The file would open up to display a small women, bulked up by armour and muscle. She dresses all in the warrior black with an unmarked mask without etches, sharp claws array themselves on her knuckles. Esme Roi puts her hands at ease behind her back.

“Howdy Partner! The Nerfherder Constructo Incorporated is looking for your membership! You ever feel down in the dumps! Well let us build you back up! We build! An' that's we all do, all day long! It's the Nerfherder Constructo Incorporated ! Yeehaw!"

The ad ends with a little jingle, "Nerfherder Constructo Incorporated! We're good ol' fashioned!"

"The 'Nerfherder Constructo Incorporation' is an advert I've seen on the holonet since my childhood. Nobody on Orsus really questioned it. You can see some of their projects throughout the One City, they seem nearly timeless, yet their projects are never finished, years have passed, leadership of the planet has changed and yet there their unfinished construction projects remain. They are operated mostly by droids, by the occasional person yet in churning their wheels they never seem to actually get the job done. It's a ridiculous state of affairs and shouldn't really be tolerated beneath the Empire. 

More importantly, I want to know -why- nothing has been done. The stranger thing is the CEO, basically doesn't exist, very few people seemed to have actually worked for them beyond the basic levels of employment. The paper trail leads almost nowhere, there's very little trace of funding that my Logistical experts can find. Your orders are to attend to one of these sites, the "The Spa of Reflections," and investigate their operations, visit in the day and stake them out during the night. There's something more at work here." 

With that, the holo would flicker and fade from view, allowing the viewer to access the rest of the information provided.

Priority Information:

The site was used as a front by a criminal syndicate known as the 'Kraken Syndicate' to conduct their illegitimate business.


Full Report:

Once the squad touched ground we were hurried into a speeder vehicle that was manned by the Sons of Orsus as well as the vehicle being outfitted with an infrared camera capable of tracking targets through structures. As we made our approach to the construction site in the vehicle, I would man the aforementioned camera, trying to gather information on the compound itself before we attempted to make entry. Meanwhile, Specialist Codri would make her way up and to an apartment room that overlooked the construction site. Once there, she'd proceed to scout it out with electrobinoculars to attempt to gather even more information. There was little for her to add that we did not already know. Construction droids littered the area and a light security detail, made up by droids, patrolled the site. 

Exiting the vehicle, myself and Private Vaerre would make our way to the main entrance seeing as there did not seem to be an easier way in at the time. The Private would hold a little far behind as I conversed with a receptionist droid adorned with a hat. I, after some swindling, managed to gain entry under the veil of 'Vicky Voo,' a woman who I have not the slightest clue is. Ensign Rennab also joined me at this point in time, managing to also gain access to the site as we went with the notion of being plumbers. Private Vaerre remained on the perimeter of the construction site, seeking to watch for patrols and suspicious activity. Specialist Codri soon decided to exit her station of being overwatch and would somehow gain entry to the site. Thankfully, the Specialist went undetected.

Myself and the Ensign approached the centre building and were met with a single droid. Seemingly a receptionist droid at that. After passing the droid, we delved deeper by taking a set of stairs. What resides underneath was nothing but peculiar and somewhat uneasing to a degree. A low mist hung above the floor and it was entirely silent save for the dripping of water when we continued on. By this time, the Sons of Orsus would contact us over comms. They alerted us to a new arrival of four figures, heading towards the centre building. Having the Sons track them the best they can, we continued on further. Specialist Codri managed to find myself and the Ensign and so she joined up.

Eventually, the team found their way to an old office room that was opposite to a spa room and adjacent to another unmarked door that we later discovered to be another exit route. Inside the room, the Sons informed us that the four were beginning to make their way down and that the abundance of heat were making it extremely difficult for them to effectively track them. With this new information, I had the team hurry with regards to gathering/downloading/recording information. I could hear the four approaching, they were not all that quiet. However, in my peripheral vision, Ensign Rennab was being choked out by an old and damaged Imperial Assassin Droid that happened to be confused on the current state of Orsus and time itself. Luckily for us, the droid didn't immediately turn to lethal solutions as it ordered for us to identify ourselves.

After identifying ourselves and confronting the droid with the reality of present day Orsus, the four approached the closed door of the office room. One of the four would speak out to the droid itself, already knowing it was there, and asked it if it had dealt with us. The droid had us fooled as it stunned the team. From there, I have no recollection of what had happened. However, upon waking up, we found ourselves bound in some water storage room for the spa, balance tanks were present so I assume it was. We were being interrogated by some members of the Kraken Syndicate. I took the brunt of the torture it seems as I was water boarded with scolding hot temperatures.

Admittedly, I do not have much recollection of whatever the Ensign stated during the interrogation but judging from their reaction, we did not give them information of much use. The Imperial Assassin Droid from before finally seemed to come to the present day as it then eliminated the four. Being freed, we took their weapons and their devices as the Ensign confronted the droid on what it was doing working with the criminals and to give everything us everything it had on the site. After it reported what it was doing, what it gave us in regards to the site and who gave it the orders, we were handed back our own equipment as we headed back. All security were disengaged.

Sergeant 'Honour' Kienix: both first and second degree burns to the face. First-aid treated at the extraction zone and later treated by Sergeant C. Haldeen in the Dark Lord's estate.
