Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

*The image of a small human woman would flicker into view, her blonde hair hanging loose around her shoulders. Her gentle smile not quite reaching her sharp golden eyes as she seems to adopt a relaxed posture. Her armor sleek and on the lighter side as her belt would hold various bits of tech, a large medkit and twins small sabers at her waist.*

"This war has consume and spat out many men on both sides of the conflict, however not all who are no longer fit to serve on the front lines are without value. In this case I hold interest in a small contingent of former imperial soldiers called the hounds of Polus, most of them old veterans no longer able to serve effectively on the front anymore. Their fight however, has not yet left them so they have turned to serving in the pdf of Helska. There is  little pay or glory available to them in their current position.

You are to change this and see them enter into my and the empires employ, a second chance to recapture their former glory and a chance at the enemy who has taken so many of their comrades. Your work is to be done quietly and without causing a fuss on the world they are on. A simple enough task, work quickly and work efficiently."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view.

My lord, I am pleased to report our success in securing the allegiance and service of the former Imperial contingent, the Hounds of Polus.

Under the command of Apprentice Agran, myself and Apprentice Neithyra made our way to rendezvous with the contingent's captain at their makeshift headquarters on Helska.

A rather brief discussion followed between Apprentice Agran and the captain, which focused on appeals to the glory of Imperial service and the present shabbiness and low quality of the contingent's current arrangements. The Captain accordingly found the possibility of renewed honorable service under House Horuset rather agreeable but still desired our assistance in leaving their former home a better place than they found it.

While Apprentice Neithyra stayed to keep their safehouse secure, Apprentice Agran and myself, along with the captain and a handful of his men went to patrol the streets to clear out a local alien gang. After a brief encounter with the gang's leader, battle ensured during which the criminal commander was swiftly cut down with only minor injuries sustained.

It is worth noting that the captain of the Imperial contingent himself nearly perished from the blast of a thermal detonator but for the timely rescue I had managed through the force.

The the favor granted and the respect of the soldiers acquired through demonstrations of skill we finalized the arrangements for them to be transferred to service under yourself, my lord.
