when myself and Acolyte Kyrila cleaned up the human straggles. All the while Acolyte Sah'sha was preoccupied with making sure that no one would think of taking flight from the landing pad.

When this leg of the journey came to an end, we've entered a substantially large clearing where bulk of the refugees were nested in. They were accompanied by a man in uniform, alongside by a young woman on top of an massive akk-dog. Apprentice Lyrissa attempted to take a diplomatic angle, yet the negotiations were cut short, as a blaster shot hurled towards her face. Coming in hot, hell followed with it.

The refugees tried to run or hide but to no avail, as the Akk-Dog rider lunged at us. That's where we've spread out: Acolyte Kyrila went around taking out the runners, Apprentice Lyrissa took care of the sniper while I engaged both the dog and the girl. Rather unsurprisingly they didn't pose much of a challenge, aside from the constantly unfolding chaos which we did our best to contain.

And suffice to say that we did, even though there were some hiccups along the way. The massive akk-dog went berserk after slaying of it's rider, killing more than a dozen of settlers, some of which managed to run to the jungles, all the while Acolyte Sah'sha managed to blow up their spacecraft.

Though, it is nothing that couldn't be handled. Me and Acolytes have rounded up the remaining refugees and settlers, while Apprentice Lyrissa dedicated rest of the night of chasing after the stragglers. With the help of Imperials, the clean-up duty was debilitatingly swift.

And after all the evaluations have been made, the gains from this deployment are following.

- Fifty slaves, mix of cathars, humans and twi'leks. The latter two can be sent to mines or be turned into meat paste,
- One smaller akk-dog, approximately one and a half meter from snout to tip of it's tail. Currently sedated,
- A man in uniform, which upon inspection is revealed to a member Nam'ta Secundus' Planetary Defense.

This prompts me to consider the mission as complete and a success.

That is all.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
