Public Call for Acolyte Assembly
Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:
"Acolytes of the Horuset Powerbase have grown weaker over time. With more of those who don the higher ranks of our Sith Order to coddle them, Acolytes have become enfeebled with single-mindedness. No longer. I, Lord Kalkoran, seek out a new Apprentice who will be taken from the current generation of Acolytes. With the current generation so weak, many tasks and refining processes must be set in place to see if even a single Acolyte of the current generation is worthy of my time.Four Acolytes will be assembled for this task and once set, each will spar the others until only one remains. The single Acolyte who remains standing will be noted, by myself and likely others within the Horuset Powerbase, as an Acolyte capable of holding their own in combat who answered the call when required."
*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*
Location: Sparring Rooms: Th'Asidra or the Horuset Spire
Sparring: Sparring is a cornerstone of the Sith Order. A way to determine who holds premiership over others in direct combat that is unlikely to result in any death. In sparring, combatants can enforce several rules amongst those who spar to restrict different aspects of combat as a way to focus on a handful or even a single mode of combat if they so decide or alternatively have no such restrictions and have each combatant pit themselves with everything they can use against another combatant again using everything they can use. While maiming is unlikely in sparring, it has occurred in the past.
Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Assemble four Acolytes together who all have agreed to this task and are aware they will be sparring one another.
Primary Objective II: Beat the other three combatants into the ground.
Secondary Objective I: Devise a set of rules that restrict combat, to make the spar more focused on a certain way of fighting.
Time Frame: The Acolytes will have 14 days to complete the task before Lord Kalkoran accepts that no Acolyte is capable enough, as he first suspected.
((The 28th of September will be the deadline!))
Acolyte Group Size: Lord Kalkoran demands four Acolytes complete this task.
